Diego Diaz: Very nice service and the meal was excellent 👍
Dany Poutros: Jasmin blows my mind with their amazing and delicious food. Always on point, flavors are unmatched. If I ever pass through Sterling Heights, it’s a must that I grab something from here. Prices are extremely fair too.
daniela katto: If you want to eat hair, eat here.Food is good but always a hair buried deep in the cream chop.
Ashleytheunicorntwin Ash: Got the chicken sharwarma it was delicious I recommend going to this place.
Joann Gracik: Vegetarian options: Nice place and good foodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma …More
Colin Pierce: The people here are very nice and considerate and will work to get you good service and food. The schwarmas here are by far the best I've ever had. They even beat out Bucharest Scwarmas and that is saying alot. It's a good spot to pull up and have a relaxing bite to eat and some coffee. 5 starsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Manuel M.: Terrible sandwiches, they use pickled everything as vegetables which makes it extremely sour and they use foil as wrapper which is not safe, does not hold juices in and its difficult to deal with. Would not recommend getting sandwiches from here. Upon looking at the menu and prices, making the math, they charged me an extra 40 cents just because.
Tara Martin: Food tasty, service very good. I will return.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
James Moore: Nothing but love❤❤❤❤❤
Joseph Kuehn: Great variety of true middle eastern food that most other places don’t offer. Very impressed, definitely my go to for middle eastern food.
Olivia Gorial: Consistently delicious! Just wish they had the "karrie maruk" which is the curried potato in a light tomato sauce which goes over the rice. Their yellow rice is awesome.
Jabed Choudhury: Great food, great service.
Janice W: Shady shady shady! They just make up prices and charge you whatever they want to make a little extra and don’t give what’s suppose to be included on menu. Ordered a platter for 2 and extra potato curry sauce. When I got there they charged 36 even. I asked why, I was told by the woman and man who are always at the register that “its taxes honey.” Platter cost 29.99, was told the extra sauce was $3, that would make tax 1.97. That’s 34.96 by my math but I guess a dollar is worth their reputation. Then for the third time in a row, this exact situation has happened all 3 times I’ve been here, they charged my card .36 and said they needed to run again. Look later and it charged 1.36. A time previous my husband was told on the phone Garlic sauce is $3. I get there and she tries to charge me $5! Shady all around, and the food isn’t even good like it was when I went the first time. Much smaller amount for a lot more cost, old and reheated and super stale hard pita bread instead of the bread the menu states you get. Will never return. There’s way too many places in the area to give money too.
Vicki Shipley: Expensive and not at all what I expected, so disappointed
Sandra A.: The best Kabab ever. Very nice waitress. She always gives you the best choices. Fresh entrees. Smell is amazing 😍😍 I will come back for sure. Thank you for your wonderful service.
Ragheed Azooz: The best Mediterranean food in Michigan, cozy and nice place and very good peopleTraditional quite Arabian music...Great food and great service for very reasonable price
maysaa jamal: We had a bad experience and the food was very oily, and we found a hair in it Plus the combo for three people was $36 on the menu and we got charged $42 when I complained about the prices their answer was we raised the prices!!!
Mike J: Good arabiciraqi food
Colleen Rinaldi: Overpriced and mediocre at best.
Eva S: Nope nope and nope… many other Mediterranean restaurants in the same area to be going to this place. The food not great for the price and portions were way too small.. The lady that works there has a bit of an attitude… I will say the old man there was nice but wouldn’t make me go back again. If you want Arabic food go to dream market that a mile away. Thought I would try a smaller place but definitely no more for this one.

Ahmed Alattar: Best Iraqi food in the USA.
Frank LiBretto: The food here was absolutely delicious. The combo plates offer food true to the estimate amount of people they will serve. We ordered a combo for 3 people and it was more than enough food for 2 people. A little bit of tea at the end of our meal helped selttle the food in our stomachs. The place was very busy and loud which makes it hard to hear your company talking but who cares if you are stuffing your mouth with delicious food. They also offer takeout if you prefer to eat at home and skip the wait.
ibrahim shaba: Im a customer always in Ishtar restaurant and before a couple days i saw hair in food. Amd today also i saw hair in my salad fatosh shaworma. So im so mad and disappointed

K T: This place is a hidden little food haven. We walked in to see beautifully decorated restaurant that has replicas of statues and other wall adornments from Middle East/Iraq.Great music that adds to your experience. And when the food arrived, we were wowed! Delicious and fresh! I was immediately transported to the land far away…I recommend this place to everyone!Order lentil soup. And hope they serve you that tea with a flair!
Robert Frederick: Was brought here by a friend who is from Iraq. Food was amazing, best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. Very nice inside. Highly recommend. Went back within a week to get some for my wife. There was a small error with our carryout order but other than that, great food.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

k asterbadi: I walked into this Iraqi restaurant with expectations as high as the city's skyline, courtesy of the strong recommendations from friends. Unfortunately, I found myself navigating through an underwhelming culinary experience. The Shawerma, a dish that should be teeming with flavor, was disappointingly bland. The Meat Teshreeb, while passable, was a far cry from the rich, hearty stew I had anticipated. The one redeeming element of the meal was the Meat Kebab, which was expertly prepared and burst with flavor. This standout dish offered a tantalizing glimpse into the potential of this restaurant, making the overall disappointment even more poignant. What further marred the experience was the service. Despite being generally attentive, there was an unsettling rush attached to it. It felt as if there was an invisible clock, pushing us towards the exit a bit too soon, stripping away the leisurely enjoyment of the meal.Given these experiences, this restaurant doesn't make the cut for my future dining choices in the city. Despite its potential, it falls short in delivering a truly satisfying and authentic Iraqi culinary experience. A revisit seems unlikely unless significant improvements are made
Koki Koki: Unfortunately it was better before . I took mixed grilled and the chicken was dry ,the meat was bad quality ,the chicken kabab was like you eat a fat.. not worth the expensive price at all.The only think i liked was the service .Food: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Mohamed Alasad: Shawarma chicken sandwich and meat were too dry and didn’t have any taste or flavor,The food quantity on the plate is quite decent.
