Bought a used cart, Anthony, and the gang were wonderful at prepping it and detailing everything. It looks like new. Highly reccomend these people.

dan pic: I was looking for a used cart to help me transport fuel down to my boat, I shopped around at a couple of different spots before settling on Tri-County.I met with Joe (one of the owners), he is super friendly, low pressure and knowledgable. He explained the differences in the various golf cart manufacturers, the motors, the frames, the bodies and he never once tried to oversell me. I decided on a 2015 reconditioned cart, it actually looks brand new. In fact after my neighbors saw the cart, they were shocked when they found out it was 4 years old.When I brought the golf cart home, I noticed one of the seat handles had some gouges on it from my tie-down straps. I immediately called Joe, who said to come by, I met with his partner (I can't recall his name) who without debate gave me a brand new handle.If you are interested in a golf cart, new or used, shop around (for peace of mind). I am positive you will settle with Tri-County

The skeptic that I am I asked him to show me how to tell how old they are. He said he didn’t know. He’s one of those fast talking kind of guys, makes himself look busier than he is to evade the question. So while he was “busy” I asked the other brother and he came right out and showed me where the date is stamped right on it. 7 years old! After a lot more fast talking, he said “well don’t buy it? I have someone else that wants to buy it”Long story short, the other “good” brother talked to him and said he could give us a break on it for the age of the batteries.So, today we went back to them to buy 6 new batteries that cost on average $138. a piece. I called them and he said since we bought the cart from them he could sell them to us for $130. a piece. Fair enough. While he’s loading them, I went up front to pay for them.A different man wrote up my invoice, took my credit card, walked out back and handed me the invoice, said you’re good to go. BUT when I looked at it, it that had an additional 3% charge of $25. on it. What for? The owners told home to charge me 3% for USING MY VISA CARD!!!! What, do other people just walk in with $900. Cash to buy their batteries?If they’re going to do that why don’t they be HONEST and tell you up front that there will be a 3% charge for using visa? He very well should have told me over the phone that he’ll sell them to me $8. Less BUT charge me for using my visa and I would have gone somewhere else.Lesson learned.... don’t go back. Not honest people. Not good business.

Jerry Spencer: Bought a used cart here several years ago. It was great. Sold it and bought another used cart (2 years old) in Sept 2016. Tried to charge it for the 2017 season; wouldn't hold a charge. Had to buy 2 new batteries. Steering was difficult and needed recalibrating and lubrication, brakes were loose and rusted- needed adjustment. Company should never have let that cart out of the showroom. No warranty whatsoever. Won't be going back to Midwest or recommending it to my club members or our golf course residents.
