Heather Lathers: In contacting the small claims division with questions, I got a snotty, impatient, condescending voice on the other end-- you know, the kind that makes you feel like you're back in seventh grade. The woman was curt and dismissive, and no one calling "the system" for help needs that kind of treatment although we've all come to expect it. Shame on these kinds of organizations for their feigned superiority and lack of patience for us civilians who might need information. Sad.

Sundaram: For some reason, police department here means catching people who violate traffic laws & make them pay. Seems like they don't protect people from all the violence's happening. Anyway, its interesting I got a ticket with a point & fine of $115. After appearing in the court, the point was removed but the fee went up crazy. Best part is on that particular when I appeared in the court, pretty much all the folks ended up with the same fee, which doesn't make any sense.

Andrea Bos: They took my boyfriend in yesterday, the day before Thanksgiving on a 4 year old warrant that they never even contacted him on. He was in jail n got out in April and they said we'll contact you. Someone smashes into him yesterday all messed up n my boyfriend was the only one arrested. They should be ashamed of themselves!! The officer said he's not booked in yet, we're really busy today. Pos.

Even tho I am not a criminal wasn't there for myself, they didnt make you feel like one or like you are below them. Like other courts I've been to have.

Tim Leahy: I received a traffic ticket that i had corrected by an officer. When i went in to pay the other half of the ticket, the cashier said i had to show proof. The officer signed off on it so i dont understand why i would have to show her anything. It was a waivable offense. I looked up their policy and it says nothing about me having to prove anything of that nature to them. The lady was very arrogant and i ended up having to make a court date for something that should took 2 minutes. Now i have to take another day off work. Its easy to see why they have such low reviews. Shelby Police are on par but it seems like shelby court hired people who didnt graduate highschool. Highly unsatisfied!
