Rizpah Gray: The lady working behind the counter on 5/11/22 at 4:30pm was very rude. I came up to the counter to ask a question and she instantly cut me off saying “I haven’t clocked in yet, you gotta give me a minute ”and then walked off. When she came back she rudely told me I wasn’t suppose to be behind the counter looking at the makeup. She rudely yelled “excuse me ma’am, you can’t be behind the counter, now how may I help you”. I told her there was no sign that said that so how was I suppose to know and then told her never mind because she was very rude. I didn’t even realize I was “behind the counter” because there is nothing blocking customers from going beside the register counter, it’s all open area so I thought it was okay to look at the product. It’s a way you speak to customers and the way she did was very rude and disrespectful . She acted like she didn’t want to help me from the beginning. I’ve never been treated rudely at the Mac counter located inside somerset mall. Because of this poor experience I do not want to come back to this location for MAC makeup.

Notch Johnson: The MAC Cosmetics store is inside Macy's at Lakeside Mall. I was buying a gift for my wife. Three days before Christmas and no one was working the MAC counter. I was told to find someone that was working the general cosmetics at Macy's. After a while of waiting I went behind the counter and grabbed the item myself and brought it to a regular register. No service, no help, and no special MAC bag. I will never go back to this location.

Dani Hort: Apparently they aren't used to people of color shopping here. From the moment I came in, it was pretty much "What are you looking for" and constantly watching me. Other customers were not watched like that. First time here and won't be back to this location. As a licensed stylist I like to shop for hair products and not be followed. Sally's is like TARGET for stylists. I shortened my trip to under 5 minutes because of this. Hopefully this location will do better with their customer service.

My hubby ( with great intentions)bleached my brunette daughters hair of course causing it to turn bright orange. 3 days before school started. We went to Sally's asking for help SHANNON was amazing! She told us exactly what we needed to do and helped us pick out what we needed to fix it. I'm happy to say that she came out with a dark natural blind color and cute teal streaks in the front. Fantastic personal service! Couldn't be happier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Trisia Smith: I bought 2 packs of crochet butterfly locs (17.99 each pack) from here the day before. The next day I tried to install 2 locs and couldn't even install them because both locs unraveled while trying to crochet them on.I took both packs back the next day to exchange or store credit because I knew he wouldn't give me a refund. The "owner" refused to exchange the hair and offered store credit for one pack because I had opened the other pack and now he can't resell the hair (even though both packs were opened and I had shown him how horrible the quality of hair was to even consider reselling)I attempted to put the hair back in the pack so he would let me exchange the hair and he told me "Ms that's not gonna work" and refused to let me exchange the other pack, take store credit or even have the number to the corporate office.He only finally allowed me to exchange the hair store credit after I refused to leave and threatened to call the police. Then he told me take my business elsewhere like I did something wrong to him and continued to scold me because he could not resale the pack of horrible quality hair that I opened. Kelly beauty supply on Van Dyke near 11 mile , has a bigger selection and better quality hair.UPDATE: The owner responds to my review stating that he didn't know what type of hair to carry but as a paying, respectful customer I was constantly scolded because he could not resell the hair because it was out the pack even after I told him several times it was poor quality. I guess selling horrible hair is more important than keeping respectful, paying customers. I guess he's saying if you want quality hair, Kelly beauty supply is your best bet.
