Associates In Psychiatry: what do users think?
Rob Long: Please listen to the negative Reviews ~Office Staff extremely rude and unhelpful. Response was Congrats the Dr has accepted you. Really, I was referred to you and I am paying for the services so why should I be thankful the Dr. Accepted me. It should be the other way around. They don't offer any counseling, they wont complete any paperwork (FMLA) if needed, and wont request any previous medical record from prior providers. Worse than Terrible at best. Seeking help should not cause more issues especially from those you are seeking help from. This Associates in Psychiatry is the poster child for why we are in a mental health crisis as a society.
caami daavis: If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with severe concerns about my mental health and all my concerns were ignored and dismissed. I was not taken seriously and made to feel like my issues were invalid. I will never go back. Save yourself the headache and get on a waitlist somewhere else.
Joshua Flitton: The receptionist was very nice and helpful.
Peter: With someone dealing with mental health, I would appreciate a call for an appointment, I’ve waited patiently and I haven’t heard back, I got a call for them about a month ago, they wanted my information and I gave them it. After I finished, the receptionist said I would hear back but I never did. Do not go here. I don’t think they care, someone could be very ill.
Christy Moceri: I've been with Dr. Anderson for years and she is hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever had (which is saying a lot, I used to move around a lot.) She is highly knowledgeable about how the medications work and interact, and knows how they will potentially impact chronic illnesses and other medical conditions I have. She is always willing to tweak the meds or try new things if I am not feeling my best. I also really appreciate that she took my diagnosis of adult ADHD seriously and helped me find a medication that worked for me. Getting treatment for that has made a huge difference in my life.
Shibly U: I've been trying to get a hold of anyone here for past 2 months, even with my pcp referral. they never answer your call to schedule an appointment. I've tried multiple times, now I'm just going to see someone else. regardless of how well the doctors are, it should not be this difficult to reach the practice for an appointment.
Jillian LeMay (Jill): Incredibly unprofessional, they don’t take any time to review your history or previous diagnoses and will constantly disregard your diagnoses. When confronted about treating you for a condition you do not have, they tell you something along the lines of “X diagnosis is the same as Y diagnosis,” even if the conditions aren’t even remotely similar. Doctors also won’t remember what medications they have prescribed you, and they won’t outline the risks of taking certain medications.Eastwood clinic is exceptionally more professional and thorough.
Clarence Pokorske: Excellent care and follow-up.
Salina Pappas: Scammers. Take your money and no treatment stay clear of here!
Jeff Donegan: Had a dental emergency over the weekend and they got me in first thing Monday morning and had me taken care of by 10am. These guys are great.
Jess M: If you are seeking compassionate care, do not come here. I made an appointment to see Dr. Anderson. I was then bounced around from doctor to PA to different doctor, and it was made very unclear whether my appointment would be in person or telehealth. When I called (SEVERAL times) to ask for clarification I was sent to voicemail box after voicemail box. I left multiple voicemails in the week and a half leading up to my appointment. None of my calls were returned. FINALLY I got ahold of someone in the billing department who was able to answer some of my questions. However, she was incredibly rude and kept talking over me, getting louder and louder. Her explanation for the unanswered voicemails was that whoever was in charge of new patients was on vacation and that it “didn’t matter because appointments were booked out so far in advance anyway.” Really? The woman sent me into a full-blown panic attack and I had to hang up the phone. You’d expect a psychiatric office that deals with anxious people all the time to be kinder and little more welcoming to their patients. They should truly be ashamed of themselves.
Brent Wodtke: Went through the intake process for almost two months just for them to tell me that they weren't going to take me in as a patient. I am 7 days away from being out of my prescriptions and I have extinguished all of my options to get one month supplies from CVS, my primary care doctor, etc. Associates in Psychiatry knew all of this and ran me through the whole process before telling me that I was basically screwed. Now I guarantee that I will run out of my my medications with not enough left to wean myself off. Very ride and not caring.
Casey Finn: Very poor experience. Won’t treat me because I was prescribed Ativan. So I weaned myself off to get an appointment because I do not have a doctor, I have co-occurring disorders and need immediate care. I have been hospitalized 4 times this year and received ECT, and I NEED help. a member of the office staff told me that I needed to be off of Ativan for a few months before a doctor would even talk to me. I informed her I was going to end up at a crisis center or back in inpatient care without medical help, and she told me that “that just shows her that I’m going to those places to get Ativan, that I am not truly off of it”So I was denied medical care and accused of being a drug addict by a secretary. I have been on medication for my illness since i was 14, and have never abused it, or even taken a SIP of alcohol because of potential side effects. I take my treatment for my chronic illness very seriously and was treated like I was just going there because I want drugs that they do not even prescribe. This is what is wrong with Mental health treatment in America. We are treated like drug addicts and crazy people. Disgusting!
Terri Waller: Dr Anderson took care of me for at least 11 years I thought I was in the best hands out there until I quit walking for three years and devolved so many major Heath issues!! My doctors were telling me I’m slowly dieing taking all those pills she has me on! One pill on top another and they were killing me!! I have detoxed off all the meds she had me on I am walking and my mind is so much clearer!! I have never felt better!!People be aware of the meds she gives you.. take matters in your own hands don’t let these doctors ruin your life!! I would not have even gave you a one star but I had no choice!!
Ralph Phillippi: Dr. Anderson has been my savior. I have not been cured but my condition has been satisfied.
ST-SPEED 313: Office staff is very friendly. I have never had any issues with them. I am leaving a 3 star due to my experience with the Doctor I have seen. Please see specific doctor reviews.
C: Staff is always friendly and greet me with a smile. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Alexzander Nathan: Sometimes you wait. 2pm appt. Turns into a 2:30. Maybe its not the Dr. Fault, maybe its the patients appt's before that were late causing everyone after them to wait. Idk. Other than that the doctors are good. Remember this is not a therapists office, these guys just prescribe Viagra

Sollars and Associates - Sterling Heights - Counseling and Psychology Services: what do users think?
Thea Matthews: Sollars is poorly run. Billing is bad, testing is bad, and general follow‐through is bad. In their intro video, they claim that they believe mental health care is a right and they want everyone to have access to it. However, the owners just want to look compassionate and caring but aren't. It's more like a sweatshop for newly graduated inexperienced therapists. Most of the therapists are sincerely trying to provide wonderful care but they aren't reimbursed well and the atmosphere is highly contentious. Many studies show that if therapists don't have adequate support, they are much less likely to be effective in their job. You'd be better off going to community mental health, calling a crisis line on a regular basis or just talking to a friend.
rachel: My whole experience being a patient at Sollars has been amazing. From the first time I called, they were kind and welcoming. They take into consideration your preferences and try to match you with the best therapist for you, instead of just scheduling with the first available. My therapist Emily Kingsbury has been AMAZING. She has made a huge difference in my growth and mental health and has been extremely helpful. I felt like she listened to everything I said & always had thoughtful responses and challenged me when needed. I would definitely recommend going to Sollars and Associates
Nyssa: Left a voicemail well over a week ago asking for help for my son and school issues, with my phone number spoken clearly 2x. It was urgent that he got accessed because his PCP couldnt handle his case (they recommended this place), but I guess we don't matter. So much for this "michigan family ran" BUSINESS. Just imagine BS like this is why America is so mentally unhealthy. Don't bother writing back because I've already moved on, just wanted to let your establishment know its garbage.
Djuan Sheppard: My experience with Sollars and Associates has been incredible specifically working closely with Ariana Moreno. I have been working with Ariana for almost a year now and it has been a better experience than I could ever have Imagined.Me and Ariana have worked through a Plethora of different topics such as ( Helping me get better with being more intune with my feelings and emotions, Insecurities, vulnerabilities, Trauma from the past ( Trauma discharge), Thought record ( Watching automatic thoughts) and the list goes on. In the past year Ariana has been responsible for me making Tremendous growth.Ariana is Incredibly passionate, Great Listener, Marvelous Insight, Very Sweet soul ( She really cares) and honestly it will be very difficult to find someone like her that really cares about your well being. If you are looking for someone that is brutally honest and Transparent that is Solution based and will give you incredible solutions to work through whatever life issues you are struggling with I would Highly recommend Ariana!I have only been working with her for almost a year but I would trust her with my Life.In this day in age it is hard to have confidence in Human beings however Ariana has given me a glimmer of hope that there still are Sweet souls out there. If you're looking to grow you will not be disappointed in Ariana and you will absolutely get more than your money's worth!!!
Jessica Miller: Really concerned about your process of assessment and diagnosis from one of your clinicians.
Ace: They never answer the phone! No matter what day, no matter what time you call, they will not answer and they will not call you back no matter how many messages you leave!
Ricardo Paredes Cañedo: Tarsha is great!
Tura Belle: The phone staff was very helpful and the therapist professional and caring. I would recommend this business.
