McLaren Homecare and Hospice: what do users think?
Emma Ghostley: McLaren homecare is a joke. The only person I liked was my nurse: Becky!! Amazing person!!I will NEVER go back with them. They are extremely understaffed and when they give you a window of time they don't always come in that time. michelle the supervisor doesn't know how to staff her people out. I was with them for a year. I am homebound and that is why i receive services to access my port. I was going out of town and I would miss one monday with them and michelle told me my insurance would no longer pay because I am going out of town which makes me not homebound anymore. very very untrue. I have been nothing but patient and understanding when they couldn't get to me, even though my doctor wanted me to be accessed mondays. Very Unorganized and not worth your money or time. Highly recommend you go with someone other than them for your healthcare and or your family member healthcare.
Mai Lor: Three words..go else where. This place is unprofessional and the staff does not communicate well with one another. No one ever know what is going on. Save yourself the time and all the inconveniences that this company will cause you and your family.
Pam Strunk: PLEASE GO ELSE WHERE. NEVER RETURN CALLS.. HAVING US CRUSH PILLS with spoons.. Attitudes
s sop: My mom was prescribed home care after a stay in the hospital for pneumonia. That was last Friday. I have gotten nothing but the runaround regarding no communication. I have been told they had the wrong phone number even though I had updated NUMEROUS times. I finally talked with 2 supervisors yesterday and was assured I would receive a call from the nurse this morning to find out when she would come to my mom today. We are now late afternoon and no phone call and quite frankly if they cant get information correctly, their not touching my mom. I will continue to treat her bedsores she developed from her stint in the hospital myself! My mom is a tiny 85 year old woman on oxygen and I am totally disgusted!!
Just Here: Very unprofessional company, I think they have it confused that the family doesn't work for them, they work for us. NEVER on time with a 2 hour window, that doesn't work for me and my family. This is the second and last time with them. They will inconvenience you with tardiness and act like it's ok. Call before your going to be late, not after the fact!!!! Sheri is awesome nurse BTW!!!! Gazla will talk over you and lie right in your face. Seriously thinking about replacing the company all together. First impression is everything and I am not impressed. Calling cooperate now She just lied again and We caught her!!! Stephanie and Robin are RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and UNPLEASANT . I ONLY CHOSE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH MY MOM'S DOCTOR.
Lana karadsheh: Best caring staff ever from the hospital to the home care . Very professional. Visting nurses come one time . Very caring smily faces . I recommend Mclaren home care . Good job
Margetta Fair: Please do NOT entrusts your family member or loved ones with these people...It's difficult enough dealing with the grief that comes when we're losing a loved one...This company their nurses, representatives are not in communication with each other and they have very little process's in place. My dad is currently a hospice patient with Mclaren. I have been trying desperately to get a return phone call for 3hrs.Ashley the administrative assistant stop accepting my calls and just sends me to voicemail.I was told the on call nurse would call me but to NO avail...They don't even have a professional curtesy that would have them prioritize a call back from the facility charge nurse. This place is THE PITS!

Henry Ford Hospices: what do users think?
Greg ONeill: Clean and friendly staff
David Krajenke: I had a thyroid biopsy performed in the radiology department yesterday. The whole staff from reception to the nurses, radiologist snd doctor were absolutely awesome. It couldn’t have been a better experience. Thanks to the whole staff for the work you all do.
Buckwheat: Rude people who hate their jobs.
Kara Wilson: Very good. I was impressed by this hospital.
Tin Man: Rude staff with no empathy. Security thinks they are tough.
Samantha Filek: deliver your baby at literally any other hospital in the area.
Skender Musaka: I broke my foot been waiting in the ER waiting room room for about 5 hours now
Michael Davis: I’m a very optimistic person but this hospital failed me twice for the same problem. First time I waited in the waiting room for 4 hours before I decided to check out. Second time, I thought I would be smart and show up the next day at 4am. To my surprise, I got right into a room and waited 5 hours for a surgeon to come in. Oh and yes I’m still here waiting. Very very poor service.
Shannon Rospond: Don’t bother using their lab!! The wait time is absolutely ridiculous!! I waited over an hour to pee in a cup. I would NOT recommend!!
Tammy Johnston: Gave 1 star only because I had to. My husband was just discharged today. They don't give him his meds or insulin. He got no breakfast or lunch. His sugar dropped to 40 last night and the walked in gave him 2 small things of orange juice that he's not supposed to have and left his room. He called me in the middle of the night because he was still feeling very bad. I had to call them and tell at them until his rude nurse went back in to check on him. He could hardly talk..
Judy Cummings: My Drs. Are the best. Dr. Eddie El Yussif, and David Slapyznski P.A. I just had a total knee replacement. They are very professional, knowledgeable and very kind.
Mariam Almaree: The worst hospital when asking questions they didn’t give answers they keep at the hospital wondering you asked they don’t know and the doctor takes forever to come and explain. My mom she is patient there they didn’t help her she is waiting and waiting and there no answer for her about what is going on. And I come before and here as aPatient and I was suffering from UTI and they didn’t do anything to help me with that even the game couple times before
nick hermiz: wow the best nurses in this Hospital..they helped me out within an hour only. God bless all the staff very friendly
Valerie Testa: Terrible! No one knows what's going on. Poor communication and even worse care. Never again! I cannot wait to get out of here and never come back. Don't waste your time coming to this hospital, you'll die before they even notice.
Sidnee Sayers: NEVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. DRIVE THE EXTRA 10MIN TO BEAUMONT TROYUpdate 4yrs later: I was forced to go to the ER (should have convinced the driver to take me to Beaumont) and had yet another horrendous experience. The ER nurse accused me of faking my symptoms for meds and security left me with over 30 bruises on my body. There needs to be a 0 option. Doctors dont care about you. I had one of my biggest panic attacks in front of the nursing station and not 1 moved while they watched me. Another patient commented they heard me and finally got someone.I was there for a grand mal seizure and was treated like I was there for a tiny cut.
Melissa Majewski: I took my husband in at 9:20am didn't leave the hospital untill 4pm. For a MRI for neck and spine. Previously had a cat scan done 2days ago at 15and Ryan Heneryford only there for 2hours. You decide what one had better service. to find out the same thing not happy.
GGs.bangers: I walk in with an issue and walked out feeling worse no help I just got seen then sent home I was there for 4 hours. And still got no help
Jaime Shedlock: Chelsea and Tammy on 3200 floor made it happen today for my dad! Thanks to all of the angels working their butts off for patients!
Lidia Saroki: They don’t deserve one star. We couldn’t make an appointment for an MRI until we spoke to the pricing department since we were paying out of pocket. After waiting a month for this appointment, we were asked if we would sign a financial waiver the night before the procedure. We told the rep we had already received pricing, she then told us that wasn’t all that was going to be charged! What was the point of calling the pricing department if they didn’t give a detail of what we would be charged until THE NIGHT BEFORE. You want a waiver signed so that you can charge an obscene amount of money. These hospitals are nothing but crooks!!
Mary Therese: Jennifer R from the ER department goes above and beyond for each patient. She allowed both me and Dad to come in to the ER and she had a lot of experience and great bedside manner. She is an angel. She is the epitome of what everybody in the medical field should strive for!!! She was really understanding, and honestly made everything so much more comfortable for us!
Kelly Sunshine: Amasing hospital had great care here from all the staff from the information desk staff all the way through surgal and nurses even the people parking cars for outhers all where polite ,kind, empathic , informative, and curtious would deffently recomend this as a top hospital and tho i hope to not have to be a patient here again any time soon if nessary and i had a choice where to go for hospital care Henry ford macomb would be at the top of the list.

AccentCare | Hospice & Palliative Care - Greater Detroit: what do users think?
Lee Barber: Would give zero if I could. Mother was in hospice for one week, only visited a few times by hospice nurses. Promised music therapy and nutrition services - never happened. Worst when in final hours uncaring unsympathetic nurse seemed bothered by having to come out. If you care for your loved one don't use this service!
Autumn Potter: Run far from this company, they are horrible to work for. Field staff ( nurses/aides /etc ) are all amazing, but office staff is very rude and disrespectful. They treat you like slaves and have no compassion or empathy towards their staff. The supervisors degrades you and talks to you like a child, and the scheduler constantly changes your schedule, they are horrible with communicating and you go into a visit very blind sided.I was having some health issues that caused me to miss work a few times, but I was making appointment to figure out what was going on, have to have MRIs and scans of my brain to make sure nothing is wrong. They showed me no compassion or sympathy, instead they wrote me up and gave me a final warning to no longer miss days. And lastly here’s the kicker, they refused to offer me bereavement because the policy don’t consider aunts or uncles “close family “I lost my aunt and uncle all within a week of eachother, and yet they still refused to offer me bereavement, even after I reached out to them and told them I was struggling and had a hard time. They thought that was the perfect time for me to come to the office and had a “meeting “ I declined the meeting because again I wasn’t in a good headspace, and since I had previously been disrespected by my supervisor in previous meetings, it wouldn’t have been a nice meeting if that were to happen again. So they decided to let me go because i refused to meet with them!Run far from this company, there is better ones out there!
Dennis Dolinar: Accent care has been her since 1st day home from hospital. Supplies showed up the next day. The supervisors, nurses, aids, are all very good. The supplies are always on time & schedules are always keep within reason. No issues & very pleased with this company. Strongly recommend Accent Care.
Beth Hinman: When we needed the support and care for our dying father at the end, they were not there at all. They did not send a hospice nurse to administer medication that might have eased my father's passing. When I tried to follow-up and get answers and a response, there was very little and too late. When I spoke with a supervisor to vent my concerns, the response was a letter of apology referencing a patient I had never heard of and certainly was not my father. Clearly an indication that Accentcare does not care and cannot be trusted. DO NOT USE ACCENTCARE for your loved one's palliative or hospice care.
RJ Fischer: My father getting shingles and having it for weeks wasn't important enough for the Seasons staff to notify me about or give an update on until he was actively passing and I had less than 12 hours to see him before he went.It would have been great to see him somewhat "together".I'll never forget the phonecall I had where I had to explain to the staff how irresponsible this was where the only response was "Oh, we're sorry".Do not recommend - find another hospice or palliative care group.
Mary MAZZA: Seasons Hospice was the best thing that happened to my Momma with her battle with Dementia. Along with the nurses at Rivergate Terrace, Lori, Moms Hospice Nurse made sure Mom received the best care that she could get. Lori was always there to answer questions or explain something I didn't understand. Chaplain Lonnie gave Mom and I spiritual support anytime it was needed. Many time I called up him for spiritual support or prayer. Momma liked to sing and Natasha (the music therapist) was there to sing with her and uplift her spirits with song. Then there was Lauren, Momma's social worker. She was my rock. I'll never forget all she did for my Momma and I. I never hesitated to call upon her when I needed to just have someone to talk to. She called on me to see how I was doing and gave me moral support when Momma was passing and throughout her tenure with Seasons. I am Blessed they were there for me to call upon.
Holly Salbut: My husband only 52 years old passed 11/29/2020 - the compassion, the continued support thru everything, the truly caring staff that has become family, even after he earned his angel wings is up and above what any Hospice care give. I thank you for making the worst days into peace for me and my family.I can not say enough wonderful comfort care, we received. God Bless you all.Holly Salbut
Linda Stachowiak: I’m saddened that my family’s experience with this hospice provider wasn’t better as the limited staff we came in contact with were very kind. Unfortunately, there were missteps right from the beginning of my father’s arrival home including no hospice nurse support until 5 hours after his arrival. His pain pack of meds arrived 7 days after his entry into the program - a day after he passed. After 4 days of using meds we had on hand, I had to call Seasons Hospice to insist meds be provided even if it meant me picking up meds from the local pharmacy. The day of my father’s passing, I struggled to get support of how to ease his discomfort. Upon my initial call for help in which I expressed an urgency to speak with our assigned nurse, I waited 25 minutes, watching my dad continue to struggle to breathe and feeling nauseous, and still no call back. I called for help a second time asking to speak to any nurse available. I was told someone would call me right back. Five minutes later I called for a third time yelling that I needed help as my father was gasping for air, unable to speak and turning colors. I will never know if it was truly my father’s time to die or if it was because we couldn’t get the direction we needed to properly help him. I wish we would have had the support in those moments either giving my dad more time or a more comfortable passing.
Robin Craig: The staff at Seasons were wonderful. We did not know anything about hospice or what to expect. She was in the hospital and they made sure she could remain there, taking so much stress off of us. They ensured the hospital staff was managing her care and pain. When the hospital staff did not live up to Seasons expectations, Erin (RN) took quick action to move mom to another wing of the hospital where they were more skilled working w hospice patients and provided the proper meds to help keep her comfortable on her on her journey. I highly recommend Seasons when you are seeking hospice care for a loved one.
Maureen Thompson: My mom started with seasons shortly before Thanksgiving of 2019. They were amazing! Mom was treated like a queen! They kept me up to date on everything. At the end, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Mom passed comfortably on January 27 2020. I even received follow up calls and condolences. Best decision I ever made.
Hope Dudek: Seasons provided care for my mom through the last months of her life. They helped her spend her time at home with family (even Up North at the cottage!) instead of in doctors' offices. They helped manage her pain. They were there to answer questions in the middle of the night. The chaplain prayed with my parents. The aide helped her with bathing so my dad could get a break. She died peacefully and comfortably at home.Full disclosure: I'm a proud employee of Seasons (9+ years and counting) and I actually switched jobs from another hospice when my mom was diagnosed with her terminal illness: I knew she'd need hospice care and I wanted her to have the very best. Mission accomplished. Now I get to help others get the best end of life care, too.
Maria Woods: Amazing service I am a nurse in a LTC and they were always available
Ron tulloss: I just want to say Seasons was great. My mom was in need of their care towards the end and they were always kind visited regularly and keep me in the loop. Id like to thank them for the kind touch and im not sure who is was but i want the especially thank the woman who came out for music therapy, her and my wife got together did a video i will cherish forever of my mom before she passed singing to her and got her to sing a bit and say i love u Ron to me i love it so much whoever she is id love to know her name and tell her please thank u it means alot... Everyone was great nurses and all. My mom Charlene Tulloss, please tell that woman thank u
Nino Cugtas: We are a small Assisted Living Facility, Garden of Hope Senior Living, and one of our residents utilized the care of Season's Hospice. I can only say just how much care the wonderful staff of Season's Hospice gave to our wonderful resident. Season's is very knowledgeable and was able to walk us through each and every step with care and love.I loved our nurses, aides, social workers, everyone! They communicate very clearly, they are respectful of your time, and most importantly each and every appointment was pleasant. They had a chaplain come in who was very pleasant to work with. They also had a musician come in and sing songs, and the entire house became so peaceful.I cannot thank Season's Hospice enough for their professionalism, their passion for caring, and their love they clearly put to all of their patients. We have worked with other Hospice companies before, and by far, by a mile, this company has exceeded expectations and is the best that we have worked with.Their nurses, their aides, their entire company is the epitome of CARE, LOVE, AND PASSION.For patients, families, and other medical professionals looking for a company to help their loved ones through a very challenging time in their lives, Season's Hospice truly is a place to go to..Thank you Season's Hospice! You gave us many days of peace of mind, that alone is priceless...
Southern Day: They provided excellent care for my family member.
Alana Hassell: I worked for this company from 2008-2012 and the only reason I left was because I was truly tired of being targeted daily. I was written up after being sent to homes of racist patients relatives to care for patients. If I complained I was written up, falsely accused continuously, and lied upon by facilities that I was sent to. After the nurses came to my defense proving that I was in fact telling the managers the truth about my experiences I was still written up and threatened to lose my job. I would never recommend Anyone to work for Seasons Hospice. Terrible company
mustak vaid: They ask employees to do things that are unreal and treat those who stand up for themselves unfairly. Lots of unhappy ex employees.
Irfan Usmani: Seasons Hospice employees are overworked and underpaid. They have unrealistic expectations for their employees that cuts into patient care. They are expected to document after hours without pay or compensation.
Peggy: Season's hospice provides compassionate comprehensive care. Outstanding people work at Seasons, starting with Corey who came on a Sunday, was extremely patient, knowledgeable, flexible and kind. He arranged for services and an exceptional nurse came the next day. Extensive services provided quickly. My husband and I are both physicians and have been very impressed with the care this hospice provides.

Evert Health: what do users think?
Sharen Howard: My family and I have been working with Evert Health for many months now in connection with the care of our elderly father. In the many doctors that we have connected with on this journey, NONE compares with the care and compassion we have received with Dr. Vander Vliet and his wife. We have called or texted on weekends and during holidays, and without fail, they have responded in a timely manner. It is not just their responsiveness; it is their efficiency! When they say that something is going to be done, it is, and quickly. They are truly compassionate and caring people and genuinely have the best interests of the patient and family in mind. We are thankful every day that we found them!
Greg Peterson: I would like to compliment Dr. Vliet for the care and attention he gave to my mom while she was going through a difficult time in her life. He was very compassionate, caring, and thoughtful when she was in his care. I highly recommend Evert Health to anyone who wants to deal with a first-class doctor that really cares about his patients.

Elara Caring: what do users think?
Julius Reynolds: Took all of my information then had to decline because they had me waiting more than two weeks to get hired and doesn’t communicate properly.....
Terri Calabrese: It was the day before Thanksgiving of 2021 when my mother started the dying process. I needed portable oxygen to get her home from the horrible hospital, and oxygen set up at home. Elara went out of their way to help me and my family bring my mother home, so that she could pass with her loved ones in her home. Amber, our nurse, was incredibly informative, friendly, and most importantly, available when we had questions or needed her. No one would help us the day before Thanksgiving. Elara Caring showed that they do care. I cannot convey the quality of the assistance provided at one of the worst times of my life. They were there for us. Highly recommend them for hospice care.
Martina VanHuysse: Elara hospice is phenomenal! We had a ton of drama going on with the hospital when we were trying to get my grandmother home on hospice. Once we heard Elara could do a same day admission the office staff worked diligently to get her at home and portable oxygen system to us timely. Within 6 hours we had my grandmother home and resting comfortably with her O2. 3 hours later a nurse came to admit her. Every staff member that came into our home was amazing. Grandma was comfortable and peaceful till she took her last breath 2 weeks later. Would highly recommend Elara!
marie byrski: I read all the reviews, both positive and negative. My experience with Elara staff and services was nothing but fantastic. My husband, thanks to them and the loving care they gave to him, was gifted with being able to pass peacefully and pain free. Now, three months later they still call occasionally to see how I and my family are coping and if there is anything they can do to help. Their "job" doesn't end with the final breath of the patient but continues on to those left behind.
Alyssa R: They took excellent care of my mom, Kristin, during her final 10 days on earth. Thank you guys so much for keeping her comfortable during her last days.
Logan Latosz: My relative was admitted, nobody saw him for weeks. Terrible communication and disorganized management
B Mitch: ELARA Hospice was terrible grandpa came on Tuesday 2 days before Thanksgiving. They said we would have our medical supplies and 24 hr support. Well the day after my grandfather passed which was Tuesday morning 10 hrs later we got our supplies. And every nurse contradicted what the other one would say on the phone especially. They took hrs to come and weren't very apathetic. Like this is just their job and it isn't a human life
lana basim: Best caring amazing team
Jacqueline Kupper: AE Kevin is very helpful and a great asset to me as a social worker in the healthcare industry! Highly recommend this company.
Jen Son: I have enjoyed my 6 years with this company. Patient care has always been the first priority. They truly care about the people they care for. I have always loved my team. Even used their services for my step father.
Sandra DeMaria: This place is the worst! A Maggie came to my neighbors and backed into my son's car and just left. His car is smashed and no cares. So Maggie got a way with a hit and run just wondering how she takes care of people!!
Christina Viviano: Church of Christ said they missed a morphine and Ativan dose. He struggled thrashing and in pain. He asked for more medication. He looked us all in the eyes and begged please and said everything hurt so much. He was in pain. The male hospice said he was “over reacting” and we “all needed to go home and relax” and he “wasn’t going to pass for a few days” because he’s “seen this before”. The male hospice grabbed him from him arm chair that he clearly wanted to stay in- after a struggle with me- as I made mention to him multiple times to leave him- also as he was struggling to sit back down and stay- and hospice said he just needs to go to bed because of “over stimulation”. He continued saying that the family was “over stimulating” him, he continued saying and I quote “he’s not dying... he just wants the attention tonight”. He wanted to stay in his arm chair. He was then forced to his bed. He thrashed around and cried in pain. He died a few hours later. An entire family is sitting here crying with thoughts of watching him die thrashing, crying, asking for more pain medication. He wasn’t comfortable. It was terrible for everyone involved. We are all still suffering from this each and everyday.
Monica Jones: I don’t ever recommend anyone receiving any therapy, nursing services nor ordering supplies from this company. All they care about is money if you order too many supplies or if you have too many complaints about something they figure out sneaky ways to silence clients by discharging them without notice. The staff has a bad habit of lying and pretending they like you when they really dont. it’s the worst experience my family and I have ever countered. their name doesn’t live up to expectations. Medical staff and administration have nasty attitudes. BE WARNED*****😡😡😡 the owner response will NEVER help 😡😡😡😡 it’s too late now
Theresa “Resie” W.: Really decent place to work, as far as Nursing is concerned. The management is pretty supportive.

Premier Hospice LLC: what do users think?
Shae Warren: My father was only with premier for a short time but every interaction was outstanding. During one of the most difficult periods of our lives, they made it easier.
Suzanne Turgeon: Betty, Hospice Nurse, was extremely caring, knowledgeable, honest, and truly a very gifted, skilled, passionate, and loving woman (angel!) Our family was blessed to have her care for my brothet, but us as well as his caregivers. Not only did she make him comfortable and pain free, she educated us on exactly what to expect. We also had a wonderful social worker who was more than kind. They both helped us understand this journey and helped our minds and hearts prepare for his passage with faith to a better place. Thank you
Mike Cionka: Lori and the rest of the staff were top notch when caring for my dad during his final weeks. You don't have to hire the hospice company that a nursing home or memory care facility typically works with or recommends. Be sure to talk to Premier Hospice before choosing a hospice company for a loved one.
Kathleen Rainko: Until recently, I have never seen what Hospice can do for you, only heard people say that “My Mom /Dad is in Hospice.” Everyone should take the time to see what Hospice has to offer you as well as the person you are caring for.If you think you may need Hospice in the future, call them before you need them. Don’t wait until you feel it’s time to call Hospice but let Hospice tell you when’s it’s time for them to help you. I waited and unfortunately contacted them late in Moms process, and therefore, only had access to them for a day and a half. Not long I know, but they did so much in such a short amount of time, I was amazed, still am. Just know that Hospice will help you as much as they will help the sick. They help in ways you never even thought possible or even needed help with. They support and comfort the sick as well as those caring for the sick. They understand Caregivers and what they are going through while caring for a sick loved one. That a caregiver is also suffering and will experience many emotions, including different types of pain, along with guilt and sadness. Hospice is an amazing institution and I will always be thankful to them.
