Joshua Sowders: I was in this part of town looking up places of interest; this came up under "yarn" which they have but it's mostly crochet and I'm more into knitting. First time I ever got to hold a skein marked $60 in my hand. While they had some noro and malabrigo the prices seem a little high, the skeins light and the yarn only small sizes.

After checking patterns and yarn for about 20 minutes and no one approached me. I left feeling very discouraged. I was hoping to meet some new people and improve my skills.

Cindy Arnold: I love this shop. High quality yarns and staff that is so knowledgeable and helpful, regardless of your skill level. Have never felt talked down to here. Yes the yarn is more expensive than your local Craft big box type store. So just know that going in. They have many completed items out of the yarns they carry which allows you to know how something will knit or crochet up. So helpful when you are selecting a yarn for a specific project! Nothing worse than knitting with a yarn you don't like, or a yarn that isn't at all what you want the item to feel like when you are finished!

Connie Hutchinson: Beginners beware!I started a new class -10 people Only 2 of us beginners . Owner was rude, obnoxious, and too busy talking about herself and her mood to help me. She gave me 3 min to knit 20 stitches which I completed in no time and couldn’t give me another min to show me how to pearl. But she could sit down with another beginner without any problem. Just rude and unprofessional.

A Horstman: This is a great shop for people who knit, crochet, or do other yarn projects! The workers are friendly and knowledgeable, they have so many yarns to choose from, and they offer classes and kits! I took home a fun crochet gnome kit!
Elise Osterbrink: I absolutely love this store! I would totally recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in anything to do with yarn. There's a massive variety of yarns to choose from organized in a sensible way. Many of the yarns are pricey but they're so worth it- the most expensive are usually extremely high quality (incredibly soft natural fibers!) and locally produced. All of the staff are super friendly and readily answer questions. They will also make balls from the big loops that most of the yarns come in. I haven't signed up for the classes yet but I will soon- they look like a lot of fun and there is still a lot I know I can learn from them! They've earned a lifelong customer and I will always love coming back for anything crochet I will ever need!
Sandy Connor: I took a private lesson from Lori Sheffield the owner. She's very nice and helpful. She suggested a modification to the blanket pattern I'd chosen which made it way easier. She gave me great ideas for yarn selection. I will take classes when I return from vacation.
Jennifer proch: I wish I could give more stars. There is a wide variety of different yarns and the owner is so nice. She pointed me to the type of yarn I needed and helped me pick out a bunch of colors. She also gave a free ball of yarn because it was my birthday. I can’t wait to go back.

Megan: The owner is very rude. I am a young emerging knitter and wanted some help with how to pick up stitches along the first sweater I was knitting. It's okay to tell me I have to pay for a sit-in to ask questions, but what turned me away is that THE OWNER wouldn't let me sit with my mother that was taking a sock class and just knit my own sweater. I had to sit, with a wall dividing us, knitting across from the rude owner who put me there. That is how you turn away a young professional who could actually afford to shop here.

Jesse: I came here when I was in Michigan to see family and stepping into this place felt like I'd walked into heaven. I wish I'd had more time; I could have happily spent an entire day--or two or three--in this store. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the store itself felt really inviting. Best of all, they have an amazing selection of yarn (and books and notions); my only problem was deciding what to get.(I was also thrilled to discover their online store, since I live in another state. I can order the yarns I couldn't afford when I visited, without having to send my sister on a scavenger hunt later. Though I trust she would have had plenty of help from the awesome staff.)
