Doug Brock: It was the summer of 2021 and i wanted to surprise my wife on her birthday. So i went to Elmars Furs for their summer blowout sale. The ladies there were nice. One of the sells lady was nice she showed my wife 135lbs a few minks. The first 2 coats she tried on were obviously too large for her. Then we finally decided on a waist length sz medium and a headwrap with the custom name embrodied on the inside. They informed us that it would take a few weeks and we agreed to keep it in storage until we picked it up. Months go by we pick the coat up in late Nov. it was the wrong coat size 3x with my wifes name embroded on the wrong coat!!.. We took the coat back told them it was the wrong coat and one ofthe ladies working there says “Oh! My did you lose a lot of weight or something!”..They exchanged the coat without offering no compensation for their wrongdoing. They didnt offer my money back for paying to have her name in the coat nor did they offer to put her name on the coat that i had originaly purchased. Their response to the matter was “ Oh!… We are not going to be able to sell this coat with someone elses name on it!” Smdh!.. Dont be fooled by wolves selling mink coats!!!!… Sad part about it i liked the ladies at the store only to be greatly disappointed!!!!

Arness Rogers: El Mars Furs is a Friendly Family Fur store where 3 Lady’s Work and 3 Men work for Safety reason and I am a Customer who is a Man. who has been Shopping with them for 21 years so when I come to shop at El Mars Furs Me and my and friend we hang out with our Family when we come to Shop at El Mars Furs they are very Good people . So Lady When u come to Shop we are all here to keep everyone in the store safe and yes I do Hang out at the Store with the Best People at the Best Fur Store in the Metro area. El Mars Fur is different then All other Furs Store in the Metro area they have Customers in there Store so when u Shop at there Furs it not like the Other Furs Stores where no body is in there so don’t be afraid u are Safe

A. Joyner: NOT IN 2022!!!My husband purchased a full length mink coat for me here 13 years ago. My girlfriends and I were shopping for mink headbands and I suggested we go to Elmar's. When we arrived, two of us had on fur coats.The sales woman said she recognized our coats and insinuated she had sold them to us.Neither of the coats were purchased from Elmar's. (SIDE NOTE)Before our visit, I called and was quoted a price for the Head bands. When we arrived the quoted priced was inflated by $15.The sales persons response to my inquiry re: the price increase was, "everything has gone up", "but she could do that price"( I'm sure only because she was called out)As we were trying on headbands and looking at coats, I asked the sales person, (who was LITERALLY on her phone the entire time) if I could use the restroom? I WAS INSTRUCTED TO GO ACROSS THE STREET TO CVS!!!!! Excuse Me??!!Do people really tolerate this LACK of customer service at Elmars? AGAIN, I am a returning customer, and we were preparing to make purchases. What establishment in 2022 asks customers to spend thousands but use the restroom at the convenience store across the street?We promptly left everything we were considering and went to Dittrich in West Bloomfield to make our purchases. One girlfriend even made a custom order. Not surprisingly, there were no issue with me using the restroom inside the store.What a terrible decline. I was MORTIFIED I had suggested Elmar's to my friends. The store reminded me of a seedy used car lot off TV. Especially, considering there were at least 4 men seated and merely hanging out.We were the only 3 customers in the store. The customer service was OFFENSIVE. That coupled with the loitering made the store seem unsafe!!!BUYER BEWARE if you can't use the restroom where you spend your money go ELSEWHERE, go where a business appreciates YOU and your MONEY !!! This is not the south or the 1950'sResponse to the owner's response! How do prices go up in 24 hours? your not doing me a favor by honoring your prices. Again, lack of customer appreciation!Covid was never mentioned as to why I was instructed to use the restroom at CVS. Covid must only be an issue for paying customers! As no one was masked and multiple men hanging out. I will NEVER visit this store again. Suggestion: Limit the #of customers in your store and clean your restroom regularly so you can offer some sort of customer service
