Healing Hands Holistic Health Center School Of Massage: what do users think?
Lana A: Highly recommend this school, the best place to learn massage!
Rick: Best massage around. Ask your friends who do massages chances are good Dennis from healing Hands probably taught them.
Karen Auger: Positive:Professionalism,ValueI really enjoyed going here. What a variety of weekend electives to choose from. I loved the hands on training, smaller class size and the cost. If you are thinking about a massage school check this one out!!
Kimberly Vandevelde: Currently enrolled and really enjoying the school. The small class sizes offer you more time for one on one learning. The instructor takes the time to make sure you understand everything he is going over. I would definitely recommend this school to others.
Jodi Linzner: If I could give this school 100 stars, I most definitely would! I graduated from Healing Hands Holistic Health Center, November 2015. It is affordable, welcoming, works with almost any schedule. The owner/instructor is one of the most caring, compassionate people I have ever had the chance to meet. The absolute best part is, this school is set up to let you be any type of Licensed Myomassologist that you choose to be! The well guided, year long program was developed in a way that I got to make decisions about where I wanted to focus my career. I felt supported, challenged and excited all year long!!!! Great place to start a great career!! Highly recommend!
Scott Schrage: Empower yourself and those around you with a profession in Massage and The Healing Arts. This is by far the most affordable and comprehensive school around. Enrolling was one of the best life decisions I've ever made
Kyle Scheffler: I have had nothing, but good experiences with this place. I went through the program back in 2013 and I enjoyed every minute of it. The class sizes are small and you get the personalized attention you need from the instructor. This school is perfect for people with busy lives as it offers classes everyday of the week both day and night. I highly recommend.
Anonymous Anonymous: only cares about money.
LK 1988: If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I attended Healing Hands Holistic Health Center School of Massage back in March 2017 and I decided to become a yoga teacher later. I communted 2 hrs to school and when my car issues. I let my teacher know in advance and He lied to the VA stating that he didnt know where I was and he put on the form I dropped out causing me to hav $581 in debt with the VA and also on my credit report. I sent the schooll a recorded call from the VA on what form needs to be filled out but they ignore this so this fine is on my account for the next 7 years. If you are looking to be a healer I would recommend try to teach yoga or become a personal trainer dont go to this place if you want the teacher to care about you. The place seems to only care about the money they get per week from students.

Irene's Myomassology Institute: what do users think?
Loyalty Beyond Measures: I taking care of by Tessa, most relaxed I’ve been in a long time. I will be scheduling another session so. Thank you Tessa, your career is Bright. Peaceful journey
Maggie Hineman: Before attending Irene's. I reviewed 5 different schools in the area. Not one could hold a candle to Irene's.This was in the early 90s ( When Irene was still with us).The Body, Mind, Spirit approach she supported was not only unique but in tune with the needs of the "world".I have enjoyed owning a Spa in Livonia and practicing the profession of Massage Therapist for nearly 3 decades. I truly feel my success was contributed to the Mind ,Body, Spirit approach employed by Irene's Myomassology.
Kania Kennedy-Kerma: Irene Myomassology Institute- Instuctor: 👎🏽- Massage Therapist: 🖖🏾- Kind: 👎🏽I had a stroke and they knew that. I was feeling dizziness, I want water. You must go. Kindness👎🏽
Kim R: I'm a past graduate of Irene's and I will shout the schools praises until I die. It was by far the best experience of my life. It was truly life changing, not only for me but for all my former classmates. I watched it transform a lot of people personally, for the better . The knowledge the staff has and shares, the friendships you make, the massages you get weekly and watching them change and get better each week, the positive energy that's in air - you feel it as soon as you step into the school. It's where you want to be to learn everything there is to know about massage. Thank you Irene's for all of it!
Dallas Kennedy: Planned to attend this school for massage therapy however, the only person that seems knowledgeable and helpful is Michelle. I went to speak with Jeff he seemed extremely uninterested in helping me to attend this school. The conversation was a complete waste of time for questions that could have been handled via phone. I don’t think the staff understands that not all people have the luxury to waste time. I was honestly excited to attend but have decided to explore an institution in Ann Arbor that seems to be more encouraging.
Bill Roney: I went on a tour of this massage school with my fiance, Brittney, who will be attending this school shortly. We were led on the tour by a remarkable woman, Michelle, she is very knowledgeable of the practice of massage and the history of the school and the woman who started it Irene. Michelle answered all of our questions explained everything about the school and the curriculum. Michelle then took us on a guided tour of the entire School. If you are interested in pursuing a career as a masseuse this is the school you want to go to, I highly recommend Irene's Myomassology Institute.
N: I’ve gone for 2 massages recently; one at the Irenes clinic and the 2nd with a massage therapist who told me they recently graduated from the program. In both cases the massage therapists conducted “energy work.” Without asking if it was okay. This feels very uncomfortable and intrusive. Who is teaching these therapists to perform forms of Reiki without asking? No thank you.
Thea White: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueHelping my temple stay the very best !
Casi Croll: As a current student at Irene’s I could not be more happy to have chosen this road and school. The instructors are all so wonderful, and just want to see you succeed. Kathy ( the owner ) could not be more remarkable! Running a school and being so accommodating to everyone and their schedule especially during a global pandemic is really incredible! I am so delighted I decided to take this leap and come to Irene’s I have learned so much already and can't wait to see where it brings me. I would definitely recommend Irenes as it is so much more than just a school.
Jennifer Pechumer: Irene’s Myomassology Institute is more than just a place of education. During my experience in the one year program, I implemented growth and improvement in my everyday life. In my experience, receiving a practice massage every week for a year healed deep cellular trauma in my body. Massage has transformed my mental health and I want to sing it from the rooftops! Besides therapeutic massage is a career on the leading edge of holistic healing!
Jill Kovach: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueEveryone here has always been so friendly! I’ve had my favorite massage from someone who attended school here and would highly recommend anyone going here for their massages or training!
Kaneesha Hill-Johnson: I am an Alumni at Irene's. I enjoyed the myomassology program. The program expanded my knowledge about how the mind and body work together. The instructors are awesome. They want to see you succeed in your massage therapy career. I felt prepared to take the MBLEx through Irene's program. I highly recommend attending this school if you want to begin your massage therapy career.
Linda Millar: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityHad a great experience at Irene’s. With all of the stress lately I wanted a massage, but with COVID-19 I was concerned. Irene’s took great care and precautions that set me at ease. I feel so much better after the massage. I will have to go again soon! Thanks Irene’s.
Wendy Harmon: Positive:Communication,Quality,Value
Deb B: Irene’s is a great place for an amazing value massage. My daughter, a since graduated swimmer from Wayne State, has used Irene’s many times for massage of her back and shoulders while she was swimming. She loved it and they were able to get the knots out and she was able to swim a bit more painlessly! Would highly recommend.
Alison Huston: It needs to be pointed out how professional, considerate, and attentive this school's office staff, instructors, and maintenance workers have been during the Covid-19 pandemic. The amount of care they took, from the very beginning as the outbreak was recognized, to the careful consideration and process of allowing students the begin courses again on campus speaks volumes. Irene's has gone above and beyond to make sure staff, students, and clients have been educated in new protocols set to keep all safe and healthy and I for one cannot be more thankful. Online classes were provided by dedicated teachers and those who could not make the classes were individually accommodated. Kathy (the owner) has been apart of every single step in ensuring our well-being and that says so much about the pure quality of this school alone. As a student before the pandemic, I will say that all classes and instructors are exceptional. If you would like to learn massage therapy and have a passion for helping individuals, this school will feed your soul and get you where you are meant to go. Do not be disheartened by massage therapy because of the pandemic, be thankful and take advantage of the fact that such a school strives not just for your education, but your overall health and safety to the capacity that Irene's took it.
Tunyatip Kerdsapsin: I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of both the theoretical and the practical classes. My teachers were Dana and Steven (Hand On Classes) used to explain very complex theories in a very simple way, easy for everyone to understand.Thank so much for everything you have taught me. XOXO
Destinee Walker: I absolutely love being a student at Irene’s Myomassology Institute. It motivates me to be a better person, student, and business person. I love how all the teachers and staff care about your success and always providing encouraging words and even everyday motivation. I love just how everyone cares and the energy in this building is unmatchable and so dynamic you can feel it touching the door handle. This place rock🤘🏽
la far: A relaxing massage, inspiring conversation and, therapy equals the best $40 I've ever spent👏👏👏👏👏👏
Rochelle Cook: I am a new student at Irene's and the first word that comes to mind from being here is amazing. I was impressed by all the courses that I saw where offered at Irene's. No other massage schools in Michigan had this (Trust me I looked). Than when I came to the school it was such a serene beautiful atmosphere. All the staff shockingly matched the ambiance that surrounded the school with there smiling faces. Everyone is so helpful and in a good mood. I have been to other schools and I have never just felt good while being there. This school really is good for the mind, body and soul. I'm really glad I found Irene's. It's changing my life for the better each day I come.
Stephanie Reno: As soon as I walked into Irene's I knew it was the place for me. My mom had a gut feeling this was the best place for me to learn and be successful but when I walked in I knew for sure. The staff is extremely welcoming and everyone is genuinely kind and caring. The past 2 months have been great and I have learned so much from the staff. I cant wait to continue learning and graduate in June 2020. Thank you to all at Irene's for welcoming me and making me feel so comfortable and at home.

Massage TJ Spa: what do users think?
Dawn Regan: We booked a couples massage once for a date night and 6 years later we both still go regularly! Highly recommend the 90 minute massage where they walk on your back! The owner is great and can usually get us a sane day appointment last minute around our hectic life schedules!Treat yourself, you can’t pour from an empty cup!
Thel: My husband surprised me by taking me to dinner and a massage at “massage TJ Spa” My husband drop me off as soon they open, so I was their first customer of the day. My masseuse was Name Mimi!! The establishment looked clean and the atmosphere seems quiet and relaxing for the most part! Now as far as the “massage” it was just ok!! It was Literally basic!! It stated off “OK” until Mimi performed the Hot stone massage! I was burned not once but SEVERAL times as she applied the hot stone to my body! I jumped and said “Hot, hot that burn” several times!! Mimi just passively giggle and apologize however, I didn’t find anything funny!! I couldn’t even enjoying my massage because my back was burning and sore from the hot stone! The atmosphere turned from calm and relaxing to just Loud! I can hear customers coming in/ checking in! Walls so thin that I can even hear guest unpacking/undressing! Hearing their entire conversations among themselves!!This by far was thee WORST massage experienced ever!! On top of everything, I still tipped her! PLEASE do not allow Mimi to give you an “hot stone” massage! I literally got burn scars on my back right now! WILL NOT RETURN BACK HERE EVER AGAIN!! They are lucky I didn’t demand my money back!! Listen Just don’t go here please save your money go elsewhere!! You been warned
Jessica Westb: Go somewhere else. Tip we tried to leave wasn't good enough. we felt what we left was good for the services that were recieved. We were bummed rushed on are way out. They want you to leave $30 tips per person. Not worth it.
Rana Yousif: Love this place! Tj is always so nice!
Dave Pyper: I had a great massage here. Very nice people and everything was clean. Wonderful visit.
Brian Collino: Owner is a fun and friendly person. Workers are very skilled and very professional. This place far exceeds the chain spas at a fraction of the cost. Pass you savings on in tips!
S T: Amazing service by Leah. The owner was kind and caring. Great experience.
Hunter Ward: I’ve had many massages and tried different parlors. This one was very professional and nice staff. Will definitely be coming back to this place more often.
Steve Holder: Thanksgiving turkey rub down
Scott Kolesar: My wife and I had a great couple's massage and no issues about being hounded for tips or attitude from the owner like other reviews are saying. Everyone was very professional.
Princess Jewels: Massage was horrible… we had. Couple massage. We literally had to tell the women to move to different areas. Didnt use enough oil til the massage was hurting. Tried explaining to the guy ..the owner he told me I was wrong and his girls and best In the city. He MADE me give a tip and was no concerned about our issue and was VERY RUDE. NEVER GO HERE AGAIN
Chelsea Rodriguez: I like this place. Front staff always super friendly and professional and gives great customer service. I had Lucy Lou as my masseuse 11/10/21 she’s very good! To be honest I’m a little particular but I don’t say anything I like to let the masseuse do their thing & see how it goes. Shes a rockstar! She found all my trouble areas without me telling her. She worked them out pretty well. I didn’t ask for extras but when she noticed I needed a little TLC she brought out the hot stones and it was so soothing. She’s also very knowledgeable about the body and did different stretches with me. I got back pain relief because when I went in I was definitely sore and I left feeling better. I did get stress relief for that hour as well very relaxing massage yet just what I needed for my aches and pains. Would schedule again with this particular masseuse.
Shannon Lukity: My husband & I went for couples massages and it was so disappointing. The owner raves about professionalism, but yet the two giving us massages were talking to each other during the massage, and we could hear everything happening outside of the room, the room was freezing and to make matters worse, we tipped a decent amount and the owner had the audacity to ask us to pay them more. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Won’t be back.
Soo Smith: Super nice experience. Scheduled a deep tissue massage asked for hard pressure. I got what I asked for. She popped some back bones and some hip joints. The therapist knew her craft I got moved around and twisted to make my limbs more lumber. As a female factory worker I don't want to talk that much. Fix the issue even if it hurts. The therapist knew what she was doing. Walked out feeling like Jell-O.
Hassan Yassine: Critical:Professionalism,QualityMassage was horrible and I’ve never seen a spa so disrespectful ever. I couldn’t tip because I left all my cash at home. I walked into my car and he chased me to the car and started threatening to physically attack me because I didn’t tip. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!
Estefanio Kesto: I paid for a couples massage and the quality of the massage was far from great, but it also wasn’t the worst massage we received. Definitely won’t be coming back. My rule of thumb for a good massage is that I should be walking out at least slightly sore and that was not the case with this massage. In essence, my significant other and I paid for 2 people to rub our backs with lotion. Quite disappointing to say the least. These 5 star reviews must be from couples who have never received a massage in the past. When I made my appointment the gentlemen on the phone boasted about professionalism. Yet, I tipped both masseuses and they had the audacity to ask for more…. And they were quite blunt saying “give more money?” I followed up with “no that’s your tip” and they followed up with “but you give more money.” It was as if they weren’t even gracious of receiving a tip in the first place. My tip reflects the quality of the massage and the quality was quite poor. It would have been a 2 star review if they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable asking me for more money.
Kaitlyn Washburn: Positive:ProfessionalismCame for a couples massage, we had Gina and Mickey they were absolutely fantastic. TJ the owner was very welcoming and super sweet. We will definitely be returning!
Leslie Helton: Highly recommend! Polite and professional. TJ was very kind and explained everything when he found out it was mine and my fiances first time getting massages.
Nicole Webnaz: Leah was great . Wonderful massage . Very In tune to problematic areas and fair pricing . I go here monthly .
Bella Lapuz: Boyfriend and I went in for couple's massage and were beyond satisfied! Tom and Lucy were great masseuses. The manager promptly scheduled our appointment and was cordial. We will definitely be coming back! Only grievance I had was the small amount of noise in the hallway. Otherwise, very relaxing atmosphere, we were very refreshed afterward!
Victoria Pandy: After the massage was over my husband and I left a tip in the room and the lady came back out of the room and asked for more money. We were told that they weren't begging and that it was professional massage. I get that but we felt what we left was good for the services that were recieved. The lady coming back out of the room asking for more money made my husband and I both uncomfortable so we won't be returning. All my friends that have massages claim the money that we gave was more than enough. As they are massage therapists and that's all that they get as well and they consider it a great tip.
