Christopher Biddle: I have been getting labs drawn regularly since 2018, when I had a major health scare. I used to go to the lab at the Shelby medical mall until it closed. I tried a Sterling Heights location, and it was OK - not great, not terrible, but OK. (I might be a bit biased, because I loved the medical mall lab). One time after the medical mall lab closed, I went to the lab at Lakeside. I gave the tech my right hand, where I normally have labs drawn - the only place where I have good veins, and she said that the Lakeside location had a policy against drawing from hands. It had to be drawn from the arm, or I would have to go somewhere else. I have never heard of this. Just about every time I had blood drawn prior to my current situation, they ended up drawing from my hand because that was where my best veins were. Do not go to this location if you have poor vein access, or if you do, check to see if they have changed that ridiculous policy yet.
J T: They close at 5:30pm. I showed up just before 5pm and they said there was not enough time for a blood draw.
Stan O: Making an appointment through My Chart moves you to the top of the line if you show up on time. Friendly and efficient staff. In and out.
