Mukul Chakravarthy: Ethiopian diner. Place is unique. Food is different. I like the bread and Meat dishes. You can order a dinner platter and you get a bread and vegetable dishes all you can eat,$20 per person. If you want any meat dishes it’s additional per plate.Overall experience is good. You get to eat with your hands and they supply you with wet towels to clean you hands. It felt good that we didn’t use any plastic or paper throughout the dinner.

Amer: The food is amazing! Their chicken and steak dishes are also exquisite and melt in your mouth. Make sure to get some of their house Ethiopian wine with your dinner.
Elizabeth Shaifer: Good favorable Ethiopian food, fast service, foot hot when served. Did not like lamb in pieces. Prefer larger cuts of the meat.Would recommend to others. The owner don't allow customers to take out their leftovers! I did nit like leaving food that I paid for when It is mine to take!Parking: Parking lot is small in square footage. Have to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before Resturant opens. Parking is free. Gets crowded fast!

Samuel Omer: Stopped by for lunch for first time based on suggestion from a friend. I was greeted with warm welcome and ate very delicious Awaze Tibs. Am definitely going back there again!

R Lenz: What an AWESOME experience! The food was soooo good! Our hostess, who I believe is the owner, was so wonderfully sweet. We just trusted her to fix us up with veggies and meat. And WOW! Lentils, cabbage, peas, greens, beets, etc., and everything was delicious. The only thing that wasn't up my alley was the injera. Its taste overpowered some of the dishes. I think my FAVORITE was the appetizer we had - sambosas! Very similar to Indian samosas, but oh my gosh! The best ever!!
Erin Eagen: My first time dining here was so delicious! This is more than a meal, it’s a whole experience. I had never had this cuisine before so I ordered a combo that allowed me to try the beef stew, green lentils, and spiced potatoes. Everything tasted so delicious. I also had an appetizer that our server recommended as well as the fried plantains for dessert. Everything I ate was delicious and I am definitely planning yo go back. The decor is nice, the restaurant is very clean and comfortable, and the music was lovely. Our server was wonderful and helpful. They also have a mini store area with spices and tea blends so if you go, check that out too!
Nanette Nette: Saw this place while driving by and stopped in for lunch. Got the meat combo plate on a platter for two (V2, 3, 4 / B1 / C3) and after meal coffee for two. We opted to eat with our hands as we had Ethiopian food before. There was hot towel service before and after our meal. The food was delicious and filling. No regrets; everything was very pretty good and I'm looking forward to tasting more things on the menu.Compliments to the chef/owner who was gracious enough to chat with us for a while. She was happy and suprised to see that we were familiar enough with Ethiopian cuisine to not order Jollof rice and Fufu (West African cuisine). All in all, great Ethiopian food experience, will come though again!

Amy C: I drove all the way to this restaurant to get Authentic African meat pie. I got home, opened my order and found beef patties that they sell at K &F on 9 mile rd for $1. People come to the restaurant for authentic food. If you don’t want to make authentic meat pies then don’t sell those beef patties for $5. I called and spoke with the manager who said “ oh those are jamaican meat pies.” Why would you sell Jamaican meat pie as African meat pies? Who does that? What a terrible experience. I have those beef patties from K&F African market on 9 mile and coolidge in my freezer . I won’t be coming back. I do not recommend. It’s a rip off.

The food (oxtails and jollof rice) was tasty and flavorful, although a little too spicy for me. It was a nice surprise that Kola had live entertainment. We had a great time on a Wednesday evening.

Annette Toth: We were here for meetings with ppl from right across Canada. As a group of 12 we were warmly welcomed and the food was unbelievable!!! Thank you for welcoming us and for the most incredible food EVER!!
Donald Polak: First time here. Service was great as the owner and his son took care of us and helped us with questions and suggestions. This is an authentic restaurant so there are no utensils. You have a form of fluffy crepe that you are to pick up you your food with.Food was very tasty. I would highly recommend for anyone that is a vegetarian. In fact I honestly enjoyed the vegetarian selections more than the meat. Favourite was the red lentils and the eggplant. If you are looking for something different and truly authentic for Ethiopian food this is the place.Vegetarian options: Plenty of selection if not the primary options.

Miki Miki: First of all, it is not the real Ethiopian tef bread.. the bread is flour bread and the size of the Ethiopian bread is not like this. An Ethiopian person can see and judge... the white people don't know the wonderful food of Ethiopia so they can eat it... customer service must be improved....
Best B: The food was authentic but small in portions. The awful customer service took me by surprise since most Ethiopian restaurants are welcoming. The server was disappointed the moment we entered and was rude through out our stay.
Darcy Hoyes: The food is excellent!
Sabrina Schaefer: Amazing food. Both takeout and dine in orders are delicious. Got me hooked on Ethiopian food.
Jesse Stropkovics: Such a friendly, warm expirience w amazing food and tea!
Patrick White: Love this hidden gem! Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, the food was fresh and hot and the service was kind, if not a little slow. If you’re looking for a family run Windsor classic, I highly recommend you visit this diamond in the rough.

Andréanne Baribeau: I looove this restaurant. I lived in Windsor for 5 years and used to go there all the time, and just went back 7 years later and it’s still as delicious. I always order a mix of veggie/meat platter with injera. So glad this restaurant is still around with the same nice owner and warm atmosphere.
D JC: We remembered this place decades ago when we lived in windsor. We returned tonight. The food was average, portions smaller. Tasty, but a bit blah. The service was horrible. One gentleman no dialaouge, didn't check back with us mid meal or end. No how was the food? Too many other options to choose from and overall all 4 of us were disappointed. This is a 2.5 star
