Lauren Hoffman: We had a great experience with Rob + Nikki at Encore Event Group. We utilized them for DJ, MC, photo booth, up lighting, monogram projection, and other lighting services.There was a last minute hiccup (on my part) where we had booked bistro lights to be hung at our venue but then found out 3 days prior to our wedding that the venue had them already strung. We came up with an alternative and Rob by far exceeded my expectations.We postponed our wedding due to covid, eloped in 2020 and then just used our October 2021 date as a reception celebration. Rob accommodated to our date change which we were really appreciative of. That being said - we wanted a PARTY and Rob delivered. His energy is unmatched and kept the hype whether the dance floor was full or half full. He mixed music from my generation (millennial) and my parents generation (80s/90s) and really appealed to all age groups.During our first dance, we all of the sudden heard everyone cheering- to our surprise we turned around and he had fireworks playing in the background. Being the bride who worked hard to plan our wedding and then reschedule due to covid, I thought I knew every detail of our day. It was so awesome to be surprised along with our guests.EEG was one of our best vendors ! Thanks Rob + Nikki!
David Hicks: I could not say enough good things about encore event group. Specifically Rob and Nicole. Planning a wedding throughout covid was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever gone through. However working with them was anything but stressful. Even in the crazy times. When it came to switching a date it was smooth. When it came to a potentially outdoor reception and ceremony it wasn’t an issue. They were willing to do whatever it took to make our day legendary. And it was. Rob called us a few days before to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. The green screen photo booth was epic. Everyone loved it. The way they decorated the room with the custom dance floor and drapery. The bishop columns. It was all fantastic. I’ve seen images of our venue from other weddings. And they look great, they do. But they all pale in comparison to what Encore Event Group was able to make ours look. Our photographers were raving about the lighting and how it made their pictures even nicer. And they did. Everything about encore event group made our wedding better. Rob was the best DJ keeping everyone on the dance floor all night.Thank you guys for an amazing night! And I recommend you to anyone and everyone who is having any kind of special event!

They were unable to provide service (uplighting, photobooth and ceiling drapery) so Rob called up our venue to see if we could switch our wedding date for a date that could work for them! I was shocked when our venue reached out to us to let us know.Needless to say. They didn’t provide anything besides a headache for us and not even partial refund.Do yourself a favor. DO NOT HIRE THEM.
Cornial Crum: Love, love, love this company. The staff and team onboard know how to take care of events efficiently and timely. Rob and Nicci are very understanding of your needs and help with the very last details. I would recommend to anyone needing things for your events to book with them.
KBK Relief: I had a very bad experience with this company. My nonprofit organization worked with Encore Events for a fashion show and had a logo made for our foundation. Rob charged us $250 and told us that we would be able to keep it and it could be used with any lighting company in the future. It was a metal logo that I saw with my own eyes and held in my hand. We told Rob to hold on to it after our event because we planned to use Encore Events for future events. We reached out again for our gala a few months later and he cancelled or postponed our appointment 3 times without any care for our time. Because of this reason, we had to contact another event company for our gala. When I reached out to him for our metal logo that we had made and paid for, he denied having it at all. He said he only made a plastic one that he threw away. When I told him we paid $250 for a metal one and saw it with my own eyes, he said "Well, you should've gone with US (Encore events) instead of another company!" Even though we did try to go with him, but he is the one who kept cancelling our meetings. When I reminded him of this fact he hung up on me. DO NOT go with this company. They lie and don't care for their clients at all.

This bunch of Episcopalians from near and far had a blast, and danced the night away with Encore! We so much appreciate Rob, Nicole, and the team’s professionalism and service. Everything went smoothly on the front end, all the way through the event. Our playlist was fulfilled perfectly, and the evening ended right on time with “Don’t Stop Believing”, which was sheer perfection! Also, you read the crowd perfectly, and added just the right additional songs, including that Polka music. How did you know? Many Thanks! David Bailey: Encore Events is fantastic! I hired Rob to be the DJ for my Halloween-themed wedding, but we got way, WAY more than just great music. He instantly understood our vision and helped us bring it to life with lighting, smoke machines, sound effect cues, and even helped us build a miniature haunted house inside our venue. My wife and I asked him to dress as the Phantom of the Opera, and not only did he do that, but he gave an absolutely amazing introduction in character! He gave so much attention to every single detail and made the night unbelievably spectacular. I can't recommend Encore enough for any kind of event. Thank you Rob and co!
Nothernboy Seasons: We have used them twice within one year! The owner promised us they would not be late again. Well they where early, but didn’t come with enough pills to drape the four walls!! They’re nice until you pay. Nicci answered calls up until she received the deposit then tried to be slick and change the terms and price!! She wrote the contract out adding additional $400.00 for financing Fees, Set Up etc. after she stated set up fees where included in the price! The only thing that saved the newly weds after they signed the contract without reading it was that she put the wrong name on the contract and it was void!!! Once the company was confronted with the text messages stating the price and what was requested and agreed on with Nicci then they claimed the $400.00 was a computer error!! Some people my have had a good experience with them, but this is a WARNING TO BE AWARE THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND THE LIE UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MONEY!!! They where suppose to drape all four walls of the venue, but ran out of polls! They claim they where going back to get more and would return and never showed back up UNTIL 11:00pm when the event was over! Yes the left two large gaped spaces in the venue! DO NOT Use This Company!!!! Buy your own it’s cheaper then sale them!!!!

April Elizabeth: I went here for the Selfie Shop and it did not disappoint! Definitely book for an hour because in one hour I didn't even get to use each backdrop. When you reserve you get the whole space to yourself so this is a great activity during covid. Employees keep masks on during your session. You can choose what music you'd like to listen to and you get lots of help from the employees regarding the lights and even help with posing for photos. Sam, Alex and Mika were the employees I met and they were all very helpful and friendly! I can't wait to come back and use some of the other backdrops, thank you for a great experience!

It was a Renaissance Festival themed wedding. She took my daughters vision and helped make it a reality, ensuring items that may not have otherwise been considered were taken care of. My daughter continues to sing Lauren's praises. As other's have said, it's in the name of the company - perfection.
Sue Bidigare: It's all in the name! Perfection. Lauren made everything perfect! She is so organized. She thought of things we never would have thought of. Everything went great at the wedding. We had so many wonderful comments from guests about the event itself, but also about how outstanding Lauren was. She impressed everyone-yet she was always in the background. Never showy or pushy. She just guided things along and made everything happen perfectly. Throughout the whole wedding planning process she made us feel comfortable, was ALWAYS available, and went above and beyond to make our day special. My only regret is that with the wedding being over, we will not be seeing or texting much anymore. She is one of those people who I would like to have as a friend! I highly recommend Lauren and her staff if one is planning a wedding. Again, perfection!
Susan Notoriano: If you are on the fence about getting a wedding planner, let me save you some time… DEFINITELY GET ONE, but not just ANY ONE… EVERY Bride & Groom NEEDS PEONIES and PERFECTION!We could NOT have pulled our wedding off without them! Lauren has a keen sense of details, organization and diplomatic skills that are beyond perfect!!! She organized every detail, communicated wonderfully and created our dream wedding and we just had her for the day of!!! Our photographer never showed and Lauren and Allison even used my phone to capture our special moments!!! So many things that my husband & I were worried about or concerned with was completely taken care of by Lauren and her staff! If we had a chance to do it over again, we would DEFINITELY hire Lauren of Peonies and Perfection but also get the Full package!!! She was so wonderful, we wished she was part of our family!!! We ABSOLUTELY LOVED them AND the FABULOUS JOB they did!10/10 perfection!!! Thank you AGAIN Lauren!!!
Rachel Aguirre: Lauren was such an important part of making sure our wedding day turned out to be exactly what we could have imagined and relieved our stress so that we could be fully present during the entire day. As our day-of coordinator, she went above and beyond by creating a minute by minute schedule of the entire day so that our wedding party and family knew when and where they needed to be. She did an incredible job setting up our ceremony and reception venue to bring our vision to life, took care of even the smallest details we didn't know needed to be done, and even went 20 minutes out of her way to pick up our wedding cake in the morning to make sure it got to the venue! I highly recommend to anyone debating on whether they want to get a day-of coordinator - DO IT with Lauren! For everyone that has asked how our wedding day went, I can happily say that everything went exactly how I could have hoped for and more, and if anything did go wrong I didn't know about it because Lauren probably took care of it for me!

Stacey S: Unlike most girls that fantasize about their wedding day at a young age, I never felt the urge to imagine mine. I knew one day it would happen but I never felt the desire to sit and daydream about my perfect dress, color schemes, food, ceremony - anything, perhaps in fear that the most important day of my life would not live up to what I might have wanted.My husband and I had picked a wedding date and a venue. We felt like we were on the right track. With the venue locked in we thought, “Ok phew, that’s a big thing off the checklist,” but then with him finishing up training and the world continuing to turn upside down from the pandemic we found ourselves discouraged from any further planning. After chatting for just a couple minutes my husband and I quickly realized her expertise was exactly what we needed. We hired her as our full time planner.Just like that she had vendor meetings lined up for us over the following weeks. We hired each vendor she recommended. They all blew us away, we didn’t need second opinions. After working with her for just a short time I really started to feel like a true bride. Her attentiveness, encouragement, and creativity was inspiring. Thanks to her, I finally found myself having those visions and imagining what our day was going to look like.Our day came and went, it was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have done without her. Her communication skills and ability to direct throughout the day allowed us to truly be present with our family and friends. If there were any issues behind the scenes, we never would have known.To help you understand how passionate Lauren is about her work I wanted to mention some specific instances. She came with me to my last dress fitting to learn the bustle. She let us store a couple of bins of our decor at her home as we were in the middle of a big move. I was also told that she helped cut and serve the majority of our cake! Oh and we can’t forget how she relentlessly and successfully hunted down a Taco Bell that would agree to make us hundreds of tacos for our late-night snack.Wedding planning should be an enjoyable experience and having Lauren was the best decision we made. It’s called Peonies and Perfection for a reason. Thank you Lauren for the most perfect day.

She has developed great relationships with various vendors that made it easy to plan the wedding.Most impressive of all to me, was Lauren's energy and dedication on rehearsal dinner day and the wedding day. Not only was she the first one to arrive, she also texted all the entire wedding party the morning of with a minute by minute agenda.Lauren was also the last to leave and took care of wedding gifts and cards, any questions that came up during the event such as "where is the cake, it should have been here by now!", worked with the venue staff etc.all with reassurance to the bride and mothers! I don't know how the wedding could have happened as beautifully as it did without her help every step of the way. My daughter was able to completely enjoy her dress rehearsal and more importantly, her wedding day WITHOUT ANY WORRIES!

Meredith Eldridge: My wedding was September 2020 - one of the worst times to have wedding, especially in Michigan. I was an out of state bride as well. My wedding would NOT HAVE HAPPENED if it was not for Lauren.From the start of planning, I was overwhelmed and did not know where to start. She was very organized and helped me with various things I did not even think about such as what to throw for our exit (that's also eco friendly and make it cute), helping plan my rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch after the wedding, accommodations for my out of town guests, my seating chart etc. There were so many different components to keep up with for my wedding and everything leading up to it, I could not have done it alone and she was the perfect addition to guide me through it all. She was very responsive and would always be willing to answer my questions and communicate with my other venders who she had also recommended. Thanks to her, we had it in our dream spot in front of the lake as planned.The day of the wedding she coordinated and ensured my other vendors were on time and did a proper job setting up, helped my wedding party and family stay on time with the schedule as well as ensuring I got all the photos I wanted for my photographers.There were so many little things that happened on my wedding day that were fixed and I never knew about them until after the fact. I was actually able to enjoy my day instead of worry about making everything perfect because Lauren did that for me.She helped make my venue so beautiful and made my wedding day so much fun for my friends and family!

a w: From the bride's mother's standpoint, I knew I needed Lauren's service as soon as I heard her describe what she does! I wanted to enjoy the day and not worry about the details. Her and her assistant handled everything! Anything I needed help with, they were there! They pinned dresses that were too big, coordinated distribution of flowers and gifts, and made sure we were in the right place at the right time.
