Arizona Saddlery of Birmingham: what do users think?
CaSundra Gaylor: Excellent service! Authentic Western Store! I bought 3 pair of boots and a hat!
Shi Reel: The perfect hole in the wall western store.
Dillon Vansickle: This place is phenomenal. Absolute best level of customer service I've received in a long time. I went in looking for a nice pair of boots that will last me. Kelly pointed me in a different direction than what I originally wanted but it worked out great and much better than what I thought I wanted. Can't recommend her store enough. You won't be disappointed.
Morgan Katz: Kelly did an amazing job helping me find exactly what I needed. She is very helpful and knowledgeable! Great experience overall.
Lisa Hamby: I loved that they had a decent selection for my tiny rider! This store has great stock and the owner was so friendly and helpful!
Erik Spreitzer: Great product selection and helpful store associates.Nothing here is cheap.... but everything here is quality merchandise.Giddy up
Bruce Lindell: I believe the clerks name is Kelly. She was very nice and even though they didn’t have what I was looking for she was able to refer me to the Clarkston location.
Jennifer Bilski: Arizona saddlery has an amazing selection, and prices that beat other stores and sometimes even prices online! The friendly staff always has answers to your questions and won't pressure you to buy things you can't afford. It's a great place!
Michelle Apostoloski: Walked in the door and felt like a kid in a candy store. There was an abundance of EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The Rochester location is closer to me, but they have no where near the the amount of items in stock as the Birmingham store. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, which made me feel confident I purchased the right product. Definitely worth the drive.
kim elliott: What a great place! The best selection of Dansko shoes and if they don’t carry what you’re looking for Kelly will order them for you!!!!I’ll be back to pick up one of a kind Christmas gifts!!!!!
Ron H: Love this place. Staff if great and accommodating and they have top quality mdse
Ron Cole: One of kind boots, will be able to past them down to my son.
Robert Baker: Very helpful. Asked about cleaning a hat.I will buy my next one there too!
ClaireElaine: I have been looking at all the local tack shops for a new coat that I needed last minute for a show. No luck anywhere and then I found an amazing deal on an ariat show coat. I love it!! Perfect for summer show. Also the lady i spoke to on the phone was so helpful, she help me get everything I need and more. Definitely coming back!
Katarina Thoms: So happy we found this store! As Canadians, we had no store of this type close to home. We found everything we needed here, and the service was wonderful! We look forward to going back.
Avery Salesin: Kelly was the best! So helpful!
Sophie Piotrowicz: Lady at front desk was very helpful had had an abundance of knowledge when it came to the clothes and hats she sold. When checking out she included information about how to care for the hat to keep it in great shape.
Anna Jennings: I went in to get cowboy boots for my birthday and had an amazing experience! The staff was so kind and the store had a wonderful selection.
David Endean: The hours say they're open on Sunday, but you actually have to call...we did, but got no answer. Walked to another store, came back and called again - still no answer. It'd have been better if they'd just chosen to close entirely. Disappointing, as it looks like they have quite a selection.
Walt Battle: Knowledgeable, professional, quality merchandise.
B Ryan: We are "city slickers" and went to find boots for an important event. And boy did they have boots! Hundreds of pairs I'd wager( and anything else a real rider could need i think), but what took us by surprise was the helpful and courteous staff. Us, being self professed city folk, didn't put the sales person off. She (I think her name was Meg) stepped up even more and guided us through the styles, the fit, what to expect and feel when we wear them. Never trying to get us to buy anything beyond our needs, she explained how they differ from trying on shoes and how to break them in and the upkeep and care of them long term. Meg made the shopping process not only bearable, but enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend Arizona Saddlery as the first place to stop if you're in the market for boots of any budget, but also a ton of western and riding equipment.

Arizona Saddlery Of Rochester: what do users think?
Benjamin Schmidt: Like many other reviews for the store I wish I had seen the reviews before going, the owner was rude didn't seem to care what type of boot you were looking for. Once we had found boots that were comfortable he continued to try and up sell boots that were two to three times the price we were already looking at. That being said the boots there are also priced $150-$200 above the other retailers selling the same boots. If you're looking for boots your time and money are best spent elsewhere.
Richard Scott: Nover open, got thare after 1hr after listed open time and they had a call for appointment called and no one answered.
jeremy pointer: Found exactly what I was looking for. The boots look great and staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend.
Kimberly Schutt: Great service, friendly staff, and had exactly what I needed. Love the boots as well. Would recommend to others.
Payton Kehoe: I will not be coming back here. The owners are always so rude. Their hours are never right and after driving an hour here to exchange some western spurs she told me that I will need to go to one of the other locations in such a rude way. Don’t recommend!
Amanda Opalewski: I visited this store to purchase western boots for horseback riding. I specifically said I needed boots that could be worn for riding and not just fashion. The guy working assured me the boots he picked out for me would work. He did not seem too knowledgeable about boots and seemed only concerned with making a sale, which should have been my first clue. However, several months into wearing the boots and they are in fact not meant to be worn for riding (spurs cannot be worn with them). They are cute and comfortable, but I can’t wear them for their intended purpose. You’d think shopping at a speciality store like this would mean specialized knowledge, but that’s not the case. This store is purely for western fashion purposes and nothing more.
Sebastian Watkins: They have most things you might be looking for but ultimately they’re going to send you to another store. Disappointing. It sounds like they do it on a regular.
Kelly K: Not a nice store. They're either locked up tight half the time they're supposed to be open, or you go inside when they actually ARE open, and get horrible service. It's no wonder the place is empty every time I come in. You're definitely not treated like a valuable customer. Their selection of English riding gear is almost non-existent compared to other tack shops I've been to, and nobody seems willing to even want to help you find anything you're looking for. Not worth shopping here. Go to Oxford instead. Covered Wagon is friendly, has a bigger selection, and is worth the trip!
Heather McAuley: Several visits to store location with ‘locked doors’ or ‘appointment only’ plus a note on FB if the store was closing; a gf wanted to buy several pairs of boots, so we finally found the store open. The most unbelievable rude, confrontational woman literally has us leaving the store as quickly as possible.Main Street is a lovely area, having worked there and have several friends who own shops on the Street. She was absolutely disgusting!
Ryan Polansky: Overpriced, rude staff. Take your business elsewhere.
Nicole Brady: Came in for a lead rope with a chain (I am on my way to move my horse and she does better getting into a trailer with a shank). I walked in just after 3pm and the man that was in the store told me he was closing (there are two banners stating they close at 5pm Sundays). He told me to go to one of the other locations and he was just so rude about the way he approached me. Ummmm I’ll just drive out of my way to a family farm and home where they have great customer service but thanks anyway. Arizona Saddlery used to be a great option to shop for those of us that live in the city, but the owners are always annoyed that you want to spend your money there. Horrible customer service. I will not return.
Paige Kloka: they have moccasins and I just bought a pair and there so comfortable!
autumn randazzo: Has awesome cowgirl boots!! Great store!
Andrea Goldie: My daughter and I were not greated for at least 5 min after entering the store. When the sales lady finally appeared, she greeted us warmly and asked our boot size. She then looked at our feet (in athletic shoes) and asked, somewhat rudely, if we were wearing socks (yes, we were both in "no show" socks.) My first thought (not verbalized) was they are charging $500+ for boots and they don't provide footies? She then disappeared. After browsing, I sought her out and found her back in the office (3 more groups entered the store and she was A-WOL.) I asked her why Arizona Saddlery in Birmingham was so much less expensive. My son's girlfriend, the day before, purchased adorable boots from the Birmingham store for $180.00. I also asked if each store was independently owned. She got up and walked to the boot selection and said her prices were so exorbitant because Rochester is a walkable shopping area. Shockingly, I replied, "Have you ever been to Birmingham? Really, have you been there? It is, in my opinion, a much higher end walkable shopping district." She then became agitated and said, "Why you being so aggressive with me? I don't need to take this." I looked at my teenaged daughter and calmly said, "We are leaving." We drove 30 minutes to visit the store and had every intention of purchasing 2 pairs of boots. With the store prices, she should have been far more accommodating and much less abrasive and rude. I will never enter that store again and will tell everyone I know about my experience.
Julie Tafa: Man/owner was very rude. When I was trying to purchase my first cowboy hat, I wanted to figure out the correct size needed and try on a few different style/material hats. After trying on 4-5 hats he told me I was killing him after I asked to try on another. Over all my experience was very disappointing considering how excited I was to get a hat. If i’m going to be spending $150-$300 for a hat I want to make sure it’s the right one for me. They lost a sale. The store was empty. Horrible customer service.FYI- the man who “helped” me said the manager had left and she’ll be back soon. I was so disappointed that I waited 15 minutes in the parking lot for her return only to find out-That the woman I was waiting for was the wife of the man who helped me. This man and the woman are the owners.Don’t waste your time driving here.
Tharana Spruit: I wish I had read the reviews before I entered this store .I found this store by accident and I was so excited because my husband always want to buy a good cowboy boots but he can’t find one.An old lady came out from the room after I been there for 10 minutes and asked me if I need any help, I told her I want to look around first it was my first time here. I’m taking a few pictures just to show my husband and thought about taking him here on the weekend. Suddenly a lady came out from her room and yelled at me to not take the pictures she said she gets trouble from customers doing this. I apologized to her and told her the reason why I’m taking the photos but she just walked away and never look back to me. She was on the phone a whole time I was there. There are no signs no photos taking and what the reason why the customers can’t take the photos? Untouchable store and very rude old lady.
Tammy L (Countrygirl): Thus place is never open (the sign says open but the doors are locked & no one is there). When you call the number it is a recording to make an appointment & a month ago the recording said closed because of carpet replacement or cleaning. This business won't last if no one can go in to shop. Very disappointing. Looks like they have some nice western wear & stuff too.
N M: Need a better hat selection and way over priced
andrew: I hope the owner reads this. I was refused service because I didn’t have a mask. I drove 20 minutes to another western apparel store and spent over $200.
Jim Gizoni: Horrible experience was outback was told to go in front of building, walked around to the front of the building. Then after walking with 4 of us freezing front door was also locked. Called again and was told we had to have appointment. What a joke of a place.
Kyle Mason: The people where nice and the atmosphere was amazing and I loved it
