I came to her through a recommendation of a friend, and she accommodated my request with short notice, while working with me to find a time that worked for us both. I am usually somewhat skeptical of getting my makeup done for events because it can sometimes look a little intense on fair skin, but after showing her a couple of photos and answering a few of her questions, she quickly got to work. An hour later, I was left with the most stunning makeup that didn’t budge until 3am, when I washed it off. Everyone was commenting on it all night. I will definitely be a repeat customer anytime I’m back in Michigan.This service was performed in her house. Her professional makeup room was very clean, had great lighting, comfortable seating, and a wide array of high-end products, to include Nars, Becca, Charlotte Tilbury, and more. Moreover, Nertila’s practices were very sanitary; she sanitized products after each use and was mindful to use disposable applicators. Payment was a breeze, as she accepts venmo, PayPal, etc. This service for me was very professional and salon quality. I highly recommend her. As a bonus, I also loved that she offers other packages like one-on-one makeup consultations and whatnot for everyday makeup.

Rose Shamoon: Ash is not just an esthetician, she is an artist. I have unfortunately had my eyebrows butchered by many salons over the past years. Upon my first appointment, Ash spotted the flaws before I even sat on her chair (literally). I was so glad to have finally found someone who knows what she is doing! She has a meticulous eye for detail and knows how the structure of the face is supposed to match the eyebrows (like an artist). She is very dedicated to her work and puts 100% into what she does. Highly recommend this place for "brow rehab", even if it's pricy (you get what you pay for). Reavy is also incredibly kind and makes every visit a blast! I will not go anywhere else for my eyebrows and will wait as many painstaking years as I have to, for them to grow out with Ash's help.

I was sent an email by her assistant to remind me that they don’t give reimbursement per their contract however, I am able to use this deposit towards a future event. Which I agreed & replied via email. Since coronavirus lasted for 2 years, I never had a reception for myself. So, per that email, I requested if I may use this towards my makeup for my younger sisters wedding that is soon approaching this summer. I was going back n forth with the assistant & finally ended up being ignored! She tells me I can no longer use this deposit that’s from 2 years ago! How is this even logical!? As a business, you need to understand the circumstances that we all had to face with corona! If you’re this good at being an artist, you should learn how not to play & steal peoples money!!

Yasmine Ramouni: I tried booking with jjobby and I’ll tell you that this person isn’t honorable and tries to add random fees. Look at the attached invoice. On the phone with her receptionist I was told she adds a $170 travel fee. When I received the invoice the travel fee was $210 to travel 30 minutes to me. I said that I would travel to her and then I was ghosted because her random fees are just a way to up charge. How do you charge someone $3.50 to book online? Shouldn’t that be a cost incurred by a business owner? $500 for hair and makeup for an engagement is ridiculous and I was willing to pay that but it’s bad practice to not respond to somebody because they don’t want to pay a travel fee and would rather travel to you. In my opinion she’s shady in her business practice.

Arlene & Abe: Jahura and her team is absolutely amazing! I was referred to JHobby by friend of a friend. Boy am I glad I found her! I initially worked with Jahura for my engagement pictures, I absolutely fell in love with her work! By this time, I had signed another makeup artist to do my wedding makeup, however, I wasn’t that impressed with their bridal make service. However, due to Covid-19, there were limited makeup artists that were available and JHobby team were not accepting clients for 2021 yet!
