Joe's Quality Construction: what do users think?
P V: Their phone number listed is not operational
trevor harnden: Had a small job they did get it done in a timely matter, and they did it properly which I am super appreciative for. The price I felt like was fair, and staff was really nice. The downside they didn't communicate very well, told me they would call in the morning, and just kinda showed up later in the morning and said they'd fix it. The problem was none was home and they threw cigarettes and left chunks of stryofoam in the yard. Just wish they would've cleaned up better.
Theodore Zimmerman: If you need work done.... Give Joe I'll call and they will get on it very good quality people!!!!!!!
Don Hallop: Depends who shows up
Clare Hickman: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueIt is always a joy to have Joe's Quality do work on the church building. The teams are professional; the work is excellent; and there's a great level of communication and responsiveness. I recommend them highly!Services:General construction,Tile work installation,Remodeling,Flooring,Drywall installation,Roof repair,Interior painting
Mike Bugg: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ResponsivenessSaid they would be here between 8 and 9, and showed up at 8 on the dot. Person answering the phone was helpful and polite. Person who came out to fix my ceiling did a great job and can't even see where the whole was after he was all done. Will definitely be using their service again.Service:Drywall installation
Brian Mikulka: I used this company for a insurance job in 2014. A tree landed on my house. They had to rebuild part of the roof structure and reroofed the entire house in November. In the summer of 2015 the roof developed a leak. They had to come back for a patch job and take care of the ceiling that was damaged by water. Now on August 1st of 2020, the roof is leaking again in the same area. Called and left a message with no call back as of yet. Very disappointed to have 2 leaks in the roof That’s only about 5 years old.Services:General construction,Drywall repair
Mike Jones: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Matthew Maes: Honest people who keep their word and do what they say they’re going to do. That quality’s hard to find in this day and age.
Frank Morisette: Very clean and organized. People are very friendly and willing to help you.
Joe Fawaz: I am writing to you today to commend your very fine employee, Mr. AL,, As you know, when a fire impacts your life, the world becomes a very harsh reality, even when you are insured. Mr. Al,, deserves to be noted as a perfect example of what a representative for your company should be, and I wish to elaborate on this point.Mr. Al,, has gone the extra mile for every unit owner at the Chestnut Hill rebuild project. In my case, he has supported my efforts with AAA insurance and has been a strong advocate in ensuring that my coverage was maximized and included. I am the only unit owner who had an 8 foot Pella slider door and he continues to work with Rich James to have this oversight corrected. Not many project managers would do this. He is very compassionate and understanding to the victims of the fire and this human touch makes him, and your company a superstar in my book!!He was willing to calmly explain the delays in starting the rebuild and communicated the progress as efficiently as possible. He has been easily accessible and timely in his follow up. He obviously performs his research in policy coverage and obtaining price negotiations for requested options for the units and without his input, my unit would be unsatisfactory as allowed by my insurance company. It was Mr. Al,,who successfully communicated with my adjuster…..that wasn’t me….Al has negotiated the details of this rebuild with extreme excellence and expertise, and I believe that he deserves to be rewarded for his efforts. It is a rarity in life that you meet a man with such kindness and integrity and you are fortunate to have him on your staff. Please….Send him to the Caribbean…..or Cabo San Lucas…..or…….he earned a huge vacation with this project!! I feel fortunate to have met him as he has restored my faith in the human race!!Respectfully Submitted,Kathleen , XXXXXXKathleen , RN, BSN, CHCQMCertified Case ManagerXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Jon C.: This is a top notch Home Improvement company! Well rounded in all your home maintenance needs.
Kacilee Legato: Awesome quality business!! Honest and truthful and great prices with timely work done.
Jacob Fawaz: Highly recommend it’s the best and always will be
Catherine LaChance: I’m so happy I found these guys! They came out the day I called, gave a very fair estimate and really worked to help me and keep it in our budget. They came out the next morning and fixed our roof quickly. They were all so nice and helpful. I will hire them for all future projects!!!!
Chuck Darghali: Best contractors out there! Amazing staff
jake fawaz: THE BEST
Charles Bradfield: They do excellent work
Nathan Erskine Smith: Dangerous and careless workers - this company was contracted to replace gutters at my condo. They broke items and created a very dangerous situation by throwing 20' sections of gutter two stories down and throwing tools off of the roof where people walk.
Sean O'Brien: Joe's quality is the best. We have had them out to our house for several jobs. The workers are always extremely professional and do an amazing job.
J. Patrick Spencer: I had Joe fix my roof that caused damage to my ceilings. They came out promptly and gave a fair estimate. He handled the insurance company issues as well. He also let me know that they are available for emergency calls. Great job Joe.

Four Seasons Sunrooms: what do users think?
MarVince Hill: Paid around $30,000 for a complete sunroom and it took over 5 months to complete during Covid. We were understanding about delays with material but now that the room is completely up the cement is cracking up after 4 months & the roof is leaking in 2 spots. Very disappointed with the build. Been texting Tom about it for months now to have the roof repaired or sealed where it leaks in. Try another company for a sunroom unless you have time to deal with issues like this….Service:Remodeling
Allen Matyas: Almost 6 months after it was done I had a leak and Tom came right out and fixed it. I think he did a nice job. My only complaint is the deck makes popping noises in the winter. We are thinking of redoing it in cedar instead of this expensive fake wood. We got rid of the plastic popping noises finally. We replaced the entire deck with cedar and love it now. I would consider buying another sun room with Four Seasons, but not decking.
Dan Bommarito: Positive:Professionalism,QualityVery helpful in guiding us to make a decision, many options to choose and no pressure in selling. Definitely recommend
Jesus Trujillo: Terrible experience for me! - I submitted a request for a quote online, and the next day I was contacted over email to set up an appointment. A week later a rep showed up for the appointment to take measurements, hear our ideas and give recommendations for a quote and now it's been almost 2 months since and I haven't received a quote! Only the first couple of emails were actually typed. After that my email has been getting spammed with template emails to which I have respond in numerous occasions asking for an actual update, and yet again I get another template email totally disregarding my questions. I have called, and left messages and no response either. I have asked to be removed from the email list and I keep getting spam. - Terrible customer service! I am actually glad they didn't do my project. If they can't even answer a simple question like (WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY QUOTE) I can't imagine the nightmare it would have been having them work on my project.
L.A. Bowes: It's been a few years since Tom's team came out to build a replacement sunroom for me. I had been away from the house a couple of days, to tend to family business, and I came home to find a shattered glass window on the roof of my sunroom. Tom had his men out within an hour from my call! The guys got right to work and the completed the job promptly. They were professional, conscientious, and very pleasant. I would highly recommend Advanced Builders, and Tom's crew. They are clearly good people, and they care about their product even after you've paid for the original work.
long chang: My wife and I really enjoy the new sunroom. Tom and his work team did an excellent job.
Sharon Patrick: Working with Tom at Four Seasons was a pleasant experience. We did get other quotations but none compared with the product quality and design for the quoted price. Tom knows his product so you can confidently rely on his recommendations and quotation to be accurate and complete. The installers are experienced and professional; the job was completed within the expected time frame. This project was just recently completed, but all indications are that it is a quality product and will perform as expected. We are pleased with the result and feel we chose the best company for this job.
Laurie LoCascio: We chose Tom, of Advanced Builders, over the competition because he was honest, straight-forward, and accommodating. His crew and specialists were very knowledgeable, thorough, and approachable. They truly cared about the final product being exactly what we needed and wanted.
Sabrina B: Nice staff but my part was so expensive for my window.
Amy Florek: Had them come out for a free estimate. I had another contractor working on our home while the “designer” was there. The contractor overheard our conversation and made a comment on how he didn’t let me finish my thoughts when speaking with him. I felt the same exact way. Once he showed me the quote and I said it was higher then expected he was gone within 2 minutes. He was supposed to email me a copy of the quote and he never did. Quote was at $41,000 my budget was at $35,000 he didn’t offer ways to cut down on the pricing to better fit my budget. Do not waste your time with this company unless you like to be talked over and disrespected.
michael shukwit: Advance Builders did a great job re-glazing Historic Elmwood Cemeteries mausoleum skylights
Steve Brown: Extremely dissappointed and would not recommend. We chose to use Advanced Builders to put a LifeRoom on our home in the beautiful lakefront of St Clair Shores after seeing various ads about this new style of “indoor outdoor” entertaining space. We really fell in love with the privacy that the electronic screens seemed to offer and protection from the sometimes high winds. However, we should have done more research on this “building company” before signing on the dotted line. We made the decision to purchase this 22K+ glorified screened in patio because let’s face it, it sounded awesome, but boy were we mistaken. Not only did the salesman (who we haven’t seen since the day he sold us this unit and collection 15K in deposits)... promise it would be ordered and installed in 6 weeks; keep in mind we ordered in May of this year but the unit itself wasn’t even installed till mid August, red flag number 1. Then, it took at least a total of 4 weeks for them to install the unit in “full”...Even though they said the install should only take 3-4 days to put up; red flag #2. Immediately after install we were not satisfied with the overall quality of craftsmanship that the unit had. Chalk job was awful and not even complete, seams were joined together by painted pieces (not even color matched) of sheet metal with proud large bolts sticking out of the frame and the accent trim work was bent all over. We called their office to ask if the guys were coming back (after not seeing on the job site for a few more days) and we were informed the job was complete. We explained the visual concerns and a contractor came out to “fix” it, which visually ended up looking like a awful bandaid; red flag #3. Quickly after this, we got some rain and the unit started to leaked all over our new sectional and dining table set, that was purchased specifically for this entertaining space. We called Tom (the owners) office and they said they would send someone out after it stopped raining; even though I’d think you’d want to send someone out to see (while it’s raining) where it’s leaking, but that’s just my business mindset, obviously not theirs. They did send a contractor out to add more awful sloppy chalk to the roof of the unit and said it was fixed. This story continues, so brace yourself. The unit has programmable screens... four in total to be exact. Three which are fully programmed and a fourth which they couldn’t figure out how to get in the same program as the other three. Said they’d fix it and never did. Well, one of the screens went past the “fail proof” stop and ended up getting sucked up into the mechanism/ motor. The same chalk contractor came out and used a pry bar on aluminum to get to the motor to grab the screen!!! Ugh...Enough said... but at least he fixed it. But.... soon after that, it rained again!!!! Guess what!!!! The roof leaked. We called Toms office again and the secretary said Tom was busy and was very quick the mention “oh by the way... you have a balance (a few thousand dollars) that needs to be paid” on the unit. We informed her that we would be happy to pay as soon as the leaks are fixed. Needless to say, they continued to avoid us and never came back out to fix the leaks; which in total were three separate leaks, at that time. Well, we all know how Metro Detroit’s fall has been like this year and guess what, it’s raining again...but now there is 7 total leak points. 7!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Buyer beware!!! We continue to place calls to this company with zero actual actions or intent to fix the problems that we have with the unit, so that we actually feel satisfied and just pay them their small balance. However, I think I can speak for every consumer, I will never pay for a product or service in full that refuses to fix and correct their errors. This company is just so sad! Save your money, folks! Let’s see if this review gets deleted or at least a comment back from Tom, since I see he seems to ‘Thank’ people who are posting great reviews about services and additions done over 20 years ago...
Reynold Sagert: Advanced Builders added two sun rooms to the rear (west side ) of our house in spring of 1996. One room is a 9 x 13 metal frame room that used as a green room for starting & caring for various plants & flowers. The second room is a 15 x 22 wood framedroom that is used for dining, reading & entertaining. Both rooms are built well & are heated & air conditioned for year round use. There have been occasional problems with the rooms but Tom Leininger of Advanced Builders has worked hard to solve & correct them.Tom has always done his best to resolve any concern we may have.We have enjoyed the use of the rooms for 20 years. We are pleased that we chose Advanced Builders to build the rooms.
Edward Macha: We have really enjoyed our sunroom. It is great to sit in the room and enjoy the view and the sun and breeze without the bugs. Even been in the sunroom during storms and the strong construction withstands the wind and rain very well and you feel very secure. During construction, Tom was out on almost a daily basis checking on things and ensuring we were happy and things were done right. I would recommend Tom and Advanced Builders .
Lisa z: Really appreciate Tom and his worker coming out on a Saturday to fix some leaks. They did a great job! We really enjoy our Four Season atrium!
B. David Grice: I do not recommend this company to anyone! I paid $32,000 to enclose a back deck, and after a year of them fixing poor workmanship, it started leaking the very first winter. I have leaks everytime it rains, and Tom the owner of Advanced Builders will no longer attempt to fix the leaks, saying my "warranty" has expired!Beware!
