Raj S: Was in the area for a few days so stopped by for some groceries. The Staff is welcoming & helpful. Found the Store clean with every item over stocked. Its a decent size store for Indian groceries & found everything I was looking for under one roof. In fact, some of the items I found which I cant even find at Boston stores. Must try their own brand Pande Kesar Raas (Mango Puree). It doesnt have added sugar & tastes almost natural. I'd go back when in the area.

Tomandjerry7861: Undoubtedly the best place for purchasing Indian groceries. Prices are fair and their produce section is always fresh. Best part is the owner. He's a very mild mannered person and doesn't treat you like an object (as some other Indian grocers in the area do). It you need Indian or Pakistani grocery items, I would highly recommend India town.Note: Try their fresh samosas. They're out of this world!!!

I am showing you receipts here One is the charge and one is refund.....The owner was trying to rush me to sign the receipt and I got suspicious and then found out that he is changing me a jacked up price than what was mentioned on the shelf ($1.29 for Shan Bombay Biryani).....When I explained him that under Michigan law it is a fraud and I could ask for a price difference plus $5.00 for each wrong price. This new owner called the cops and thought that I will be scared. before the cops came in he refunded me for the items . Cops came in and advised me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as what I shown to them was clearly wrong.Just be vigilant and look at your receipt carefully. A complaint will be file with BBB as well.

I would recommend this place if you are looking for kerala specific groceries..

A'vierre: I went into the store for the first time excited to try new recipes and skin care products but the owner watched me down every isle. When I asked for advice and assistance he rushed me and said "you pick, you pick". To top it all off he moved my hand away from pulling my card out and made sure I didn't take the basket out the store. Horrible experience and was so uncalled for. Treat people how you would want to be treated; especially when they are buying from you funding your pockets.

TP: The store owner is soft spoken.Make sure you carry your debit card or cash if you are going to buy items of total cost less than 10$.You can get fresh vegetables on Thursday and Sunday. Do call the store store to check if fresh vegetables are arrived on that particular Thursday and Sunday.

They have low a price label on the shelf but when you check out u see a different price . If there’s a little variation I would accept but it’s double the actual price which I cannot agree. The person at the register doesn’t have proper answers. I’m so sorry and totally upset with this place . I was charged for a item but not found in the bag then I had to go back to the store to verify and he apologized for that . This is ridiculous .

psudhakaran: Price is slightly higher than other indian stores. Two times the idly-dosai and other batter had fungus! Snacks packet was sometimes old too! But vegetables are good.

KV P: I wish I could give no stars, this post is mainly about the Aarya dosa batters. We live in downtown Detroit and drove all the way there to buy some batters to get through the rest of our week. The box had a sell by date as 11/9/22 and i bought it a week ago and when I opened it tonight to make dosas it’s rotten. I am used to buying lot of batters from Patel brothers which stay good for a week even after opening. I wonder how long the batter has been sitting in the store.Very disappointed. Will never go back.

Isaac H. Verhelst: One of the best Indian grocery stores in the area and that I’ve ever been to. It is clean, the store is well organized, the staff and owners are the nicest people. Items are reasonably priced, and wonderful quality. And the best part of this already amazing store: the samosas. They make the best samosas I have ever had, and I have had a fair few. I cannot recommend them enough

Somnath Roy: In Troy, this is one of my favorite India grocery store. It is very clean and well maintained. The owner and staff are very friendly. The best thing about this shop is you not only get fresh vegetables here but also yummy Indian Chaats. My favorite is the Samosa Chaat. Another favorite item is the freshly made sugarcane juice. Frozen food brands are also available here.
