The owner/manager was not the least bit interested in me and when I asked if he was interested in dealing with me he said "oh I'm sorry, I've had an incident with an employee and it's set me off." Then he kept touching me on the arm. and saying things like "it' all right, I'm sorry." I had to ask the questions, ask for spec sheets and not once did he ask for my email or phone. Lost a sale and my respect.

Brett Hill: I bought fireplace doors in 2016 and today I stopped by for some replacement screws. instead of just providing the screws, john gave me the complete mounting kit! Talk about backing your product after the sale! Great place and customer service!

Yo Giles: This review will be a two part review. I am renovating my fireplace. Someone placed non custom doors on a prefab fireplace and my renovation company could not proceed. The staff at Michigan fireplace and BBQ were amazing! 5 stars for customer service, professionalism, and overall knowledge. John came out the same day to take measurements and expedite our order. Install ....to be continued...Fireplace door arrives before the holiday and was an easy install for us. It looks amazing.

Faisal Tameesh: Tony is downright the worst salesman I’ve ever met, of any industry. This guy handled fireplace sales with the demeanor of an arms dealer. This guy gave us attitude for not knowing our fireplaces and had a general air of arrogance and inconvenience. Did this guy take the wrong self-help class for establishing dominance over his clients? I’m spending over 5k on a nice gas fireplace elsewhere purely because of horrible salesmanship.

Ashley A: I ended up here after a very terrible experience with another company who sold me a faulty gas log set and made it pretty much impossible to replace without incurring a huge additional cost. John helped me choose a perfect new log set within five minutes and even set me up with Ken, who was a fantastic installer. Almost a year later, my fireplace remote stopped working (and I've since been told they are very fragile and could have been just lightly dropped) and I called John, the owner, who told me to come to the store, checked out my remote and replaced it free of charge, no questions asked. I have been very impressed by this locally-owned business and its honest and helpful owner, and I have eagerly sent many friends his way for their fireplaces.

Not only do they do BBQ'S they also do gas fireplaces. A hugh assortment on both and accessories to boot. Would highly recommend coming here over the big box stores as they were cheaper then them tooThey accept cash, credit card, debit cards, they have setup and delivery options but not installation services. Ample parking and handicap parking

Dwight Johnston: Purchased an floor model fireplace insert on Oct 12th- was told installs were running about two weeks. Turned into almost 2 weeks just till they checked for measurements, then waiting until Dec 13th for install because of delays even getting a needed part that was not even ordered until Nov 4th . Fine I got over that. Excited for the install , but In the middle of the install I caught that it was the smaller 1200 version rather than the larger 1700 version of the model as it was labeled and we had purchased and paid for. Also the oversized surround we ordered was still at the wrong store. They eventually got us the correct fireplace right before christmas but their in-house installer at same address but different corporate name- A.J. BERT) did many shortcuts. Not only did they try to do the work without the required permits, but I investigated today why our fireplace insert rocks forward when the door is opened. I thought it was just the legs need adjusted. Turns out- that despite my repeated voiced and documented concerns about the chimney liner being installed too short they found a way to "Make it work" They connected it to the insert partway out where it COULD reach then shoved it back in until our 350+lb insert is now HANGING from the chimney liner with only the front 2 feet touching the floor. and the rear an inch or 2 off the ground . Unfortunately now I have to find a REPUTABLE chimney company that will somehow fix this and have the damages litigated because I have lost all trust in having them ever cross the threshold of our house. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
