The belt is just now coming loose so it's time for another one. Be sure to ask for Dean! He's awesome! Dean will help you find what you're looking for and he is very professional and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed.
Andrew Smail: We have purchased a few pieces of exercise equipment from this store. The items we have purchased are high quality and should last a long time. The sales person, Dean is awesome!! He encourages you to try things out, takes the time to explain the differences between similar pieces of equipment, will give you tips and tricks for equipment assembly and beyond that is just friendly, helpful and kind. The other guy with the beard, not so much. LOL. I am sure he is good, but one day after calling several times with no answer I went to the store. I was the only one in the store (looking around) and he didn't look to be very busy so I called the store, heard the phone ring, and......he didn't even bother to pick up. Dude really?? Still 5 stars!! Still a great place! Just talk to Dean.

Autumn Warman: Went to American Home Fitness to find treadmill options as I wanted better service/knowledge than I would likely get at a big box store. Dean took the time to show me several models and explain each one, but didn't try to upsell me, which I was very thankful for. The treadmill was delivered less than a week later and the team was very quick to set it up and show me how it worked.

Don’t go to any lousy big store this is all you need right here, they don’t sell to people that just buy to resell products they are really the best! I went to many stores and was not able to find any weight plates or a barbell and i went in here with low expectations and came out with a preorder of exactly what i wanted for only 2 weeks out! The staff are extremely nice and we’ll get you whatever you want please go here and support! Do not go here to just try to buy and resell please you will be denied service.

Saint barts: I bought a treadmill from Eric at this location in 2004. I never once had a problem with it over the years. It was the best treadmill I ever had. 15 years and thousands of miles later I found myself in the market for another one. I run at home 6 days a week so I didn’t really have any time to lose. I stopped into the store and spoke with Matthew. I was looking for another treadmill that was similar to the one I had. He introduced me to some really solid equipment, showed me my options and answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel pressured at all into buying anything. I appreciated that. 2 days later I went back to the store to buy one. I worked with Dean on the sale. All of these guys are sharp and knowledgeable. I bought the True Performance 300. Less than 24 hours from the time of the sale it was delivered to my home and set up perfectly. I have 20 miles on it already and I’m totally satisfied. If you’re looking for gym equipment check these guys out. Satisfaction guaranteed. Keep up the good work !

Greg Callis: I highly recommend Exercise Warehouse in Utica, Michigan. I purchased a Horizon AT 7.0 on December 18 2021. Jim Kramer was my salesperson. He was very friendly and I felt comfortable with my purchase. When I got the treadmill home and opened the box to begin assembly, I noticed some broken plastic pieces in the box. After sorting through the rest of box, I realized that several parts, including the control panel were damaged severely. I was really disappointed. I went to see Jim first thing on Monday morning and showed him all the pictures I took of the damaged parts. He asked me to email him the pictures and said he would contact me that day. Two hours later, he called and said they would be replacing the treadmill with a new one and delivering it on January 3rd. He believed the damage was caused prior to shipping to the store. The treadmill was delivered on time and I am very satisfied with the service I received. Thank you Jim and Exercise Warehouse delivery crew.

Systems Guy MI: Jim and Matt were very helpful. Purchased an ICG IC5 to use with apps like Peloton and Zwift - you need ANT+ dongle for Zwift. Purchase the IC6 for full Bluetooth integration, important if you plan to use Apple TV for Zwift. Do your research and you will realize the quality of this bike. The little things like the shroud that covers the flywheel. This will help key you, any kids or pets from getting injured. The bike is extremely quiet and smooth. You can workout in the morning or late at night without fear of disturbing anyone. The air assist handlebars are a huge plus. Recommend that you order the iPad holder. It integrates right into the handlebar. Coach by color is great for working in your different zones. I'd argue much better than a Peloton and you can do way more with it than a Peloton or Nordic Track.We plan to buy the Horizon 7.8 AT from them in the next few weeks.I also wanted to mention that my wife purchased a bunch of equipment from Matt for her Ornish Cardiac Rehab program in Rochester Hills. She couldn't be happier with the service Matt provided. The number one reason I decided to go with them and buy local.

candace shue: I originally purchased the Bodycraft SCT400g through Amazon, but the purchase fell through because of an Amazon system error. I was unaware of the order being cancelled until I received a call from the Bodycraft vendor explaining the situation. This was extremely disheartening because the elliptical was/is for my father who is doing rehab therapy and it was/is a critical piece needed and we had been saving up for two months. Upon learning of the time sensitive nature of our situation the Bodycraft representative put me in touch with a local vendor to try to rectify matters instead of going through Amazon and run the risk of further complications. He luckily and thankfully put me in touch with Matthew Miller at The Exercise Wearhouse and Matthew made a really bad and heartbreaking situation better in every way he could as quickly as he could. His customer service will not be forgotten by me nor will his kindness and compassion as a human being. We are very satisfied with the Bodycraft SCT400g. It is a wonderful piece of equipment, thus far, at a reasonable price when compared to other models with a swivel seat and furthermore the customer service was top notch. Thank you Bodycraft, Exercise Warehouse and most of all Matthew Miller.
Mitch Trager: First off, I'd like to thank Matt and his staff for the quick delivery of our Horizon T5. Having been in the store when it first opened, I knew a future purchase would take place at some point down the road. While on the mend from a recent surgical procedure, I was able to get a hold of Matt to make the purchase for my recovery. Despite the holiday rush, Matt was able to secure the treadmill of our choice, after answering my plethora of questions, and got it delivered/installed before Christmas Eve. Eric Riddle: Has the latest trendy Nike, under armor, adidas, yeti, whatever.Most expensive place to shop for clothes.Dunhams is much better.I only come here if I absolutely have to for a random item I know they might have...Not even to mention,they stopped selling guns and hunting stuff altogether and are anti 2nd amendment, which used to be the main basis of their buisness.

What do you know--the employees here said it would be at least 2-3 days before anyone would be in who could do the regripping. Drove all the way around the city to multiple locations to just have them tell me to go to Golf Galaxy. I should have just gone to a small business after this boondoggle.

B Bowen: Great customer service and excellent price!The motor I ordered for my treadmill was on back-order, so FPW contacted me to ensure I wanted to wait for the order to come through. They called me and emailed me to ensure I was notified. They gave me an estimated time to fulfill the order and beat their estimate by a several weeks. Awesome customer service.The motor I ordered arrived in in good condition because it was packaged well. The installation instructions were easy to follow - my treadmill was running again in less than an hour.I looked at more than 8 websites, including ebay for the motor and it was $100 cheaper on FPW than any other site.The treadmill is like new and I couldn't be happier! Thanks, FPW. I'll be back if I need more parts, so hopefully never, but it's more than likely I'll return.

Matt (the manager) was super professional and friendly. He was able to answer all of my questions and provide information about the rack, and even discussed options for a better at home workout with the rack. Our rack was back ordered and he kept us informed every step of the way. It took a couple of weeks to receive but once Exercise Warehouse received word of its arrival, Matt contacted me to schedule the delivery within a week.The guys that came out to deliver and install the rack did all the work in under 2 hours and required no work for me. They were very professional! I will 100% come back to Exercise Warehouse and wouldn't purchase equipment anywhere else.
Don Akers: My wife and I were looking for a rower. We first went to the Utica store, where the salesman, Josh, enthusiastically recommended the Aviron rower. He did this despite the fact that he did not have one to demo in the Utica store - he could have pushed something else in the store in an attempt to get an immediate sale but he instead encouraged me to go to the Livonia store to look at the Aviron. I went to the Livonia store and spoke with Matt who did a complete demonstration of this state of the art rowing machine for me. The Exercise Warehouse salespeople made shopping in brick and mortar stores worthwhile - and we love our new rower!

April: Great customer service! We purchased a Horizon treadmill in December and are so happy with it!. No pressure sales, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Delivery and set up was perfect. Four months later, they were super helpful when the belt needed it's 150 mile maintenance, and walked me through the process with no fuss. Very happy with the product and the service!
Paul Mazzola: A great experience wire to wire. Visited the Livonia location to possibly purchase a used Lifetime Fitness C7 functional trainer. The manager, Matt, was very helpful and answered all questions. Felt like I got a extremely good price for the unit relative to its new-unit price, and also liked that I was supporting a local business. Bought it on Wednesday afternoon; was delivered and assembled on Friday. Delivery team was squarely on time at the front end of the delivery window provided. Matt followed up via text a week or so later to check in on my enjoyment of the unit, and offer future assistance if needed. Overall, nice to have a big purchase go so smoothly.

Suanne Zager: Great experience at Exercise Warehouse with Matt! He assisted me an making a decision about whether to buy an exercise machine and what brand to buy. I have arthritis in both knees and am trying to put off knee replacements for as long as possible. Matt answered all my questions about elliptical machines and did not try to oversell me in a machine with bells and whistles that i do not need. His delivery team was very respectful and worked hard to get the equipment into my basement. Matt has made himself available to me via phone when I’ve had questions regarding understanding my new machine. I highly recommend Exercise Warehouse especially if you’re looking for a high quality piece of equipment that costs not much more than what the other manufacturers sell but is much better quality. My machine is smooth, quiet and runs on ball bearings. I suspect I’ll get many many years of exercise out of this machine.

greg boes: Went to Madison Heights store to buy an air rifle. The employee at gun counter couldn't have been LESS helpful. He was too busy talking to another customer about "real" guns. I couldn't see the prices as they were only visible on the small sticker price tags on the gun boxes which were on shelves so high that you would need a telescope to read them. After 15 minutes of no serviceable information or help, I left and went across the street to Great Outdoors and bought the same gun I was looking to buy for $20 less than Dunham's price, (after checking online, since I was not able to establish the price in the store itself). AND, on the way out to my car, I noticed that same unhelpful employee out in front of the store busy vaping away on the sidewalk.

BigSteph: Ice fishing stuff is fairly well stocked
Steve Charles: For some reason it is not as fun going to the store because of how they have the structure set up internally I don't see where there is a advantage to the sales
Melanie Cochrill: It is baseball season and they had no baseball equipment. They had about a dozen youth cleats, and of those, the lowest clearance price was $50+.

Katie Foster: It's ok. Good selection of leggings and other things, but the prices for jackets aren't that impressive.

Jon Lynch: Always fun to stop in here. Sometimes you find some hidden gems, sometimes they have the bonus % off. If you're ever looking to maybe upgrade your active wardrobe, definitely a great place to start looking.Pretty organized by size, brand, and color.

Tina Tierney: If they have what you need you will be happy to stop here. They have many good deals that seems to revolve. This last visit they had many items marked down to $10.00 clearance racks. Lots of shorts, pants, jackets, does, and more are clearanced out here

Also the appeal selection is overwhelming at times too. The staff is very helpful with all your questions about the products. It my treasure trove going going home with me
