Amber Sajewski: The best place to go locally for all your plants and SUPER knowledgeable staff. I've bought flowers, veggies, herbs, and bushes from Ekerts, and they never disappoint. Last year, I waited too long to buy veggies, and they no longer had some of the things I wanted, so I bought what I could from Ekerts and bought the rest from a big box store. Well, my Ekerts ones completely blew my big box ones out of the water. More harvest, healthier plants, etc. You never know until you try, but I'll never go back to big box. #EkertsForLife
Carey C: Not a super bargain like some others have said, but the prices are reasonable.Selection though is off the hook. Anything and everything you're looking for, and some stuff you're not. I got sucked into that vortex of seeing a plant that grew in my yard as a child and ended up buying it for nostalgia's sake.Do buy their "Eckert's, Potting Mix"! No more Miracle grow for me, now that I found this mix. My flowers and vegetables are doing great in this mix. I even used it for my repotting my house plants, and they're diggin' the mix too.If you plan on frequenting there, get their punch card, but note, it is only good for the season you start it in. I had a full card I wanted to use from last year, and they wouldn't let me.

Kathy F: Eckert's has been my go to gardening spot for over 12 years . Great staff knowledgeable and stupendous plants to pick from ❤ I wrote that from before. All true except one change the gentleman who was writing up my bill. The girls at the register said he has the final say. I spend over $300.00 at least each season. I found only one of the hanging begonias in the color I needed. It was damaged only one tubular was still alive. I asked if it could be marked down. He replied nope and continued tallying. I was also over charged. I figured that when I got home. I was so upset by his demeanor I really just wanted to get out. There were two older women in front of me that also were treated like an inconvenience. He wouldn't listen to what they were trying to say. I'm giving it one more try tomorrow.

Kareem George: Interior plant service from Planterra has always exceeded our expectations. Eric, the specialist that would visit our home, was always punctual, friendly, efficient and anticipatory. We started using a plant care service to ensure that our plants remained healthy and to assist with trimming, repotting, etc. It was also extremely helpful to have consistent guidance on watering, sunlight and other important care factors. Moreover, we have several tropic plants that require special monitoring.

Jeffrey Atto: Planterra is one of the more unique destinations in West Bloomfield.They started as a business that provided sales and maintenance office plants, and they had operated out of this very old greenhouse for many, many years. Then several years ago, the old greenhouse was razed and a new conservatory was built. The new building contains a stunning living wall behind the bar area, and although it doubles as a gathering venue, they do still provide interior landscaping. Planterra has provided service to some family friends of ours who had trees in their entryway (indoors), and they have helped us with our office plants over the years. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and helpful.
