Andraya Musallam: I've been taking Megan's BLS CPR and renewal classes for a while now. I truly enjoy training with her because she is professional, cleanily, timely, compassionate, and intellegent. I can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does! Megan's classes are fun and interactive! She not only teaches you the content, but provides you with tips/tricks on how to perform high quality CPR/care to clients in a timely and effective manner in those real-life situations. Her classes are highly interactive accomadating various learning styles! For example, her classes entail watching videos, kinesthetics like both physically working with eachother as a team or independent with different scenarios, along with the written exam to test your knowledge. I highly recommend taking training with her!
Lauren Kern: I took my BLS with ACT Fast the other day. Megan was an amazing instructor! She truly goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to make sure you're confident and thorough in your skills. She was also super sweet and welcoming when our class walked in. All around a great experience! I feel super confident if I were ever in an emergency situation and needed to take action to try and save a life. Highly recommend this business!

Julieann Miller: From a first timer taking this class for a card required for the nursing program, this place is PERFECT for beginners! Signing was easy. The class was extremely hands on and whatever questions you have, class instructor Megan will answer. No need to feel like an idiot. You will walk out of the class in confidence and know what to do in emergency situations! I can't recommend this place enough!
Brooke Comfort: The BEST place to take a BLS certification course. Megan is knowledgeable and passionate about the curriculum and it shows. Will be going here for recertifications from now on!

I called and got scheduled to a class near me immediately, they work great with schedules. Destiny Epps: This company took our money for a CPR Instructor course, then told us we could not teach outside of their organization. We continued to question the instructor during the class and of course were brushed off until the end of the course. We drove to the site weeks ahead of the course to make sure this was the right fit for our new CPR company and were told everything we wanted to hear. We asked why we would take an instructor course if we could never teach anyone, anywhere? We were told they could not provide us a room to teach at their facility and that they weren't hiring haha. If you are planning on becoming an instructor and want to actually teach. DO NOT GO HERE! They will take over $500 from you for a certification, then tell you that you can never use it. Fraudulent company that will not return your money and no use talking to management because they are all in on it. How the AHA is still allowing this to go on... astounding!
Mat Schildt: Took my paramedic here. Was an excellent experience. The new leadership and instructors are amazing and there’s nothing but growth planned for the future. My cohort was 100% in pass rate. LSTI isn’t the school it used to be in the best way possible.

Michael Godfrey: Took the EMT BASIC boot camp and passed first try with the direction of the great teacher chapa and with help from the staggff at lsti and community ems. Dont let the very few reviews fool you this place is too notch and my new nremt cert and Michigan EMT licence prooves this place knows its buisness.
Rickorius Maximus: NOT COVID SAFE. Teachers and faculty do nothing to ensure covid safety. Masks are not being enforced and students are actively being encouraged to not wear them. Seriously?? This is a healthcare profession. Extremely unprofessional instructors that seem to just be riding a cert they got a long time ago. Instructor often presents information inconsistent with the book and is extremely combative when asked to reconcile those differences. Get a real education elsewhere
Bridget Waara: I took the BLS instructor course that is offered here and was highly impressed as a student. In addition to being an employee of Parastar and receiving wonderful employee benefits to utilize the resources of LSTI, on a personal note I have found the staff and atmosphere to be highly professional. The instructors truly care about their students and are cheering for your success from day one.
Jeremy Hart: I took my EMT-B through here. I took my EMT-P course here as well. The quality of education was more than what I imagined. The instructors were involved, affirming yet honest and constructive (as they should be), and several times I had no problem seeking and securing additional help outside of classroom or office hours. Indeed, even now AFTER the program is completed the staff are still following up on my progress towards taking my NREMT, offering resources and aid if I need. And they are investing heavily in supplies and equipment to really up the school's game in how they can challenge and teach their students.There are always communication hiccups at any business or school, and there were some here, but all of them were promptly fixed when they were brought up. Without fail LSTI sought me out on any issue I came to them with to ask me what they could do better the next time, or to tell me what they were doing to prevent the error from happening ever again. That, coupled with a strong drive to prevent problems in the first place, is an amazing thing.Give 'em a try, the place is growing by leaps and bounds and only appears to be pushing further.
Nick Sadowski: Do NOT attend this place for an EMT course! On the first day of class it seed like it would be a great, organized class and turned out to be the total opposite. Out 1st teacher was replaced halfway through because he didn't even have the proper credentials to teach it. He was then replaced by Phil who was just an angry, perverted man with horrible language who did nothing but reference sex and the death of his two yr old. Nearly everyone failed the class itself of not for him giving us free points to boost our grade. It wasn't a lack of effort because we would get together on the weekends and study - it was that we did not learn what we needed.If you are interested in an EMT class, go else where. Community colleges, MIAEHS, just anything but this place!!
0341 marine: This place is a joke. Tried an AEMT course because I was waiting for my medic course to resume because I had to take some time off, so I figured I would get a higher paying license. The instructor did not know what to teach us and the tests he was giving were all paramedic protocol questions. When asked how this was going to help us pass the NREMT test for AEMT he said well if you know this you will be fine.....Ummm ok. So I dropped the course. Also I know many people who wasted their money on the medic course here....Run far away from this place. Very dishonest.
Omar Banhawy: I have been a healthcare provider for 12 years. I took an ACLS course with them in February 2016. When I tried to call to get my course book, they never answer their phone and good luck trying to leave a message because they will not call you back.I completed the course and passed, and over two months and several phone calls later my ACLS card has not been sent to me. Despite them telling me that its going out with tomorrows mail every time I call.The course itself was decent, and the instructors were on top of all the regulations, but LTSI needs to work on customer support, and follow up.
