Cindy Sheere: Devin was the first to come to our home when our water heater leaked and completely flooded our entire basement. He was very kind and reassuring. Then Austin & Tony came out to assess the damage and strategically place fans to dry the areas. Austin was very knowledgeable, friendly, and very funny. Barbara Miriani: Brian and Sean came out early evening to clean up water from a broken pipe in second floor bath that continued down to main level and on down to basement. They then set up heaters/fans to dry everything out before leaving that night.They came back often next few days to check on progress.Today they came back to tear out drywall on ceilings and walls. They even replaced part of ceiling drywall before calling it a day(early evening). She walked me through the process, which made it nice to know what was going to take place and approximately how long it would take. During the process if I had any questions she always responded back to me quickly.In order to get my floor fixed from the flood I had to have some appliances removed first. Melissa had sent a couple of Crew Members over to take care of that named Mike and Devin. I have to say they were so nice, so polite, so fast and efficient at moving these large appliances for me. It was awesome!One of the appliances was a dishwasher but it had to be disconnected first and they took care of that so the contractor wouldn't have to which I thought was very thoughtful. Once it was disconnected they found out I was concerned about how I was going to get rid of it and they offered to dispose of it for me. Dale McElhaney: Had severe flooding that happen while away from home for several months. This led to a major mold problem that destroyed everything in the basement. Restoration 1 was recommended to me by a coworker. I contacted them, the owner took my call and immediately came out to accessed the problem. The next day they began work to remediate the issue. There was a significant amount of mold, however, Restoration 1 had everything cleaned up in a week. I rate these a 5 starThis portion below addresses the starting stages of working with on site. While my items were still in storage i made several attempts to find out what items were saved. All i would receive was pictures of items that were taken at the time of the fire still in my house. I couldnt make out what most were and was never given a list of what was saved. Therefore not knowing what i would end up with, i had to purchase items, now i have many expensive duplicates. No kool at all.

Susan Graham: We hired Expert Solutions to clean our basement after the sewer/drain backup that devastated Grosse Pointe 6/26/21. Fred and his crew cleaned and carried out some ruined contents, although we had already removed the carpet and padding. They often came later than they said they would and removed furniture 12 hours later, in the dark. My husband came home from work early to meet the demo crew and then waited almost 2 hours for them. Apparently they wanted to finish the job that night because they were here until almost 1am! Fred did not seem to appreciate it if I questioned anything. He and Jessica did a “final clean” starting about 7pm. They were here a few hours and then called it done. When I checked the wood chairs and bar cabinet that they supposedly cleaned, I found black residue on the bottom of all the chairs and the bar cabinet too. They left some small debris on the basement floor and in the shower. These issues make me wonder how well everything else was cleaned. Nicole Hunt: My family and I just moved into our new home on January 1st and within 10 days of being here we started to experience water coming through a section of our family room. It was very disheartening to us considering our inspection passed with flying colors. I spent HOURS online going through reviews, reading up on the dangers of water damage, and trying to figure out how to address this pressing issue in the midst of taking care of my toddler and maintaining my busy workload. However, I came across Expert Solutions and after reading the reviews I had made the decision to call the owner, Fred Wolfe. I called early on a Saturday morning and he was literally at my house within 1 hour of speaking to him. He made sure ask if we were safe and was very professional upon his arrival. He gave us an explanation of his services, things he had noticed, and even went above and beyond to offer us advice about other areas of our home that our inspector seemed to ignore. Things that as new homeowners we didn’t quite think to check on our own. Fred was at our home the very next day to start work! Jasim Jakupovic: Never finished the work, most of the work was poor quality and not finished at all. City and the state got involved and still didn't do nothing to finish it. My bathroom vent runs in to the addic and not out side so I haven't been able to use my shower vent for years because it would create black mold if it goes to my blown installation.

Daniel Lee: They just do the mitigation portion, I had to setup the drywall and painting repairs separately, but no big deal. There was no evidence of mold, but the possibility that down the line I would have mold in the future was what they were narrating (selling) me. They had me speak to my insurance company a certain way so that the insurance company could cut them a check, all the while they tell you "you will not pay out of pocket". It took a few months for me to get a check from my insurance company, but I was in contact with RFF the whole time, trying to remain a good actor. What's not good is being charged $1000 out of pocket when you were assured you would pay $0. Bad enough my plumbing and drywall cost were over $5000, but what's another $1000? The thing is not the money, it's the principle. If you say something to a client, be about your word.For less than a few hours of work, I was charged $3500 from RFF. The area the work was done to was my ceiling and some of the wall... less than a 4ft by 3ft area. I'm not saying that the invoice looked embellished for insurance purposes, but was it?
