Heritage Church: what do users think?
Anthony Costa: Wonderful church wonderful pastors so good for young people and the family
Tonya Archer: Wonderful place to worship the Lord! The sermons are great and easily understood. The people are kind and welcoming. I have been attending for 4 years and I love it!
Michelle Fretter: Great church! Pastor Chris provided a heartfelt service. Music is awesome.
Brianna Witherspoon: This is a great church! If you're new to the faith or have been burned by religion before, this is a great place to start. This is a fun community of imperfect people focusing their hearts on the perfect God.
Fernelle Davis: This church is phenomenal. The pastors are really loving, kind, and personable. They have fun events and classes for kids of all ages. And the services are always wonderful. In addition to great Christian programming, they have tons games, toys, activities, a sand table, a rock climbing wall, and an indoor playground! The only downside is that it’s not racially diverse at all.
Brenda Pitts: Very nice & friendly church to go & worship with other believers. They have a lot of programs that can meet the needs of the whole family. 😇Plus, they have good coffee & hot chocolate on Sunday's before service. 👏🏽
Stephanie C: We attend this church just about every Sunday for the past few months. Each time I come, I sit with my child in the designated family area (area reserved for those with small kids), however there is this one “usher” who almost seems like she don’t like kids at all. She isn’t the most polite at all. The Sunday’s where she’s on the other side are peaceful but anytime she’s here it’s usually a guarantee that she’ll come over and ask us to leave and head to the “heritage room”. Well today there was someone else and she was even meaner than the lady we usually dread seeing. In fact, today her exact words “you need to leave” as if I was a child myself. Generally speaking, the staff is very nice and welcoming but it’s something about the spirit of these two ushers that definitely makes me not want to come back… which is unfortunate:-(
Heather Dwyer-Adams: My daughter and I started watching online during the pandemic, and we really enjoy Heritage. We listen to the podcast, attend the services, and enjoy most of what Heritage has to offer. The only thing I'm not crazy about is when the lights are crazy during the music and shine directly into my eyes. Overall the church is nice and the messages are good, and they're not crazy conservative or super liberal. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say that the pastors are great!
Skylee Dwyer: This is the best church I've ever been to! Their messages are always so positive and loving while also praising God. They really do care about people and just want to support you.
frank wessel: Love, love, love! Jeff and Chris are amazing!! Friendliest volunteers! ❤️
Michael Geist: It's very busy here so if you enjoy that atmosphere you'll feel at home =)
Ryan “Sketch” G: I was invited to this church by my neighbor. I already have established a "home" with another church but let me tell you, I was BLOWN AWAY by the welcome and care that the people at Heritage showed. I was meeting my neighbor here for Christmas service (which was very modern and positive and well organized) but had never been here before. Some people noticed that fact immediately and jumped out of their seat to help me. It didn't feel like a car sales approach either...it felt genuine and out of love. I highly recommend this church of you are in the area looking for a good place to call home. AND, they have a pastor that I am very familiar with as he used to serve at my church.
Shagena Family: Amazing service today!
Chris Warbington: Been looking for a place to connect with, and this place became that place. The messages and the Bible focus is great and can be applied to real life
John Everyman: Great group of people serving GOD!I love you all! Thanks for your devotion to GOD'S word and practices!
Kristine H: I absolutely love this church!! It’s always very uplifting ❤️ The music is moving and the pastors are great!
Brad Harris: My wife and I have been going to Heritage Church consistently since July of 2021 either online or in-person (which we prefer). We became acquainted with Heritage Church through our employer. Although our relationships with that employer dissolved we believe that God wanted us involved with this church. The church staff is very welcoming every Sunday we attend. There's an elderly man who greets us by saying "Welcome to Gods House." He is always happy to shake your hand. The lobby is pack with loving individuals who will engage you in conversations about you and your family. Also, if you enjoy good coffee, they have an excellent coffee bar and cocoa bar for the kids to warm you up on those cold Michigan winter days. I am always excited to walk into Heritage Church.Chis Zarbaugh (Lead Teaching Pastor) and Jeff Forester (Lead Pastor) are easy to connect with. When either of them speak on Sunday, I immediately feel a connection with Jesus. These two men are genuine and sincere in their words that God has called them to speak. I don't come from a family of faith so if you are looking for a church to make that slow, calculated transition in your life from knowing that their is a God and not participating in your faith to have a stronger relationship with Jesus, Heritage Church is the church for you and your family. When I started going to Heritage Church, I knew there was a God but I did not know the importance of Him in my life. Heritage Church did not complicate it. Their pastors speak to you in a way that is relatable and easy for those who don't come from a faith based background to understand. What's comforting to me is that they do not preach but they teach you about Jesus and it's up to you to take those teaching and apply them to your everyday life. Other churches I have attended will overwhelm you with biblical rituals, and traditions, not Heritage Church. This church has made me so comfortable in my faith that I chose to get Baptized with them in October 2021.I strongly recommend Heritage Church for you and your family.
Debbie Notte: This is a great place to worship, Pastor Jeff and the entire staff make the word feel like a family. This is a great place to take children also their kid zone is out of this world.
Katherine Hope: Great place to see God working! Everyone is friendly and welcoming! Kids area is awesome too!
lois barney: Excellent messages. Love the teaching pastors
Donnie Hunter: Great service until an usher asked my wife to leave with our kids, who were behaving. By the way, because they wanted to do a Facebook live video and didn’t want them to potentially make noise during said video. Christians? Ha. Let the kids be kids. And don’t be rude to my wife. Will never attend this church again.

Preservation Detroit: what do users think?
Kelvin Furuta: We brought some friends into town and wanted them get a bit of Detroit history. Signed up for a private walking tour with Ken and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We learned so much about the city, its architecture, and its roots. Ken was an extremely knowledgeable guide and his passion and wit made it all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this 2.5 hour walk to newcomers and Detroit natives alike.
Fran Neale: We went on a private tour and had a great informative tour. The guide really catered to us and showed us some places that weren't on the usual tour. We'll be back this summer to take another tour!
Ron Parent: Dave from Preservation Detroit led five of us on an excellent guided downtown tour focused on the history/architecture of this fascinating and amazing city. We all saw and learned a lot, and would highly recommend this tour and Preservation Detroit's commitment to their fine city. We would gladly do a different tour next time we are back.
Marketing Admin: Fantastic tour of Mt. Elliott Cemetery! Our tour guide Tom was so knowledgeable and interesting, and I learned a lot about Detroit history. We'll definitely be doing more tours in the future.
Thomas Krueger: We did the Mid-Town tour and loved it! Very knowledgeable tour guide. We'll be back for another tour soon.
Natalie Fiato: Scheduled a private walking tour for a weekend trip to Detroit. Our guide, Ken, was extremely knowledgeable and excited to share the city’s history and many interesting stories with us. We had a wonderful time exploring many buildings, neighborhoods, and time periods over the two hours or so. Would highly recommend if you have an interest in architecture—Detroit’s remarkable downtown cityscape is worth it!
Jan Savelle: I've lived in Michigan for over 20 years and found the tour informative and interesting. I went on the tour with my daughter, and it was her suggestion to go. I thought I knew most of Detroit history, but I learned more than a few things on the Downtown Tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and clearly loves the city. The range of architecture seen on the tour is wonderful. I would think that a visitor to the city couldn't have a better introduction, and longtime Michigan residents will surely find that they learn something as well. The over two hour tour goes by very quickly.
Tom Mull: Just took the 2019 Theater Tour and it was great! The guides had a lot of knowledge, the representatives from the different theaters were great, and it was so cool to see these spaces from every angle. I'm looking forward to taking some of the other tours.
Kerry P: Whether you're new to Detroit, lived here your whole life, or just visiting the tours are great for everyone. Highly recommended, worth every penny!
Annalisa Sokol: I HIGHLY recommend this walking tour as it is a wonderful way to learn about Detroit and its history. As a native of Detroit, I was surprised to learn so much more about the city where I was born and raised. Our guide was excellent and pointed out so many interesting details along the way. I encourage both residents and those visiting to take this guided tour, support the Preservation Society and enjoy a great way to see the city.
Pamela DeVe: Great information tour. BeUtiful architecture
helen zarovska: Absolutely wonderful walking tour! Ken and Scott were great tour guides full of interesting information from the history of Detroit all the way to present day Detroit. My husband and I live in the suburbs and this tour was a gift from our son (I didn't think I could walk that much but it was very enjoyable). This tour is a great way to see all the positive things that are happening to our city, very enlightening, very exciting!
