On one occasion the staff called me and cancelled my exam less than 12 hours in advance, the second time they threatened to close early if I didn’t show up 3 hours before my scheduled exam time. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Go to ANY other location if this is an important test you are taking.

Evan Baker: Prometric is terrible in general. Slow and crashes when online. Then they cancelled my test the day off, at the Troy location. I was already in Troy, stayed there the night before and they canceled in the middle of the night! Who does that? How’s that even legal?! Horrible terrible customer service!!!!

I understand circumstances happen, but I would have expected a company as large as this would have contingency plans for such things. Especially given the importance of these exams that we're forced to take by our certifying bodies, and this company having a monopoly over these exams.Once I was finally able to reschedule a few days after my original exam date, the staff was friendly and efficient.

LF Tang: Went to take CFA Level 1. I took the wrong passport and was mortified after I handed the passport to the reception and realizing that it is the expired one. However, they allowed extra time post the official start time for me to come back with the correct passport to take the exam, for which I was grateful. I passed the exam despite all that.It has to be pointed out that, because they deal with many different exams, the staff are not necessarily clear of the exact setup of your exam. For example, the CFA Level 1 comes with dry erase pads (like a laminated menu in a restaurant) and sharpies (very thick ones), not pens and papers. When I called them prior, I was told that I would get papers. After I finished the CFA exam, I was told I should get my result soon, whereas in fact it takes months for CFA results to be released.Overall, I appreciate their help in helping me through the process.

Manar Masry: I took my exam 4 times at this center, super friendly people works here, they help you and understand that you are in stress and they are very kind, I'm surprised how people put a bad review about this center.Every exam I took it was 9 hours exam and it needs a lot of concentration and I have never had problem with that at this center.

Jnana Challa: took step 1 here. there was construction going on the entire time and was extremely distracting. apparently construction goes on at this location year round and the staff refuse to acknowledge or address it. very rude and unprofessional. avoid this location; it should honestly be shut down to stop ruining peoples lives

Andy K: 2 people working here, one of them has to work the front desk to check people in and the back where they have to do the security checks. It gets very backed up and you'll end up starting late, don't deal with this on your test day.

Bob Carney: Took my ASE Masters here last December. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional staff. These people are trusted with important and sensitive testing info and procedures, and not only was the staff rude and petty, but completely incompetent. They don't answer the phone ever, so don’t bother calling. And the Prometric corporate line is in Asia and the operators can hardly speak English. They will lie to you about calling back, and are zero help in rescheduling. Test ANYWHERE else if you can. - Rob
