Abigayle Ministries: what do users think?
Jody Wheeler: I have heard about this place through a radio station I listen to. I'm thankful for what they do. The ladies they help are warriors and this place helps so many people. God bless you all and may you continue to heal and have a beautiful life ❤️
Teresa THOMAS: The ladies that work at Abigayle are angels . They are helping women that have been broken and hurt . The women have walls up and one by one the angels are taking the bricks down . I can't thank them enough for helping these women out. Thank you Abigayle Ministries I know it isn't a easy but you all ROCK!!
Jessica Nichols: Although this place may not be the best fit for me, from the bottom of my heart I am so appreciative of the charity, and most of all the strong beautiful women that work there. They prayed over me and with me numerous times and made me feel so loved and cared for. From the first words with them, to the last they did everything they can to be there for me and show me God's love and theirs ! Nothing but thanks to Abigayle Ministries. I love yall!
Lashonda Hill: Although I didn’t qualify due to the fact I’m pregnant and I have a one year old Tatila Harris provided me with information that changed my life I was on the verge of loosing everything and at the end of my call she prayed for me and lifted my spirits every since then doors continue to open up for me in the name of Jesus so thank you Tatila Harris thank you so very much I appreciate you so much you could of just said I’m sorry we can’t help but you didn’t and I can’t thank you enough you have blessed me and I know God is returning the favor
Ina Aish: They helped a client of ours and seem so pleasant . Their cause is very noble. I'm very proud to have worked with them
Patricia Harris: LOVE THIS ministry helped my sister when she was homeless to fulfill all her needs most of all encouraged her to a closer relationship with God keep up the good work
Jay Double U: Great cause that truly helps women and children in need.
Shay Heard: Were not helpful at all. Lied and promised to email me resources and never did. As a rule of thumb when you go to donate to organizations call and ask them for help first and see how helpful they really are. A lot of these places really don't care about people, so sometimes you have to shop around before placing your donations.

MCREST: what do users think?
Eboni Charles: VERY RUDE DISRESPECTFUL STAFF.! DONT GO THERE FOR HELP …SHELTER …NOR RESOURCES..!
Jason Straub: Great program with compassionate professional employees. If you need help I suggest this progam. Have an additude of graditude and follow thier rules and they will help you.
Andrew Roberts: Good people doing great work.
Bernice McReynolds: There full everyday I call do anyone get helped here.?
Christine Harris: Worst shelter I ever seen.. they throw women and children out in cold if they feel like it..they have men hanging around all day..there rude very unprofessional..I would think there here to help people in need not mistreat them..life is hard enough these days ..they need better staff and more caring people if going make a difference.its sad SMH
great humbled: They’ll spit in yo face
Latoya Gibson: My family member was in this shelter, and she said, they don't really help you, they give you your mail late, they always threatening to throw the girls out, they keep bus tickets and food sometimes from the women and children in the shelter, and they fire the employees that actually try to help the women, they gave them spoiled macaroni and cheese, this is sad, mc crest need to hire people, who really want to help people.
Eileen Tibitoski: MCrest is not all it’s cracked up to be especially since they moved in ther new facility. They have changed. Management just sits on ther butt in the office giving orders . They have No idea how it is .They don’t care about ther staff or the homeless. The other day one of the mothers asked for milk for her baby at 9pm and they said no it’s to late .Than the week before they exited a mother with a new born and 3 other little girls. The didn’t give her life skills training like they say they do. She s out the street again.Plus in house there treated like prisoners. Some of the sandwiches I’ve seen given out in there lunch bag is terrible. I’m sorry this isn’t right.I know I worked there and quit. They don’t even have professional cleaners come in . They depend on the staff to do it when they can. This is mine and others observation and it’s not right l. The homeless are real people tooo.
Jennifer Guinn: I am very happy I was told about this Program 😁😁 the Staff and the volunteers are Absolutely Wonderful💗🌺🌸💜❣️ they have shown us kindness and support! The only thing that I feel could change is the mask rule being the CDC no longer says we have to wear them. All in all it's a great program to those in need but, you have to have the drive to want to better yourself. Thanks xoxo Jenn 😘❤️
sue pleiness: Beautiful new building, to help women and families get back on their feet.
Sarah Lynn Taylor: Love these Ladies, they carry out the Angels Work from the Lord. Bless each and every single one of their hearts. 💜💜💜💜💜
Jeff Zborowski: A very resourceful, helpful, and friendly
Jazmand Holloway: What time requirements do they have for you to be in the facility? Because I work late and would like maybe a night or so away just for a month until I save extra and leave.
Deje Steel: Kind people willing to help homeless women.
David Wheeler: Helping homeless
Coretta Davis: They did not take me in I was homeless still is for now but not long😄
Debra Slone: Mcrest helps the homeless, they have an awesome program. They are in need of new twin blankets for their new building. They do take items in but I would say call before just taking stuff there and ask if they need stuff.
Jay Gibson: If you or someone you know are/is down on your luck or homeless or close to it this organization is a blessing. They offer temporary housing, food, counseling or help with obtaining state aid/Medicaid/bridge card, job training and placement, etc.Extremely helpful people are here to assist where possible. I've seen many men women and children helped by this organization.
Sunshine Laugh: Could clients with places to go
Lynette Hall: Never receive the Social services I need. Never. I have a degree in Sociology. I have never been a drug user nor alcohol. No Substance abuse.
Denise Genereaux: Wonderful Christian Service organization.

South Oakland Shelter: what do users think?
Occie Holloway: Well I call it home! They have to put me out sometimes from being on the computers to long but it's a great place to get help 😊 if your in need of a job or housing 😉 covid-19 has changed a lot things so please be aware of this God bless 🙏🆘
TheDots Brain: Has helped many individuals in the community a great place if in need of services of any kind.
born with vail: They dont help you
Cynthia Gibbish: Jessie is a not a nice person. Cameras everywhere but she let Everyone bully me and she joined in. All other staff were nice. Housing people"lost" my file so it was a waste of my life to be put through hell with mostly horrible homeless women.
Ranisha Williams: I don't know much about it but a good Friend of mine went here and got help tremendously she have housing plus furniture and etc with that being said they get 5 stars
D Weisman: Yep, not so professional and certainly not helpful
Paul Olof: Just amazing these people. #altruism
chris stuckey: A precious gift from the hearts of the best people in earth!!
Mary Beth O'Connell: Good work helping people get back on their feet. Have taken in women and children’s clothes, bedding, toys.
Qween: Called at 9:59 and was told to call back at 10 am. I called right back only to be told I am not welcome without my son which makes me nervous that they are specifically targeting people with kids. They say nothing about catering specifically to families but from reading the reviews it sounds as if they do not allow adults without children to use the shelter at all. Might be taking advantage of people in bad situations and doing something to the children. If you have a free bed and someone is homeless and your promoting "first come first serve" anyone in need who called on time should get the bed. I will not be calling back and if you have small children I do not recommend you take them here.
Keith Jordan: Never had any openings, how are you supposed to get out of the cold without nowhere to go.
Lanette Mullins: Volunteered with my daughter and it made us both feel really good
Sylvia Clark: The BEST in Michigan!
Inspired Images BK: Nice place for those less fortunate. Good volunteers and helpers.
J Wyse: One of the better shealter around but some staff don't really help you get to the next step plus they will kick out the sick/disabled just so they don't have to deal with any liabilities..fyi if beware of "jessica"
LaKeesha Stewart: Very humbling volunteer experience.
Page Engbarth: People there a very helpful
Priscilla Rankin: I just found that they all were just so ready to help in any way they could!!! I just love it there!!
Don Shepherd: Volunteers are welcome. Plan ahead projects are suggested. This agency assists homeless folks with temporary housing options. Must be contacted for more information. I have volunteered here for 25 years.
bill jade: Staff is nice to you if you're a struggling parent or elderly person in need of assistance, but for a young black man, be prepared to be steryotyped and treated like a kid/threat.I told them i have a car and they seemed so shocked as if "a man of this caliber actually having a car!?" Then they did everything they can to prevent me from being able to use my vehicle because it was considered "dangerous" although they have no problem with the parents and elderly folks driving. And then when they realized i had a vehicle, i noticed the staff would look all in my car to see what's in it not knowing im looking right at them. I was also caught up in situations where there would be conflict amongst the clients and certain staff members would automatically assume im the cause of the conflict, which would later be resovled to find out that i have nothing to do with it at all, and the conflict was actually between other clients. The staff is more focused on coming off as an "authorative" figure than actaully helping. They formed a meeting with me to tell me about what i cant do, but cant even find the time to discuss my future living arrangements. They leave a blind eye to clients they like more and try to emphasize order on prefered clients selectively: biased. And if you have any issues, dont expect the grievences to get you very far. They're all friends and business partners, and are working together in sync and will just outnumber they're perspective on you as a homeless smut, subjugating you're opinion as irrelevant, and invalid. They use they're power in alliance to manipulate the order of things into a group home/inpatient-type of infrastructure. They will rush me to take an alchohol test like im holding things up, in the mean-time there will be clients that havent even arrived that they greet patiently and willingly upon arrival.Overall, the services are acknowledgable, but it is a prejudice nightmare of an experience for a young black man but like i said, if your anything but that you probably wont notice any of the things i am talking about. When i stood my ground that they are being irrational they tried to intimidate me by telling me they normally kick people like me out and pretty much left me with the decision to either get kicked out or remain kissing they're behind. I partially feel like they're sending me subliminal messages saying "you're a black man, you where made for the streets. Go back out there unless you want to keep being our pet monkey!"
One Way Up: Very Compassionate staff. Very good programs for homeless people .

Oasis: what do users think?
Hear All Balancer: It's good that there helping the homeless etc.. They need help with getting things in order as far sponsors, staff in order to get things right. Some good staff with some bad apple but that's everywhere now. They need to open up mental facilities for those who need it for it's extremely needed. Not to mention the walk ins are treated and fed differently than those who have a referral
Janiqua Morgan: It’s a guy name Jermaine Jackson who currently lives there who keep calling the police on me for no reason I have been calling this place all day to get help of the matter from the staff and they’re no help 🤦🏽‍♀️ oh I know Is if they don’t. Stop him I’ll be back up there
Courtney Hill-king: The place has miceThe staff lies on youBut no but it's just not a good place for nobody
Alaina: Dey ghetto and nasty :(
Luke Howard: Cuz whn im hungry they prepare the best food💯💯💯💯💯
Quintin Neal: This organization is truly fake, they treat individuals who need help as if they are no better than a stray animal that wandered in their back yard. The majority of the is ill suited for jobs, lacking in understanding and compation or concern for they're plight. The meals they provide especially the breakfast is substandard where it concerns the fact they will be putting men out on the street at 5:30 in the morning with no place to go or find a decent meal in or around the area for many hours. Cold cereal or bowl of Luke warm oat meal that's better suited fixing holes in dry wall. Using the the word ministries is disrespectful in every sense of the word. One would truly be desperate to stay there, sharing space with bed bugs and other forms of infestations.
Cecil Riggenbach: Not enough bathroom
Marvin Travis: Its a great place if you're a complacent substance user and are just looking for a place to lay your head and do drugs. This place provides an infested bed and cold cereal for breakfast and that's it. Please do not come to this place if you are serious about advancement, finding a job and restorative housing, you will be highly disappointed. Nothing listed on their site is services they provide anymore. They will tell you this us a 7-day shelter but it's really a 90 day shheltet so rules and regulations are unclear and should only be discussed with case managers or board directors.
Shawn Overall: Its not all that. It is dirty with bed bugs. But they put you out at 530am if your homeless where the heck do i go until its time to come back at 430pm
Diwani Cooper: It has fleas and bed bugs. The bathroom are ultimately filthy people there are rude the staff lacks in communication especially the blacks there and they don't turn off the lights neither the cots has bad odor to them
David Johnson: They are willing to help those whom want to help them self !!! Men and women....praise God......
Kenneth Bufkin: I'm trying to get back home.I was in the Oasis in 07/08they help me a lot but now,I'm in Chicago homeless. An I need to get back home
carlos Rozier: Far out
