They did an awesome job of protecting the carpet which was great given the snow storm we had that weekend. The sale went well and the settlement was quick. I knew the next day what the totals were. I had also contracted them to clear the house after the sale. Again, an amazing job! Nothing left that wasn't supposed to be there and swept clean. Dan Mercurio: My family had been talking to this company for over a year on my parents move. Richard came out well in advance to check out the house. After juggling a few dates in which they were very accommodating with, they came out to do the sale the week of the move. The team came out on the morning to start pricing to which there was a bit of a disconnect on what was being sold and what was being moved. The team then called Richard out to which after arriving had them pack up and leave. I understand that the home wasn't perfect, but to jet out the week of the move was COMPLETELY unprofessional and honestly a joke. If you are truly running a legit business not everything runs as smoothly to your satisfaction, you should be able to accommodate and get through obstacles. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company for that reason. Thank god we found another company to sweep and and save the day. With less than 5 days in turning over keys we would've been completely screwed.

Renee: Apparently they reduce prices for some people but not others. In line and the worker was discussing a further discounted price by the end of the last day. I asked when they were going to discount the prices further and was told they were not cutting prices anymore. I was standing right there when she offered the lower price to the other potential buyer. ??????? in response, this was the 4th day of the sale and the discount offered to the buyer in front of me was loud and clear. The owner apparently didn't read my review. Privately discuss discounts (didn't happen, that was the problem) Plus the person working the cash out desk was rude. Didn't want to mention that in the initial review but here it is.

christian kirkoaz: Probably one of the worst estate sales companies out there. And i would know since i go couple times a week, every week. First they don't have price on almost anything, you have to either chase a worker or ask the lady by the register and even worse the workers don't know, so they must also ask the lady at the register. Like one of the main jobs of hiring an estate sales company is to price things for you. they legit do the bare minimum. And this is not just one sale but every sale they have. i been many of them. Prices are way over priced, no wonder why the houses are usually still full by the last day of sale. Don't get me started at the lady that runs the register, always rude and with an attitude. I guarantee you would get more sales if you are just kind and not a B****. Their are times where i wouldn't purchase the item on purpose because the attitude she gives. So many of us avoid her, its not hard to be kind. I am utterly shocked how she gets hired. Trust me stay away from this mediocre company.

Shawna Comford: I hired sunshine estate sales to host my parents estate sale. My parents moved into senior living and needed the remaining items in their home emptied before we sold the house. They talked with us about how this process was done and what steps we needed to take to do a sale. They were really helpful in getting us through the process. They also took extra steps to protect the house during the process as we had snow during the sale . The whole experience was better than I expected. Thank you for doing such a great job. I would highly recommend them for any one looking to have an estate sale.

Logan: Had them do an estate sale, they took all my furnishings and sold them, and then added more charges to the contract, which was not on the contract i signed. After everything i walked away with under $200 for them taking my items and selling it themselves.

I will not spend my time chasing after prices for items. When you do bring to register, they are overpriced. Not a good situation for the estate owners at all. I will avoid this company

NDO Dev: Shady and dishonest! I recently went to a sale they were having. They had an early sign up sheet and allowed their friend to have the first spot, even though I showed up before them. People showed up early to sign up and Lolly was allowing people that called her during, to sign up on the sheet as well. Literally, ahead of people that physically showed up that should have had priority. They also raised prices heavily, it was a complete waste of time. I would highly suggest avoiding these people if you’re a buyer or someone trying to have someone run your sale. Shame on you

I’ve seen a couple bad reviews and just think they must be those people that leave bad reviews if they don’t get what they want, when they want it. Shame. Will always go to their sales. Jennifer Kusch: They rigged an estate sale I attended that had highly coveted sports/music memorabilia. They gave the top spot on their sign up sheet to a friend of theirs who immediately beelined for the merchandise worth the most (he obviously knew where it would be) and bought it all as a lot. Very dirty way of doing business when so many avid collectors went out of their way to attend.I know for a fact they rigged the signup sheet because I was there when they got it out. The first person who had arrived was handed it and remarked in how there was already a name in the first spot. Dirty business that ticked off many collectors that had gone out of their way to sign up for one of the best spots on the list. There’s better estate sale companies to work with.

Timothy Stetter: I had the horrible task of executing my parents estate which included almost 50 years worth of stuff spread out over 4400 sq ft. I met with almost 10 estate sales companies and could tell right away Jeff and Jody were different from the others because of the interest and care they took just walking through the house during the consultation.I was deciding between them and another company and it came down to just the good feeling I got from meeting them, happily my instincts were correct. Throughout the several week process between consultation to close of sale they were always responsive, went above and went beyond on research and extra credit take home work, like putting my TMNT Technodrome back together.The setup process went great and all of their employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The sale itself lasted 4 days and we exceeded our estimates. From there within the next 5 days I used a cleanout company and maid service that works with Lolly and Pop and had my realtors ready for photography to list the house the following week.If you are looking for people that care about you, your well-being and making it as easy and profitable as possible I would whole-heartedly recommend them to host your estate sale.
