Bowers School Farm: what do users think?
Desicrated: Always a nice experience in the fall.
Carly Goidosik: Take home the farm fresh eggs. You won’t regret it!
Caitlyn Krukau: We had so much fun! Kiddo and I came in the afternoon and everything was beautiful - the gardens, the building store, even the animal pens felt like they had a touch-up.The staff and volunteers were friendly and informative - they explained rules clearly and guided us when we interacted with the farm animals, i.e. do pet the horse on the face, don’t pick up a chicken moving away every time you try etc. We’ll definitely be purchasing a membership and look into their Farm Academy for kids!
Savannah L: there wasn’t any snow to show tube!
Rick Bame: Very good time. I just wish the last time slot or two was for adults only.
RJ: We went for a snow tubing. First of all there is no snow and whatever they have is poorly maintained. Terrible and over-priced place . Please avoid this place for any sort of snow tubing!!!
NBADJ7Mile: Had an amazing time with the family.
Melissa Jackson: We went glow tubing and it was So much fun! Sells out fast. Bought our tickets a month ahead. The tubing was awesome, staff was great and the pizza, hot chocolate and donuts were so good! The hot chocolate is a separate stand that you go to. They have it constantly being mixed up and they add any toppings you want; Spinkles, cookies crumbs whip cream chocolate chips chocolate syrup. They will give you warm donuts from the warmer. Will definitely be going back next year.
Tony Greening: The sledding was awesome especially at night
Gopul hossai: Otherwise a very nice country setting in a very suburban area.
Laura Boeve: My grandson visited yesterday and my son and his wife have a membership. The animals were all gone, except one cow. Nothing else. This is not the experience they were hoping for. Very disappointed.
David Lumsden: This is a great oasis and resource for the schools. Everything is awesome.
Joshua Tabor: A great place for a quick farm visit. Hands on activities and a small intimate setting. Friendly 4H volunteers and rotating activities each day. Ice cream and donuts on the way out!
Maria Cunningham: Beautiful grounds with numerous programs for kids. A great place and welcoming staff.
Crystal Kotulski: My family and I have loved this farm for years, unfortunately the summer camp registration is a mess. My children and many of my friends children unfortunately will not be attending this camp in the future due to how absolutely horribly unorganized it is. They really need to hire someone who is better fit to answer questions, positive costumer service and is able to handle the load of children being registered.
Nadezhda Mikhailova: Тихое, милое местечко. Дети могут погладить животных! Прокатиться на телеге! Поесть вкусное мороженое)))
kerri clark: Always a great experience. I highly recommend their farm learning classes. We checked out Chick's, Seeds and more. My 4 year old loved it!
shreepal chanduri: Fun place for kids..fun and learn... Pet animal... Explore and learn ..
Austin Phibbs: Bowers Farm School is a wonderful place for a person or child to get connected with agriculture!
Mark Spencer: Great place!
Alex Polonsky: Excellent produce and meats. Worth the $$$!

SOCRRA Compost Site: what do users think?
Rick Ursell: Employees here are very grumpy. They're doing an excellent service to the community but be warned! 😁
grinchy57: Since Covid-19 it's only open to paying customers. Why not to the public? Our wonderful Govr opened gardening up. Are we going to catch covid-19 from compost? We won't catch it from.other people halt anyone there.
Sarah: Absolutely phenomenal compost, so much better than the box store bags and at a better price point too.
Robert Jamieson: They have great compost just wish they'd mention that their front end loader and workers basically quit at 3:30. I left work and rushed to make it by 4 got there at 3:35 they wouldn't load me. Their site says open till 4. Very dissatisfied that I fought traffic to be denied in such a way.
Han Wang: Best place in Rochester hills area to get compost, and it is FREE for rochester resident.
Robin Smith: Love that they put this much recycling in place for the residents, this is your reward for recycling!
AJ Danielson: You can drop off leaves and grass clippings, and also pick up compost for a small fee.
