Dani Hort: Apparently they aren't used to people of color shopping here. From the moment I came in, it was pretty much "What are you looking for" and constantly watching me. Other customers were not watched like that. First time here and won't be back to this location. As a licensed stylist I like to shop for hair products and not be followed. Sally's is like TARGET for stylists. I shortened my trip to under 5 minutes because of this. Hopefully this location will do better with their customer service.

Rizpah Gray: The lady working behind the counter on 5/11/22 at 4:30pm was very rude. I came up to the counter to ask a question and she instantly cut me off saying “I haven’t clocked in yet, you gotta give me a minute ”and then walked off. When she came back she rudely told me I wasn’t suppose to be behind the counter looking at the makeup. She rudely yelled “excuse me ma’am, you can’t be behind the counter, now how may I help you”. I told her there was no sign that said that so how was I suppose to know and then told her never mind because she was very rude. I didn’t even realize I was “behind the counter” because there is nothing blocking customers from going beside the register counter, it’s all open area so I thought it was okay to look at the product. It’s a way you speak to customers and the way she did was very rude and disrespectful . She acted like she didn’t want to help me from the beginning. I’ve never been treated rudely at the Mac counter located inside somerset mall. Because of this poor experience I do not want to come back to this location for MAC makeup.

Notch Johnson: The MAC Cosmetics store is inside Macy's at Lakeside Mall. I was buying a gift for my wife. Three days before Christmas and no one was working the MAC counter. I was told to find someone that was working the general cosmetics at Macy's. After a while of waiting I went behind the counter and grabbed the item myself and brought it to a regular register. No service, no help, and no special MAC bag. I will never go back to this location.

Trisia Smith: I bought 2 packs of crochet butterfly locs (17.99 each pack) from here the day before. The next day I tried to install 2 locs and couldn't even install them because both locs unraveled while trying to crochet them on.I took both packs back the next day to exchange or store credit because I knew he wouldn't give me a refund. The "owner" refused to exchange the hair and offered store credit for one pack because I had opened the other pack and now he can't resell the hair (even though both packs were opened and I had shown him how horrible the quality of hair was to even consider reselling)I attempted to put the hair back in the pack so he would let me exchange the hair and he told me "Ms that's not gonna work" and refused to let me exchange the other pack, take store credit or even have the number to the corporate office.He only finally allowed me to exchange the hair store credit after I refused to leave and threatened to call the police. Then he told me take my business elsewhere like I did something wrong to him and continued to scold me because he could not resale the pack of horrible quality hair that I opened. Kelly beauty supply on Van Dyke near 11 mile , has a bigger selection and better quality hair.UPDATE: The owner responds to my review stating that he didn't know what type of hair to carry but as a paying, respectful customer I was constantly scolded because he could not resell the hair because it was out the pack even after I told him several times it was poor quality. I guess selling horrible hair is more important than keeping respectful, paying customers. I guess he's saying if you want quality hair, Kelly beauty supply is your best bet.

My hubby ( with great intentions)bleached my brunette daughters hair of course causing it to turn bright orange. 3 days before school started. We went to Sally's asking for help SHANNON was amazing! She told us exactly what we needed to do and helped us pick out what we needed to fix it. I'm happy to say that she came out with a dark natural blind color and cute teal streaks in the front. Michael Mullen: My experience with Accents Cosmetic Surgery was great. I was hesitant at first at making the decision to make a appointment for a consultation but I’m glad I did! All the staff was really friendly and understanding on my giving situation. Maria was my patient care coordinator and was the first person I met out of all the staff, she walked me through step by step of pre and post operations and made sure I was well understood on what the procedure would be like before, during, and how the recovery process would be. By the end of the consultation I felt comfortable moving forward with the desired procedure I wanted done. Dr. Berkowitz is a straight forward guy and wouldn’t steer you in the wrong direction. I’m currently on day 6 post procedure and everything is going according to plan looking forward on seeing results in the near future!

erica d: If I could give less than one star, I probably would. I am 29 and did a lot of research for where I wanted to get work done since it was my first time and accents seemed very promising. However, from start to finish, it proved to be less than. The staff, minus like two people, lacked any bedside manners or personality. Everyone was actually kind of rude and snobby.. The rooms weren't impressive either, but I was hoping none of this was a reflection of their work, so I moved forward with the consultation. I was talked into a package of syringes (I think 6) for $4,500. I had quite a bit placed during that visit, but when I came back for my follow up, I asked for more to be placed because the results were less than satisfactory. I'll admit that I had a lot to correct and they did get me to a semi-decent baseline I guess. Anyways, I went back for more filler and Botox pretty frequently, but always had to ask for more during my follow ups because it just didn't seem like it was working the way it should've.. After a few Botox treatments, I was noticing I had to go back a lot sooner than what was typical. The lines were going away and smoothing out, but it didn't last long at all. They said you want to do it every 3-5 months, but I felt like it was dissolving much more rapidly... I spoke to a few other people who were more familiar with this since I am still so new to it, and they all agreed that my results shouldn't be wearing off so quickly. My most recent appointment to have Botox injections was October 27th and I had a follow up 3 weeks after (where I again asked for more because it wasn't looking right.. one side of my forehead was frozen while the other side still had the same lines..) and it is now December 20th and I'm already in need of more.. with all of that being said, I found a new place where the prices are so much more reasonable, the people are all friendly and don't mind talking with you to answer questions, the building is very well kept and clean and I am actually happy with my results. I will never go back to accents nor recommend them to anyone as they are a huge rip off and do not take care of the patient/customer. I'd save my money and go elsewhere. Spent quite a bit of money there that I wish I hadn't, but I guess you "live and learn" 🙄😑.
