Jim Wilpula: I was having issues with SSD on my PC being overloaded and I brought it in for Leo to take a look at. He was able to quickly identify why the drive was at capacity, recommended two fix scenarios, and then had my PC back to me by the end of the day. The price was super reasonable, Leo was knowledgeable, and was straight up with me. The next time that we have any computer issues we'll be taking our computers to Startec no doubt!

Helped me with both my laptop repair and hooked me up with an awesome iPad repair tech who I would have gone to for a full screen repair. So honest with me.. they did a couple of tests first and got it fixed with no repair even needed. Mark Pasik: Better than a Big Box store…. no waits, no sending your product to the manufacturer, and you are treated like a person. This place is great, and a fraction of the cost of Best Buy. Leo was terrific on the phone, and meeting him in person I was treated like the most important customer in his world. I needed my old computer updated, and for less than half of what others wanted, and treatment like I was the only person in his life…. my old computer is now like new in only a day. He is local, he is good, and his prices are more than fair. Thanks Leo!!!
Donald Peters: I couldn't get my 7+ year old computer to work properly and it shut down my business. I went to 3 stores to diagnose the problem. All said I simply needed a new computer and I would also have to upgrade all of my software. The total charge would cost around $2,000.00. I went to another store and their computer tech told me to go talk to Leo at Startec. Leo told me I did not need a new computer, nor did I need to update my current software other than windows which he updated for me. He replaced my hard-drive, updated my operating system, saved and reinstalled all of my software, reconfigured everything, and got me up and running perfectly again in my business in 1 day for a total of $340.00 saving me over $1600.00. This guy has ethics and is a real gentleman.

When I picked up the desktop, he spent a great deal of time pointing out the newer technology and how to effectively use it. My favorite tip is how to disable my internet connection with a few clicks instead of unplugging my CAT6 cable each time I step away!I am now the proud owner of a lightning-fast desktop. Leo graciously answered questions about the desktop once I got it home. He takes pride in building computers with quality parts that will last. TayDaKiss: If you ever need any repair to your mobile device it look no further!!! I needed my probe cleaned on my IPhone and was cleaned less than 10 minutes!!! That’s just the good the part the great part is that it was for FREE!!! Yes you read that right, for free!!!! Other places will charge you about 50 bucks. If you’re in the Sterling Heights area come in and see Tyler he’ll take good care of you!

I took my phone to the Van Dyke location and spoke with Donny and he was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. AB Sandhu: I came in to get my Google Pixel 6 Pro's screen replaced. When I called earlier, the person answering the phone was quick and attentive. I stopped by after work and I was stunned by the due diligence, friendliness, and effort put in by Jake, the gentleman working there. The price wasn't too bad, the price for the screen usually runs about $200 without adhesive type or tools to repair the phone, so $300 is not bad for service plus 1-year warranty included.Again, I was so surprised by how quick they were. They had all replacement parts on hand. I came in after work and they were able to have it done by 7pm. Definitely go here if you have smartphone repairs.Edit: I dropped my phone again, and I'm glad I returned to the store! I felt very well taken care of!
Leontra Murphy: Highly disappointed at the morals of this organization. I purchased a new screen from this company just 2 months ago. The store manager told me there was a year warranty on the screen and that was all. The screen started to malfunction and I took it back in for repair with the warranty I was told I had. When arriving to the store the rep informed me the phone could not be repaired because there was physical damage to the phone. I informed the rep I was not made aware there were terms to the condition the phone had to be in to be covered under warranty. I then asked to speak with a manager who sent a piece of paper with corporate number and said ‘he was busy’. At the point I could not have the phone repaired that would have been fine but it was about the disrespect of the manager not coming to speak with a paying customer who asked for him. Business decency is none existent now days. I have never had such rude behavior occur. I will not be back to this establishment.
