Alan Kilborn: At first I thought this was going to be MY NEW elevator service company after dealing with some other less-than-responsive companies. They came out the same day I called (nice!) but unfortunately didn't have the equipment needed for my (what they called "easy") repair on the truck. They assured me twice that they would call me the following day to make sure we'd be home at the time they were in the area with the right stuff for the repair. Well, 2+ days went by without hearing from them, then finally I couldn't wait any more so I called them. I was given some totally unrelated reason (that I was hearing for the first time!) that they weren't going to come out and fix my easy-to-solve issue. What, was I supposed to guess this?? Why didn't they just tell me this in the first place? Perhaps the big money is in corporate customers so they don't care how about how they treat the "little guy" with a residential elevator. This may be a trend in the elevator service industry? Anyway, the bottom line is that my experience with them was HORRIBLE and if you need residential elevator service I'd suggest looking elsewhere. UGH!

Barbara: We had a Stannah 260 stairlift installed using Adaptive Environments for our curved staircase. Everyone we met with from our salesman who took measurements, the woman at the showroom and our two installers were very orofessional . The chair lift and rail blend in nicely with our beige carpet and existing white metal railing. We are glad we paid extra for the chair to turn off the end if our staircase to be out of the way. I was happy to see i could still use my hall console table even with the chair turning the corner. Both Jon and his assistant installed and tested out out chair in a timely manner and took all boxes etc with them when leaving. It runs very smoothly and it also helps transporting heavy laundry etc to our second floor as well as my husband. I would highly recommend this ompany.

Larry Shaver: The whole experience was great. Derek answered all my questions and made suggestions about things that I had not thought about. The price was was very competitive to other quality units. Sherry at the office/showroom was very helpful and showed me the unit I was buying and had me operate it and ride it before buying it. Jon the installer did explain everything and did a nice job. Everyone was friendly, polite and very professional. I would definitely use them again.

paul kohler: Employees are rude and show no respect they never even call back when you send them an email I've been trying to get anelevator installed in my house for almost 2 years.There is absolutely no communication between any of the employees. I will never recommend this company nor do any business with them. Very disrespectful, condescending, poor quality of costumer service with outrageous service fees of $120 per hour, which drive time is charged at this rate.

Everybody at Adaptive Environments has been very helpful and friendly (from sales to office to installation). They all want to make your experience as positive as possible. I have not had to use the 24 hour on call service, but they encourage you to use the service.

Jessica Miller: Adaptive Environments installed 2 stair lifts at Redemption Lutheran Church last week. They were professional and informative. The office called to let me know exactly what time they would arrive and when the job would be completed. We had a last minute funeral luncheon scheduled for the same day and the work was completed before the luncheon began and everyone involved was grateful that Adaptive was able to work with us on that. After the installation was complete we were given detailed training on the operation of the stair lifts and recommendations on maintaining the equipment. The following day Deana, from the Adaptive office, called to ask if we were pleased with the equipment and to see if we had any questions. Deana also invited me to contact the office anytime-day or night. We had estimates from other companies and I am happy that we decided to have Adaptive Environments install the stair lifts!

We ordered two Stannah stairlifts for our home based on our impression that this was a company we could trust and that would be capable of doing a first-class, safe installation of stairlifts in our home and that would stand behind its products for the long haul. The people we dealt with at Adaptive Environments were extraordinarily kind, caring, knowlegeable about their products, straightforward and honest. I highly recommend this company if you are in need of a stairlift for your home.

Theodore Bratro: I have two stair lifts installed by Adaptive around 2008. They can be complex machines. I would recommend getting the standard seat as the premium seat seems to be prone to problems. All in all, the people at Adaptive have been friendly, cooperative, and professional. They are reasonable and willing to compromise. The units work well and have become a big part of my life. During installation I had some concerns which were all addressed in an agreeable manner by everyone, the owner. salesman, technicians, and office staff. They honestly try to do their best to keep their clients satisfied. I can't say that about every company I have dealt with.
