I tried several diffrent department's the phone would just ring and ring then hung up on me. Then I tried the covid department because someone should be there to get information right? Well a computer answered the phone and told me to call back during normal business hours and then hung up! It's 10am it is normal business hours!!! How in the heck are you sopoused to get any kind of service from a STATE RUN HELTH DEPARTMENT IF NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! WHAT AM I going to do now I need stuff for my child to start school in the fall. Fed up

Nicole Riviera: I called to make an appt for shots for my daughter and the lady said they have a 515 & 6 available that day. I chose the 6 oclock appointment. Online it says they close at 630 and I arrived at 550 and THEYRE CLOSED! Very unprofessional!!!

Wearing a mask for any long period of time is impossible. The staff there understood the problem and made special arrangements to accommodate her and move her through the process quickly. There are so many friendly people helping and the area is very organized. There are even road signs off Groesbeck telling visitors where to go. B: Astonishing to see there’s still a demand to wear masks when there is so much evidence that they do nothing to protect anyone, just like the jab. It sounds like they have too many scared, uneducated employees so they cater to their fears. Maybe it’s the leadership that gets off on controlling the public? Unmask Macomb Health Department. There’s no proof masks work, none, zero, zilch, nada. There’s plenty that proves they don’t.

Elizabeth Lee: I'd give zero if I could. They discriminate against the autistic community who are unable to wear masks due to sensory processing issues. I was told by the supervisor that she cares more about her employees and their family members than the actual community they are supposed to provide care for. I am disgusted that this place has this strict "policy" when hospitals and doctors offices will provide care to my son with no problems. Do not work in healthcare if you will only service a certain portion of the community. You're supposed to provide for ALL of the community. Period.

I had to leave messages as no one answers the phones and it’s been a week and still no response. My landlords finally fixed the issue but it’s unacceptable that the health department isn’t on top of this.

Honey: If you need 'mental health' help....you WON'T find it here. You will find uninterested and uncaring employees and if you do get any help its at least a month later at a snails pace. This department needs an overhaul and a good manager who understands mental health and sometimes the urgency that comes with it. Staff member told my son "we're not going to diagnose you but just give you medicine"...how the heck can you give someone a prescription if you don't know whats wrong with them?? Unbelievable place, do not waste your time...
