n8 B: If you want to grow with garbage nutrients or you need someone to explain to you how to follow one of the nutrient schedules this is the place to go. If you want to actual grow good plants with quality inputs then go somewhere else. I found myself teaching the store clerk more than he was teaching me. Not to mention the shape of the place, plywood on the outside of the building, hundreds of ballasts and used trimming equipment in the doorway. I can't make this stuff up I'm surprised they allowed to stay in business.

K Campbell: The staff are what makes this the best grow shop in the area. Most other local grow stores are staffed by unhelpful "bros" who are largely clueless about the products they are selling and seem bothered if asked a question. That's not the case here, in fact multiple HTG staff members have given me solid advice and helped me troubleshoot problems and offer specific product recommendations even when those products weren't the most expensive they could have tried to sell me. The prices here are fair, particularly on nutrients, and the HTG rewards program allows for rapidly acquiring points towards future products. The best shop for miles around, easily.

Tom was the guy who hooked me up with a quality light at a great price. We had to order it but it is perfect for what I needed. The store is large and it is very clean and very organized. HGS is taking the Covid precautions seriously. Only 3 customers allowed in the store at a time. .I joined the loyalty rewards program..it's free..and I get a discount now! Really like this place and the people.

James Meldrum: Loved this place at one time. Very close to home. Nice staff. However they never have CO2 in stock. Never. It comes in once a week (usually delivery is late aswell). Been trying to get CO2 every week for months and months and they are always out. I just don't understand why they don't order more at a time or have multiple deliveries a week. I'm typically very patient but what pushed me over the edge this week is I call the day it comes in and find out they do have it but all the tanks are spoken for aka pre paid. Didn't even know that was an option.
Brent Collins III: I had some flooding in my basement around June of last year. I had a grow light and got water in it. Went into find another plug and see if it worked. I was helped in every way possible. I received my light plug, and I found out that the lights still worked. I am very appreciative of the help I received, and will return when I am in the area.

jeremy green: I’m relatively new to growing. I stopped in because it is on my home from work. I’m the type who researches , reads and asks a lot of people input. It can be overwhelming with so many different sources and opinions available. These guys really stepped up and simplified the process for me. I went in one day frustrated with a PH problem & questionable meters results. I walked in ready to drop $$$ on a high end PH meter. While showing me the meters he asked questions about what was going on that I felt I needed that meter and I showed him pictures and talked about my regiments. Being new he could have easily sold me a $200 meter, but didn’t. He took the time to ask questions and learn about my grow. Set me up with some nutrients , gave advice on dosing for my particular strain and hooked me up with some samples. The honesty and taking the time to ask what I was doing to set me on the right track is much appreciated and is what keeps me coming back. Thanks guys.

chris valenti: I started growing a year and a half ago, and there are tons of hydro stores in my area and hydro king keeps me coming back with quality products and the best prices, but mostly the staff, they've been more than helpful and they've loaded me up with so many freebies and samples I've been able to try several lines and find out what works best in my garden, not to mention Tony's own feeding schedule with advanced ph perfect products, great for beginners and a serious line if you know what you're doing. Bottom line 18 months of shopping around and internet searches and I've found that their prices rival Amazon and the quality of customer service is unmatched, they even returned some stuff for me cause I realized I didn't need it :) this place and all the employees are awesome! I definitely recommend it.

Tom goes out of his way to help with your needs and answer your questions. Tom and Matt are typically there, they keep the store spotless and everything easy to find. If you ask them they will offer multiple ideas, pricing and if needed they'll order what you need.I'm glad I found this gem store!
