Mike Davis: Brought the kids and their friends to an escape room for an 11th birthday party. We all had a blast. Well run experience and our guide was excellent. Definitely recommend and will be back for sure.
Sheela: We went to organize a kids birthday party here. Greeted by a young lady and she didn’t know the basic company policy and kept telling us, “It is on the website.” About to go to payment, we had been flexible with the time and the number of people, she tells us that the max is 8 people after agreeing that 10 would be okay. She also did say that we were allowed to make a deposit of half, and after tells us to pay the full amount straight forward. What? Also, she told us that she was the assistant manager. They don’t have general respect for their customers. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE PLEASE! IF YOU WILL, CONSIDER OTHER OPTIONS BEFORE YOU DO.
Ashley Bielecki: Austin was so great. We came a little past the cutoff time and he let us in to rage room.(my bf and I). He was so nice. Very knowledgeable about the escape room and everything in it. I would go back just to interact with him.

Stefanie Spivak-Birndorf: Dracula's Lair at Escape Room Zone in Madison HeightsVery fun. It was my first time doing a puzzle room and I’m glad we tried this one. I can’t remember the name of the person who got us in without a reservation - but very customer service oriented and wanted us to have a good time. Decorations were not cheesy and the puzzles were difficult (but you get 3 hints). May be cost prohibitive for some. However there is also a Smash Room (Rage Room) where if you bring your own smashables you only have to pay the $5? or $10? clean up fee.

Gregory Zoltek: We have been to this specific spot twice. First for their Rage Room, the second to test our wits in the escape room. Both times we had an absolute blast! Definitely a good date night place or a place to go with friends! Also today we just learned they have a mini rage room up front if you wanna smash some plates!Update: Second Rage Room experience has been great! Austin was great and super accommodating

Jonathan McDonald: Went as a group of 9 and only 2 of us had done an escape room before. We did the Kingdom Crusade room and absolutely loved the experience. We had 1 hr to complete it and managed to finish with just 4:08 remaining. I would definitely like to go here again to do a different room the next time we are in town.

We did the level up room in the past, which was really cool as well. Aaron Ehle: Only speaking for crash landing, but it was perfect for a family with kids, or even a date night. Perfect blend of logic vs ease vs skill. Though the lobby, signs, store front all need a LOT of work, it's not really important.

Anthony Frederick: OMG I CANNOT EXPLAIN HOW FUN THIS WAS!!!! I did Level Up a couple years ago, and let me tell you. FUN!! I just did Cursed Cabin today and it was the best escape room I’ve ever done!! We did it with Me, my cousin, and my mom. We escaped with 24 seconds left, and it was the best escape room experience I’ve had! The clues were well thought out, and it really gives everyone a chance to step up and get their brains thinking! I really loved the theme of the room! Just please do not run across the rug because I slipped. But overall, the room was amazing and I would gladly do it again! I recommend this room 100% to people who have done escape rooms before, but if you are a beginner, bring someone who has experience because the room is tricky at some times. I love this “company” and I will surely come back for more FUN experiences.

Dog Lover: I understand we signed up for the hardest escape room, but when you’re stuck in handcuffs for an hour? That’s just a waste of money. The employee obviously saw we were struggling, and could not reach the walkie talkie to ask for a hint. We were begging for help, and no one cared. Would not recommend the jailbreak escape room to anyone.

Katie Foster: Our Moms club did the camp out room. We had a blast! The place was very clean and nice. The staff was very accommodating for our booking and super nice while we were there. We all had a great time, and will be back!
Hayley Matthews: Our group of 4 really enjoyed the "On the Radio" room. It was surprising, intricate, and tricky. Without giving too much away, my favorite parts were the begining extra credit games, the magnetic components and the hidden secret around the corner. Our host was friendly and very quick with the requested hints. We will absolutely be back.

Lindsey Halstead: Called in advance because we had a group of 13 year olds that had time to kill in between hockey games and they were very accommodating. They even had a Locker Room themed room. They let us moms watch the entire time from the lobby on their camera system so we could see how they were interacting. Would highly recommend!!!

Sai Zaman: I came here with the work family before the pandemic. The rooms allowed for a wide variety of puzzles and cryptic riddles to solve that even adults can stumble on. The surprises also gave many of us a shock which allowed for some minor jumps and screams. While we unfortunately did not make our escape within the given hour, we all still had a great time. If I could wipe my memory slate clean and visit again with a fresh start, I would do so.
Heather Smith: We didnt quite make it out but they are super nice and make sure you have a good time! And, that, we did! Puzzles were difficult but not too impossible and as always clues are a tremendous help!

John Wang: This is my first experience of an escape room. We came here as a team building event. I thoroughly enjoyed the game very much and highly recommend it to anyone. Owner Chris and Paul are super nice and friendly. They cleaned the place very well and followed the safety protocol, e.g., wearing masks, using hand sanitizers. During the whole time while we were there, we felt very safe. They designed all the game rooms by themselves and puzzles are fun also challenging. The hint comes up at the right moment. We all had a blast. Definitely will go back and try a different room. :)

Joan Knox: My first time and I had a blast, I'm 69 years old, so don't let age hold you back. Came with my team members from work, but next time, I'm bringing my family, I think it'll be a great family reunion activity also. Sarah Polk: Such a great place! The rooms are very unique. They even have one based on local history, the Purple Gang room which is perfect for a few people and only takes half an hour. The staff is wonderful; it's an experience I highly recommend!

Albert T: We tried the Weirder stuff room and we were thoroughly disappointed. First of all, from the website and the review, we were expecting an immersive experience with high quality effects and puzzles. What we came across, after having done many escape rooms, is a very basic and small room (1 room) with rudimentary puzzles filled with unnecessarily long texts, locks and numbers.The way the room progress is also very interesting. You can solve multiple puzzles at the same time - and try to get high scores and not necessarily try to escape. All of the puzzles are very convoluted and not enjoyable in the slightest.Maybe should have tried the Houdini Trap, but caterogically not impressed with the Weirder stuff room.
Dan C: The experience was thoroughly unenjoyable, through and through. We did the Weirder Things room. The puzzles were overly complicated and by the time you're midway through, you can probably fill the floor space with all the stuff they have you find during the experience. If you're looking to have a bad time with non sensical puzzles, have at you but it's definitely not a fun experience. Many puzzles were 'finnicky' and required manual reset because they did not work properly. I left the experience not having a clue what just happened besides asking myself what did I just spend money on. The scanner you're given does not scan QR codes, which is 'part of the experience' (I call it an excuse for poor conception of provided tools). Some positive thing I will say about the room is the theme of the room is definitely from the 80s and lobby is nice for photos. 0/10 - I got few redeemable things to say about this place.

People were so weird back then! I recommend the 5th wall to anyone who has already been in the escape game. I can't wait to see that Houdini trap room. They say it has a torture chamber in there. 5 stars for the 5th Wall!

Captain Basch: My fairly experienced group of three had an amazing time here. We did an 80's themed Sci-fi mystery room and I was very immersed in the story of the room. There was a lot of really interesting decorations and props that added a ton of life to the experience. The mechanics of this particular room was very unique as far as escape rooms go and I was a big fan of it. I know I'm being very vague, but I really don't want to spoil anything for any potential visitors. Fifth Wall is great! I want to go back and do more rooms with them. All three of us really enjoyed our time there!
ehababdelhamid: We tried the Weirder Stuff room. The plot and clues are made in a very clever way. You need to pay close attention to all the details. I was a nice experience overall.

Kyle Campion: My second time back after having a blast doing the “misfortune” room a few months ago… and was BLOWN AWAY by the “elevators” room! So fun and interactive and the motion element to this room makes it incredibly unique and exciting! Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, and the theming through out the building is perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough and can’t wait to get back to try out the rest of the puzzles here!

Ron Kaski: BEST IN MICHIGAN. We recently had the utter pleasure of playing The Elevators at Michigan Escape Room. Amazing. We've visited many escape rooms both in and out of state, and this one really takes the cake. The staff and owners were very excited about their operation, and the room was tremendous. The puzzles were just right, and everything was deeply themed and well-maintained. From the minute you walk in the door, you'll see this is a first-rate operation. We can't wait to come back to try Bigfoot and MisFortune. Well done.
Jamie Kress: Awesome experience!! It was really family orientated, took 4 kids (ages 11, 10, 7 and 6) and the staff helped us along the entire way. (Thank goodness!) The kids never got bored and loved solving the clues. This was the best escape room we’ve done!

MJ B Galendez: This was something that my daughter wanted to do since getting here 4 days ago. It is recommended to book online in advance as they don’t have much openings if you just do a walk in. We booked online and it was $28 per person. we did Misfortune and it was a lot of fun. They provided hints throughout which was very helpful. We were a party of 4 so that was enough for the room that we were in. They didn’t give hints off the bat but if time is running out, hints come up on the screen. My daughter love escape rooms so it’s always a treat when we get to go to one. I did enjoy that it was multiple rooms to try to open which was unsuspected. We went to 3 rooms and even had to pour liquid into a big bowl for us to escape the room. Definitely something we would do again. They were also accommodating when we needed to reschedule our appointment when something came up. The workers were friendly and did keep us informed throughout the experience. The place was clean and did show us where the restrooms were before the start of the game. They do sell water for $1 if you’re thirsty and did offer to hang any coats or purses inside the room. A hidden gem for sure!
