Hello Fun Life - On YouTube: Great office I was in and out today for my physical in about 22 minutes. Everyone was very nice and gracious and willing to answer all my questions. Been coming to this doctor office for about 7 years. Been in the Henry Ford Health System for about 14 years I love him before so easy when my records you can follow me to any office that I go to.

Jenise Stewart: I truly LOVE my Pcp. Dr. B. Is the best. It's hard to find an office where they truly make you feel like family. They are great listener's. Very accurate. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

john marino: I have been a patient of Dr. Massey's for well over 10 years. He has always been polite, patient with me and shows concerns for any issues I have. It seems to me that most of the negative reviews about him come from patients looking to maximize the amount of pain or psychiatric drugs they receive. HE IS NOT THAT TYPE OF DOCTOR. He definitely will prescribe the medications you need to regain your health but I don't believe he has much tolerance for drug abusers.His staff is generally helpful as well and go out of their way for you.

No name: The office staff was VERY rude. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had left a message in the morning. I did not receive a call back by 10am. I called again and the recording said it was lunch and they were closed. I called again and it said the office was closed for the day at 2pm. I called again that same day around 3pm and a lady answered, she was very rude from the start. I said “oh you’re open” and she said “well yes“. She belittled me and made me feel like my questions were not important. I was going to be a new patient. Then she says in a degrading voice if you don’t have insurance we won’t take you as a new patient anyway. Even if they did take people who self-pay at this point I would not have made an appointment with this doctor because of his office staff. Go somewhere else!!! Read the rest of the reviews. The phone is rarely answered and when it is; you seem to be bothering them rather than feeling like their trying to help and assist you in your medical needs. The office staff is the representation of the Dr. and this first/last impression was a fail.

Lindsey Dandar: This dr showed me no compassion pretty much laughed in my face over a serious manner...will never go back...has terrible bed side manner...lied I have no respect for him as a good dr because he is not a good one.

Jamie: I think he’s probably helpful and good to his patients as a PCP but as a suboxone doctor I don’t feel like he is particularly understanding or empathetic. I don’t feel that he addresses my concerns about my mental health or other health issues. He has told me that I won’t withdrawal from suboxone which I know to be false from personal experience. I told him I was suicidal and severely depressed and he told me to find a doctor who can write scripts for that - he can only write suboxone and I was uninsured at the time so that wasn’t happening. Again, when I had a UTI for three months straight showing in my urine samples he didn’t offer to help with antibiotics. I even asked if I could pay cash and be seen as an urgent care patient bc this place is run from an urgent care. He said no. I struggled with depression so severely the nine months I was with him and he didn’t care at all. He knew I was uninsured - told me to find free counseling.Every other doctor who has given me suboxone by the way has also treated my depression. They weren’t psychiatrists they were internists like him. So I don’t know his deal. My best guess is he’s money hungry and wanted to bill me as a cash suboxone patient and bill insurance for him to be my PCP to write these basic scripts.I found a new suboxone doctor last week and he was so great. So empathetic. He immediately wrote me an antidepressant and I literally fell to my knees crying and said “thank you. I’ve been suffering for so long”. I think empathy and feeling like you’re being treated like a human being is very important in recovery. So I don’t recommend Dr. Massey at all.I gave him two stars because his staff is wonderful and kind. They never made me feel anything less than I was. One nurse or medical assistant in particular took the time to sit with me and tell me how she turned her life around and how I can do it too and it motivated me and made me feel like she truly cared. I also gave the two stars because I am grateful to be on suboxone as it saved my life and he is the one who wrote it for me (albeit with terrible bedside manner and no concern) when I really needed help. But now I need a doctor more knowledgeable about coming off of it in the future and especially one who will take my concerns about my mental health seriously.
