The lobster bisque was nice thick and creamy that’s how I LOVE the soup to be especially when it comes to creamy soups. I will tell everyone to try Red Crab Juicy Seafood!

chelsea anderson: The food was awesome! The quality was great, very fresh, and the seasoning was on point! I was a bit frustrated that they had a special going on on their website Mon- Thurs (I went on a Wed), however when I asked the server, I was told they changed it to Just Mon and Tues and wouldn't honor it, though admitting they hadn't updated their website. Had I not driven 45 min, I would have left. However, for the sake of having enjoyed my meal, I'm glad I stayed. Definitely check them out, but if going for a special they offer on their site, I'd call before going.

I know it's a seafood boil, but at least give it to me on a dry plate. It is really expensive, and that's the biggest reason I wasn't happy about my order being wrong (was charged for 2 pounds of food instead of the 1 I ordered).The hush puppies were ok, but dry.

We tried the crab and shrimp boil with Cajun seasoning, and it was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the seasoning was just the right amount of spicy. We also tried the lobster tail, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and we left feeling very satisfied.The service at The Hook and Reel was also really great. Our server was attentive and friendly, and she made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We also appreciated that the staff took the time to explain the menu to us and answer any questions that we had.Overall, I would highly recommend The Hook and Reel in Shelby Township.
