MEGAN McCOMB: I love this shop/dive school! Bruno the owner is an amazing man full of diving knowledge! Lynn is an absolute sweet heart...I have endless questions and she never get annoyed with me lol! Brian the Instructor is the absolute best! He has such an impressive dive history, he is so thorough in his training. I feel 100% confident in my decision to train at Bruno’s and with his crew! Thank you everyone for this wonderful experience and helping me open a whole new path of adventures!
Frank Schmid: Whether I come in for my scuba or hockey needs, Bruno and his team always take excellent care of me. Great environment, awesome prices, sharp skates. I initially got certified through the shop and have been coming back ever since. Thank you
Dan Eckert: Best skate guy in the business! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend you come here! Great people!
David Brodacki: Bruno is old schooll which is a very good thing. The only person in Michigan that knows how to properly sharpen hockey skates. His years of experience will be obvious once he takes care of your needs. He sellls Graf, the best of the best. See him for your needs. Great guy.
Jordan “J.Alexander91” Alexander: Just got my 3rd pair of skates from Bruno. Highly recommended. Good attention to detail. He definitely knows his stuff! Very happy
Robert smoyer: Best person to have touch your skates in Detroit area. Very knowledgeable.
Tommy Morris: Wet suits starting at $29 and staff is experienced, knowledgable. Glad I was referred to this place.
Daisy Henk: WOW! What a great place to find exactly want you needed and at a great price. The two ladys that helped us really paid attention to our wants and hooked us up with great deals. I will recommend this company to all my friends family, and even strangers. I would rate them a 100 stars out of 5 if i could.
Michael Oakley: Great guy to know, I've never had such a great sharpen on my skate. The enviroment he has in the store is amazing. I would recommend going here for your every daily hockey needs.
Mark K: Best skate sharpener ever, he sharpens both my player skates and goalie skates, don't go anywhere else or you'll be doing yourself a disservice.
Robert G: Best skate sharpener ever!
Mya Schultz: Shopping for scuba needs just have questions this is the place that will treat you right.
Chris Dixon: I was hesitant with the distance from me in Flint for our compressor needs, but now Bruno is the only shop I go to. Service is fantastic and it's great dealing with someone you feel is genuine when making a deal even on a hand shake.
charles darwin: Wonderful selection of dive gear, especially wet suits! My kids have had such a great experience getting certified and selecting all of their gear. It was well worth the drive for us. They had tried the Try Scuba class with my wife and I a year before, and absolutely loved it. So this summer decided to get certified.I was grateful for the amazing patience of the dive instructors with my kids learning all the skills to become certified. And especially the patient and knowledgeable staff for helping us in selecting their gear that they are comfortable with. The class and gear was far less expensive than I had estimated.Other notes:-They have an ON-SITE POOL...it is always warm, 82-84 degrees-Kids did the on-line video/material at home which was fun and interesting to them-- and it's FREE from their website (links right to SSI site)-My kids never at any time felt overwhelmed, or rushed. The instructor always checked to make sure that they were comfortable. We were not limited by number of pool classes or a schedule -- the instructor instead scheduled additional classes for my younger son so he was completely comfortable!!-They explained different dive sites available and allowed the kids to choose their sites to be certified... they chose two amazing sites!!-The instructor takes his time explaining, and shares so many of his experiences... this vicarious learning has been amazing for them.-It was always fun!

Sea-Side Dive Shop Inc: what do users think?
Steven Kinney: Great fully stocked shop. Friendly staff. Excellent prices! This is my go to shop!
Wally Kolcz: I have been wanting to learn to scuba for a few years and finally pulled the trigger this year. After doing some research I called Sea-Side to ask about classes and lessons and they were very friendly. I went in to sign up and ended up buying almost all my gear there. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made purchasing gear easy and I am very happy with my kit.Took the online course and just had my 2 confined dives last weekend. My instructors, Sue and her husband Jeff, were amazing and made time in and under the water both fun and educational. I could not have asked for better instructors and I can’t wait to do my open water next month. They taught me a lot and answered all questions I had. You can really tell they both care about their students and the sport. In my opinion, this is the best dive shop you can pick to start your scuba journey. Excellent prices and selection of gear, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and excellent training. I couldn’t be happier with my choice for training and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
Geoff Donaldson: Excellent service as always. Looking forward to getting back to dive travel soon! If you’re on the East Side - come see the gang at Seaside for sure…
Mike Carter: Finally bit the bullet we’re going to take dive lessons and staff here was excellent helped us work through everything price is reasonable
Jim Horlocker: Great shop with a knowledgeable staff. Come take a class and get in the water!
Tom Hayes: Had my gear serviced here. They are very knowledgeable. Now to go down to Aruba for some diving.
John Hagen: Great people, great training! Highly recommended!
Captain Christopher Kourtakis: Hidden gem with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
mike c: Love this place! Awesome staff, selection, they've special ordered for me and the instructors are great!
Chad: Got certified for my open water from here some years ago. Great experience. Love diving now. Got all my gear here like 15 years ago and it all is holding up just fine.
Mark French: Gear and air for your diving needs.
Katarina Ferrero: As a brand new diver with no previous experience or really any information about diving, I can say that I feel completely comfortable and secure while being in the water! So far I’ve completed my open water certification, and looking into going further. My instructor was Scuba Steve, who was extremely thorough in the classroom, confined dives, and open water dives. Although there is a lot of information at first to learn- I actually feel like I’ve learned it! That was a huge plus. Sea Side itself was very flexible with my schedule and offered a few different options. They were honest about what I needed and what I didn’t- which was really appreciated! One thing is I wish there was more communication of what the plan was once you’ve registered for the confined and open water dive weekends, as I felt a little in the dark until just before the weekend started. Nice to know, but not a deal breaker! Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to continue my certifications!
Craig McC: I started going here after moving to Saint Clair Shores. Very nice little shop and I really like the service I get here, and they also have great hours 6 days a week for those of us that work a lot. I like the way they always give my tanks a good fill 😊. Stop in and see some of the cool stuff on display that came out of the St Clair river , a great place to dive right in our back yard that I was introduced to through this shop . Full service dive shop in the shores , support your local dive shop and stop in and see them.

Advanced Aquatics Diving Inc: what do users think?
Kyle: Great instructors, great time. Purchased gear from Mike. Would highly recommend!
Ray Socia: Great scuba diving instructors. Mike and Ken are patient in their instruction and teaching. I have my AOW through them. Taking the enriched air (nitrox) tomorrow. You will feel comfortable and safe with the skills they teach.
Neepa Patel: Extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend paying in advance for classes. He canceled a lesson the day before it was scheduled and would not refund the money for over 2 months despite multiple phone calls and reminders. Very rude and unprofessional.
Michael Robert Baskins: 6 monthes later, still don't have my certificate of completion, very disorganized

Vincent Ramirez: Dive master Mario was top notch and beyond patient and very educational even tho I still call fins flippers hehe he did not hesitate to share his knowledge for certain brands that he stood behind.I am a big guy and he was very accommodating with larger sizes. The classes were direct and location was great for dives. I definitely plan on getting my ni-trox certificate thru Dive master Mario
C M: Just completed our open water certification yesterday with Mario. We were able to explore some boats and even a snowmobile at the bottom of Stoney Lake. Great experience with a great instructor!

Rec Diving Travel: what do users think?
Andrea Kirkwood: Thank you Diane (owner) and Rec Diving Blue Chip Travel for your presentation to our R.O. Schools kids! You demonstrated scuba gear, spoke about the beauty of the worlds oceans and sea creatures and gave our kids a sense of being there! You brought our Virtual Field Trip to the Coral Reef home! 40 kids now have a greater respect & understanding of why we need to protect our oceans!
J L: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueJim and Diane run a top notch operation. They have been courteous, professional and have bent over backwards to accommodate my daughter with getting her certification. They even got her in for a refresher dive during COVID. I highly recommend them.
Dave Posh: Always been a great and friendly place to go.Dive trips have always been fun.
Todd Cricelli: Love this place! I have been diving for about 3 years now, and have been with Rec Diving and Blue Chip Travel from the beginning! I am now a Master Diver and have enjoyed every step of the process. From beginners classes, to advanced certifications, I have always felt I was in good hands with the Rec Diving team. The trips that the travel agency has helped me plan have been full of opportunities that most people never get to experience. The staff is amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my diving needs. Can't wait to embark on my next adventure (Indonesia) with Rec Diving!
David Kasper: The standard for snorkeling and dive travel in the Midwest. Whenever I'm thinking about going tropical, talking to Rec Diving and Diane is the best place to start. When possible, the group trips are my preference because the leader takes care of everything and the other people are fun to hang around. I also get my gear there . . . just upgraded my fins to a nice set of Scubapro Twin Jet Max with the spring heels.
Chris Robinson: Fantastic place. They planned a trip for my fiancé and I that was incredible! Diane and Taylor took care of everything. From airfare and resort bookings, to our excursions on and off the island. (at no cost to us!) I highly recommend.
nancy przeklas: I stopped in the store today to check out prescription goggles and Diane was the most helpful person ever. She took her time with me to get the correct lens strength and made sure I knew everything about my purchase. Would HIGHLY recommend this store for all your water needs.
Dave Bradley: I have been a certified diver for 36 years . All my training was thru Rec Diving. By far the best dive shop I have been to. Their love of diving shows. They are family friendly and offer a scuba ranger program for kids 8 years and older. All 3 of my kids were certified thru Rec Diving. They treat their clients like family. They have planned many dive trips for my family and all have been great.I'm a big fan of Rec Diving
Taylor Bradley: I have always felt very at home at the Rec Diving store. The staff is very friendly, attentive and knowledgable. You can really tell they love what they do and want to share the amazing dive experience with you. Not only are they great at helping you find what you need, booking trips and servicing your gear but their classes are amazing. The instructors are super patient and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and have the best experience possible. This dive shop is truly one of a kind and I couldn't image going anywhere else.
Bill Bovensiep: Terrible, went in to buy a burst disc and sure got a lesson about how I am not a technician and could not possibly be as educated as this man. I explained 26 years ago I was treated this was and considered it to be due to my young age. Now in my 40’s it seems the only constant is, Rec Dive is still rude and condescending. For anyone not experienced in diving I would not recommend going to this place. If you like them your perception is probably due to your inexperience and they feed on that. When approached by someone that will not take them at face value you will find the attitude changes and you too will be enlighten to a culture of arrogance. It is my intention to not only write this review but to tell everyone, do not spend your money in this store.
Karl Lund: I have shopped and traveled with Rec Diving for almost 40 years....I have watched them deal with the whole range of divers from novice to professionals and they have always gone out of their way to provide the equipment and service that is appropriate for each individual. It's a great store!!
