Edgerton Cemetery: what do users think?
TheRaven4090: Nice
girlytoads: Enter this beautiful cemetery through the condo parking lot on Schoenherr. Plumbrook directions will only get you to a fence ☹️
Stephen Warner: I grew up on Cloverlawn in the 70's and 80s. We used to play football on the flat, northwest side and sled in the winter on the hill. There are many headstones that were damaged when I was a kid and don't see them now. When I've been back its very hard to get in without climbing the fence. Before the land between the cemetery and Schoenherr was developed there was Old Schoenherr that ran from Cloverlawn/Utica Rd over to the 7-11 on Plumbrook. So many memories in that place. I hope they can maintain it forever. Great work Walter Sands!
Dave Cook: There is no entrance to the cemetery

Cadillac Memorial Gardens East: what do users think?
Joseph Chester: The need arose to bury a loved one in a plot I've owned for over 40 years. I've moved numerous times since then and needless to say it was time for an account update. I live out of state so my initial contact was by email with Steve Smith who was very helpful. A month later, while in Michigan, I sat down with Carolyn Sedrowski and she was amazing. Personable & professional and answered all additional questions regarding my account and burial options. Lots of family & friends are here and I have great trust in their care with CGME.
Margaret Topous: Wow! Where is the perpetual care that they rave about??? Drastic opposite from Resurrection Cemetery nearby. Just there this morning and then went to CMGE to check on graves of family. More families need to see the state their loved ones grave are in. 😠
Gayle Ventimiglia: Extremely poor customer service. I stopped in the the office two months ago. I spoke with Norman and one other gentlemen who I can't recall. Norman was the better of the two but still not great. They had no idea what the Care Memorial Society was. I showed them the wallet card that I have and neither of them were familiar with it an did not seem interested in finding out. They had the opportunity to make a copy of my card and could had researched, but no such luck. I asked a few other questions that they could not answer and left my number with them. As of today, I have not received a call back. Also I was told that it cost $1,500.00 to add the ashes to the Niche which is a crime in itself. When the niche was purchased, we were told there would be no other cost, which is why my mother purchased as she is on a fixed income. All they do is lie and cheat. Also, the grounds are unkept, debris/garbage everywhere, no trach cans, rotting wood, graves covered over. Just despicable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY CADILLAC MEMORIAL LOCATION!
Chris Standifer: I had an absolutely phenomenal experience working with Alex Castonguay to help plan the service for my loved one who passed away. Alex was very kind, professional, and answered all my questions about the possible options to choose from. The memorial service went off with no issues and was exactly what my loved one would have wanted. I would highly recommend working with the staff here, especially Alex Castonguay.
Linda Sellars: Some many places to start with this 0 star review. My grandmother, a World War Two veteran, has had no marker to show her finally resting place since 1997. Three years in trying to have a marker placed have been detailed by these people who run the show at this cemetery. After paying what can only be described as an extortion fee by everyone in my family still no marker placed.Trust me and my families experience do NOT place love ones remains here. You will regret it.
Frank Stonehouse: Many family members are buried here. I went to place flowers on all their graves in October 2021 and the grave markers were all covered with grass … no cones for flowers … and the place seemed abandoned and poorly maintained. I feel like my family deserves better. I pushed away the grasses the best I could without the proper tools at hand.
Lisa Bolos: Just talked to a.lady yesterday about items that was on my sister's grave an she said we can get them off since they was removing the stuff SundayGo today (Thursday) to get them an they had already thrown the stuff away
donna Nalezyty: They will take your money and this is what they offerCadillac Memorial Gardens East has been designated by the state as a Perpetual Care Cemetery, meaning that the resting spaces for you and your loved ones will be maintained from now until the end of time. Ashley Nicole: These men showed so much compassion and jumped right up to lift my grandparents' gravestone and level their plot. Ed, Larry and Norman, your help was all very much appreciated!! 🙏
Laura Suessine: My dad, mom and sister are buried there. This is an excellent place. My older sister and I went to visit and the staff took my sister out to the graves on their golf cart because couldn't walk that far because of cancer. They were great!
J l: I enjoyed it
David Sawicki: Veterans section should be kept up better
Tee Venti: Helpful staff and beautiful grounds.
Carol Kalvelage-Bohn: First time here. I had to drive around the outside of area to figure out how to get in off of main roads...perhaps I missed an entrance? Not sure but all I know is that the main entrance is at an Intersection and I was not able to go across and turn left! There is a huge no turn left sign on the street and on the traffic light but it was not easy for me to get in. Just a heads up! Lol...however...Inside was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful grounds, well kept, quiet (obviously) but no noise from main road. Many many sections and gardens. I was able to locate the gravesite because I was on the phone with my Uncle. If this is your first time looking for a site, I would suggest calling a relative or the main office. I did not go in main office but it is right there in front. Easy access. I did not see many peoe but the grounds keepers were very respectful and kind to me as a visitor. I'm very glad I went here today. Very healing grounds.
Jamie Sweet-Burrows: My loved ones are in the Greek section. I like the setup of the place, easy to find the location I am looking for. Easy access from both major roads
leah soutar: I have a lot of friends and family buried here. I have been working here for almost a year and this place is really turning around. The staff is awesome, grounds crew are great, and our families are giving us complements every day! Give us a chance to change your mind and come see us!
Christina Blank: The new staff and owners are really turning this place around! They show compassion for families when they lose loved ones, and are trying their best to turn the older customers opinions around to be positive. Stop in and see the difference!!!!
Tyleen Phillips: My brother passed away last April 16, 2016. Melissa was awesome. She was truly helpful, sincere, & made sure my brother's site was well taken care of when I couldn't make it out. She went above and beyond. I love the cemetery, the staff, & the groundskeepers. This last year was very difficult on me, but Cadillac Memorial Gardens helped me get through it and were very compassionate and understanding.
Meredith Wronikowski: I am sad to see many poor reviews of this cemetery. Both my grandparents are buried here (this was because he was a Veteran, otherwise they probably would have been buried elsewhere by other family), but all I have ever experienced is a very nice and peaceful place. I also have a friend buried here and have heard of no problems. I also was treated nicely when inquiring the location of my past friend's grave. I will note, today while I decided to ride my bike up to my grandparent's graves, I witnessed someone drive right through the grass to leave onto 17 Mile Road as there is no fence. Even though it looked like there were no grave stones in that area (couldn't tell from the distance), I felt it was super disrespectful. The cemetery may want to consider placing more roth iron fencing along open areas to prevent this. Otherwise, I have no issues.
Jackie Herring-Prescott: Funeral held for Vera Laursen was here in their chapel. Very beautiful service. Could have supplied a microphone for the PastorHere with Donald Herring
Mark Grabow: The Most Disrespect I have ever experianced in my entire life--- Not did they only MISPLACE my fathers body 25 years ago they misplaced my mother in laws body and mismarked the grave 30 years ago -- I understand it is not the current owners fault but they refuse to do anything for the family even move the mismarked grave stone or notify the other families involved. The story is so deep and horrible you cant believe it now we can not place my father in law because we are not sure where anyone really is. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from EVERY using this HORRIBLE company MMG Midwest Memorial Gardens are liars, thieves and ZERO respect for the deceased or the living family members are even worse and now they are destroying the precious things that people leave near the graves. I could understand if it was a problem but they dont even trim around it-- The People that have this issue should band together and file a class action lawsuit and bring the state in for the mismanagement of this company HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE . I can be sure not one of those employees have loved ones there! Trust me this will not be the last you hear from me!!

Resurrection Cemetery: what do users think?
Steven Kern: Don't ever Lay your love one to rest here bought a niche for my mom put a little plaque on it , they giving me nothing but trouble in my time of grief....they are taking it Down iam so sad 😭😭 it's had enough to lose my mom they making it harder for me, it says, I love you Mom..... taking my mom of this cemetery...I'll take her home where she belongs.... 😭..
Chris N: My experience with resurrection cemetery is 95% positive. The majority of the staff is very supportive and helpful and the grounds are properly maintained. I visit my grandparents grave site twice a week and it’s very beautiful and peaceful. The only complaint I have is the grounds crew throws away our European funeral lanterns regularly. We specifically chose this cemetery due to the large number of Polish friends and family buried in the “Polish section.” With my large family there is someone at my grandparents grave site every day. Most resent (this past Wednesday) we visited for my grandpa’s birthday and lit candles in the lanterns. These candles last 2 days….. My uncle went the next day and everything was thrown away (lantern’s, candles, and flowers.) My mom attempted to call the office to see if we could get our lanterns back and an explanation. She was transferred to a very rude staff member named Lyn who was argumentative, spoke over my mom and transferred her to someone else before my mom could get a question answered. Luckily we spoke with someone else who had kindness and compassion, however we still don’t have an answer. I would expect when staff has a bad day, they don’t take it out on grieving family members as Lyn has.
Linda AccettolA: Could you please post the proper dimensions for plot flower boxes We would appreciate it Thank you
Manuel: The only good reviews are from families that buried their loved ones with no idea how this cemetary operates. They move burial sites without filing proper paperwork or informing the families & have had more than one instance where they have “accidentally” destroyed another persons grave while digging a new one. It starts from the top, but there is little accountability outside of the person replying to all the reviews to make it seem like they care. Operate better. Get better systems in place. Hold the grounds keepers accountable.
THORINtheRED: These people will defile the remains of your loved ones, and then hide the evidence. It will take a judges order and the news media for them to admit even a modicum of guilt. They are money hungry, sleezy, and care none for the respect you expect for your deceased loved one. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
Mark Young: George Horattass went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail as to what I should expect!
Rian Boyle: Resurrection Cemetery is very nice
Lisa Campbell: Good service but you pay through the nose for it. $21k for my BIL’s crypt is an obscene abuse of customers who are in need.
Motria Schulte: It was a pleasure to do business with Resurrection cemetery. George Horattass went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail as to what I should expect! All the staff were cordial, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. Not to mention that the grounds are immaculate!
SENAN alqoshnaya: My dad sleeping here for one year and half, this place it's clean and very quiet I like sitting next my dad and talk with his soul ,I feel better when I did that, thanks for all your service ,awesome stuff 🌷🌷
Lori Waters: Beautiful, beautiful Cemetery!!
k ran: This place has the worst groundskeepers. They constantly damage tombstones. Office doesnt care, they just want money. Find somewhere else. I wish I never came here.
Alex Moose: Sick people. Avoid this place. They’ll pile trash in your grave and avoid a TV/phone interview. The only way you’ll find out is when a rogue employee sends you photos.
Sheila Carbary: I hopped on here to get directions. My dad will be gone 2 yrs tomorrow. I am shocked at all the bad reviews I've seen. It is a very beautiful cemetery. But I was angered when they moved my grandmother without even telling the family. When I looked for her I couldn't find her. She was in the middle in one of the crypts. I finally found her on the bottom in the next section. It just is such a disrespect to the family to not be told. And from what others are saying about flowers being regulated. It's not a showroom! You should be able to adorn the graves the way you want. All flowers are beautiful! Still really upset that they would not tell us that they moved our loved one!
Maryann Ulicny: Beautiful, peaceful and well maintained
Donald Bo: I was overwhelmed at the compassion and professionalism that we received throughout the entire process for my mother. Dave Ferrara was very patient and accommodating. The cemetery grounds are beautiful. My heartfelt thanks to Dave and the entire staff.sincerely Donald
Renee Campbell: I am so disappointed in resurrection cemetery for allowing the sacred grounds to be used for event parking. There are plenty are parking lots to use for the fireworks, and I find it completely inappropriate and upsetting. I tried to reach out but Tim has yet to get back to me…
anna mastrogiovanni: Very well kept grounds, awesome staff, several burial site options.
Julie Haase: I am so disappointed. I live out of state, so I can't regularly tend to my grandparents' plots. Yesterday I was in town and stopped by. I walked past several headstones that were completely under water, which I understand happens sometimes. When I got to my grandparents, my grandmother's headstone was sinking down to the side and my grandfather's was completely missing. Someone had poured dirt and grass seed to the left of his grave and also all over his headstone. I had to dig out his headstone from under several inches of dirt and mud (luckily I had work gloves and baby wipes in my car), and when I finally got it dug out and cleaned up, I found scratches on it. I understand needing to lay down dirt and grass seed so there aren't giant spots of mud everywhere, but to carelessly cover someone's entire headstone in the process is just disrespectful. I didn't have time to check my other family members' resting spots while I was there, so now I'm going to worry what they look like until I can get back again.
Richard Mieszanek: This place was wonderful and peaceful to visit loved ones don't know what happened in llast year or so we visit loved ones often in section 10 and it seems like workers don't care anymore the grounds are a mess stones covered in mud can't even see some of them deep tractor tire marks all over we have been in office three times and nothing has been done I've seen flags cracked flowers not put back please get this place back to what is was
Amy Koza: This cemetery is beautiful. I have purchased from them twice. The customer service was patient both times and they cared about my concerns. They even sent compassionate videos about the grief process, after the burial.

E J Mandziuk & Son Funeral: what do users think?
F Cherry: October 15, 2022 was the worst day of my life. It was the day I lost my son. He was only 27 years old. A part of my heart and soul left my body that tragic day. The days that followed was met with tremendous grief, sadness, and unbearable pain. Despite the grief, planning the funeral service was still required. I wanted the service to be in the community were he went to school and grew up, so I chose E.J. Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors in Sterling Heights on the corner of Ryan and 18 Mile Road. I set up a meeting with Director Ms. Makenzie Blain. I will forever remember Makenzie because of her compassion, patience, kindness and professionalism. I remember asking her if they would be able to handle my son’s funeral and in her soft voice she assured me that they would. After I agreed to allow them to handle my son’s funeral service. She called me later that same day notifying me that they had picked him up and had him secured at there facility. They did a timely and exceptional job. His celebration of life was beautiful. I would recommend E.J. Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors to all my friends and family of all cultures, religions and ethnicities. I want to commend Director Ms. Makenzie Blain for her compassion and patience in the most difficult time in my life. She was a spark of light in the most needed time of my life.Makenzie you are an exceptional person and I will never forget you.
Theresa Marino: Truly this funeral home is wonderful. My father-in-law died recently and they took it from the phone call to the end. They took personal care and kindness of our family. The funeral home answered our call 2:40 a.m. and was here within 40 minutes. They did a beautiful job at the funeral home for him and our whole family. My father-in-law was laid to rest at a military cemetery here in michigan. The funeral home brought his casket to the cemetery in a classic Packard.
Lydia Jakovski: Excellent, compassionate care and service. We thank EJ Mandziuk and Son for the recent services completed for my grandfather. All of our needs were anticipated with professionalism and care. Samantha and Sarah were a pleasure to work with and we are grateful for their attention to our wishes and needs. Thank you all for helping us navigate this challenging time!
Shelby Daiek: unfortunately this funeral home will only get 2 stars from me. due to the lack of organization with my boyfriends dad’s burial. the vault that they ordered was not at the cemetery before we got there-that’s a different issue i have with the cemetery. the woman who had been helping my boyfriends family in this terrible time-she was amazing and helpful- called the home and they had not given any information on the vault. the funeral director is an amazing woman. she is the only thing validating the whole thing
Wendy Hagen: We couldn't have asked for a more compassionate staff and beautiful place for our family member's memorial. They were accommodating with our wishes, visitors and supported us throughout the event. It takes special people with a great love for others to do what you do. Thank you Lila, Jeff, Samantha, Linda, Larry and everyone else who helped us.
Andrew Roberts: I can see why people are dying to visit the place. Always been great place to bring dead people. Kidding aside, I've been to several funerals here. Always pleasant and respectful.
Renee Jamil: Jeff Mandziuk and his staff are amazing. They were so easy to communicate with and so accommodating. They made planning our dad’s funeral as painless as possible. I would recommend them 100%!
Borce Blazevski: My grandma passed 2 weeks ago. We needed to find a place that was cheep and good and that new the whole Macedonian tredition set up. Our priest sent us here and we could not of found a better spot only because one lady. I cant recall her name but she made all the calls for us and did literly everything. She made sure everything would be perfect. I could not tank her any more. The rest of the staff was just ehh. This lady was truly aussume. Thank you for taking care of all our stress on top of what we where gping through. Honestly I cpuld not thank you any more! You derserve 10000 stars.
A Siva: I walked through through their doors in shock and extremely tired.Huge miscommunication at the beginning around father's cremation...If I wouldn't have shown up there because I sensed something was off, who knows what would of happened. I was completely blind-sided and then felt dismissed by one of the funeral staff instead of figuring out what actually happened. It made for a very stressful week! They do not know how to hold space for those who are grieving.Thank God the day of the service was good...I waited until after service to email manager/owner. I know email was received, yet NO response.Go elsewhere.
Samantha Spencer: This funeral home is very big and very nice. They have a seating area, a cafeteria, plenty of space for people to sit and talk as needed.
Dean Johnson: Anyone reading this review has or may soon lose a loved one. Jeff (E J Mandziuk & Son) has my highest recommendation. My father passed away in Florida, and I live in Mississippi. He was from Detroit, so we decided to lay him to rest near other family members. Knowing my father would pass soon, I first touched base with Jeff and he provided costs for removal, embalming, transportation, etc. The next day my father passed, I contacted Jeff (in the wee hours of the morning) and he went into motion and started taking care of things. That was the start of his assistance. He worked with me to save money on the casket, vault and other expenses. He even assisted in securing someone to perform the service since neither my father nor siblings reside in the area. Overall, he made a stressful and emotional event easier. Jeff was professional and respectful of my father’s passing. My family is grateful.
Mike Cionka: Don't bother dealing with this place with the a-hole funeral director. I called him the other day to ask him about my dad's social security death benefit. I was polite and respectful on the entire call. His response to one of my questions, in a raised voice was, "Your dad is dead." Way to be respectful towards my father. A-hole.
Kristi Walsh: Very nice, beautiful and wonderful people
Alicia Penman: The staff is very nice and professional. And the funeral home is very nice
Gabe Smith: They don't care. It's just extremely saddening. At a time of loss, the one thing they need to do is show empathy.
Lisica's Lounge: Discreet, Professional and well versed in all Faiths of Burial services. Located on the corner of 18 Mile and Ryan with plenty of space for all sizes of funerals services.
norma demott: I had the misfortune of losing my son this past March. The staff here was so kind and compassionate in our time of need. I will never forget how they've went out of their way for my son. Based on this experience alone, myself and my family will use their services in the future. Thank you Sara.
Sharon Bradshaw: I have been unfortunate to have needed their services for family, friends and to be honest I couldn't have made it through any of my losses with out the help of the Mandziuk family💞
Pete B: Great service.

Otto Schemansky & Sons Inc: what do users think?
Kustom Hooligans: Very nice people. This is a family owned business. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. They answered all the questions I had and they were very patient with me and offered great ideas for the headstone I needed. I would definitely reccomend their services.
Nancy Wise: My order of monument took almost a year. The work was good, but the time frame was frustrating.
Tazzman 225: Did a great job on my mother's gravemarker and the people are easy to work with.
Rose Middleton: My family has had a few headstones made from this family owned company. Paul and Mary are the kindest people. Their work turned out beautiful. Never disappointed!
Laura Fiori: Great people, great service and great prices!! My family has used this company for years without complaint!
laura MALOCZEWSKI: This company was a pleasure to do business with and I strongly recommend them . Not only were their prices great, I had issues with the cemetery in regards to my husbands headstone being installed. Mary was very helpful in helping solving this issue and it was taken care of in timely fashion even though it had nothing to do with her company. Very warm and compassionate people, top notch family business hands down !
Denise Denis: Has taken more than seven months to get a basic grave marker made and delivered to the church

Acacia Park Cemetery: what do users think?
Laurel Bates: I visited for the first time in 20 years last month after we had moved out of state about 10 hours away. My great-grandparents, grandparents, an uncle, and my infant daughter are buried there. I was so sad to see the condition of their graves. My grandmother, who died 9 years ago, was the last person buried in the family plot and her grave was alarmingly sunken in. My daughter's marker was completely grown over with grass and dirt. We tried to wipe things off with some paper towels and water from the car but it was not enough to make a difference. I went to the main office to get a holder for flowers as well as ask for a way to clean the marker and headstone and even though there was a car out front no one came out after I stood and called out for 5 or so minutes. My family's headstone doesn't look as though it's been touched since I saw it 20 years ago. It's disgraceful that as much as it costs for a burial and headstone, etc... that there is no maintenance over the years to keep it looking nice. There was also a good-sized pothole at the entrance which adds to the overall disrepair of the cemetery as well. I started visiting my grandfather's grave there as a child nearly 50 years ago and up until I left the area in 2003, it was nice. It looks like a different place now.
Gary Korzeniewski: Great cemetery!
James Cunningham: She’ll be good to be at the garbage company to get some exercise and it might work out
Mitchell Hudson Jr: Family Rememberace
LeeAnn Elmore: I have came to see my dad for his birthday last yr and i could not find my dad for over a hour BECUZ there was so much dirt and leaves on top of him i had to get a shovel n dig out my dad how sad ill be coming out there today for his birthday let see if its clean
Halbert Smith: Wonderful and caring service !
Diane Gavie: I am following up on the review written by CHELSEA LOCANO (my niece) a week ago, we heard from the cemetery that they would be out there last week and fill in the HOLE that was and still is filled with water and trash. (Because my daughter threatened to call the news) Yes, they put a little dirt in but could you not fill it to the top? This is a mudhole, not a resting place for my mother. I am so upset over seeing my mothers grave like this, how can any company (YES A CEMETERY IS A COMPANY) show such disrespect to our beloved deceased? Myself and my sister went back out there yesterday to follow up that they had taken care of this matter. THEY DEFINATELY DID NOT! if I could give them a 0 star review, I certainly would. My next step will be to call them AGAIN and see if they can get their staff to do their job. Needless to say, when they buried my grandmother in the wrong grave (prepaid and pre picked out) we should have known better.2:13 pm Just spoke with Hassahn Collins (manager) at Acacia Park, said he sent a crew out today to take care of this, i will go take another look this weekend. Just show some respect people!!!
Chelsea Locano: This is one of the worst cemetery’s I have ever been to. My great grandma and now my grandma is buried here (only because it was already paid for before she passed). I came to visit her today and from the road it doesn’t even look like it’s filled with anything. Just looks like an empty hole was just dug. When I walked up to it it was sunk in and filled with water and a bunch of garbage. I’m literally sick to my stomach. My family and I should not have to come and see my grandmas grave like this. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention, my grandma fought with this place for over a year to get my great grandmas headstone fixed (it was sunk about a foot into the ground and crooked). So if anyone is thinking about putting their loved ones here, I would definitely reconsider.

I don't recommend this cemetery for anyone's Loved one's final resting place
Kathleen Henderson: We have had 2 Plots beside each other for 26+ years. Utica Cemetary WAS a good place for loved ones until it was sold some years back. Once that took place, it's been awful. The new owner and their maintenance people are heartless and disrespectful!!!!!! They have NO compassion, care or respect for the dead or the living. I have always mowed, trimmed and maintained our 2 Plots and yet they still destroy/break our things.
tom emm: Beautiful landscaping serene and clean
Jeff Lopo: None of my family members have complained!
Karen Gaskill: Very disappointed in the condition of the cemetery on Memorial Day. The grass was not mowed in many areas and tall weeds were present around many of the stones. I hope conditions will improve.
Theresa Carly: My mother has been buried here here 18 years and now with new owners we are no longer allowed to decorate her grave site and it was always decorated beautifully! They have removed landscaping from around the head stone, ran over live plants with the lawnmower and now they have removed the 2 (yes 2) solar lights and a flower bouquet. I feel this is VERY disrespectful! There are other sites with a lot more decorations. This is ridiculous!!!
