Lakeshore Ear Nose and Throat Center: what do users think?
Tiggers Creations, LLC: Not been there yet, so it is unfair to have to provide srats or make any comments
Dave Malkin: Not impressed with the doctor I saw.
Robert Kujanek: The Rochester office scheduled me for a test at the Sterling Heights office. When I showed up for the appointment at the Sterling Heights office there was no record of my appointment. Very disappointing. The office was helpful and was able to complete my test after a brief wait.
Carol marji: Dr. Rourke was very rude, unprofessional, and needs to work on his bedside manners. I was going to him as a second opinion and he laughed in my face and told me my story was bizarre. I left the office with regret. I recommend going to Dr. Gwinn at harmony center he’s an amazing ENT!
Nancy Patterson: I send a friend to you. They come from Columbus. She needed her ears irrigated and the person wasn't there?! Don't make appointments if you're not prepared for your patients. You failed!
Mary Campbell: Derek Handzo was excellent. EET
Ashley Harris: I’ve worked in the medical field for a very long time. I can’t believe how horrible my appointment was with Dr Handzo. I was ref by my PCP to lakeshore and Dr Handzo had the first availability. With the symptoms I was having I wanted to get in right away. Ive been having severe dizziness, ear pain, etc. He looked in my ears. Moved my head around once and that was it. Never asked what symptoms I was having. Never asked if I’ve had any prior testing. I had to tell him about an MRI I had. Which when I offered to pull up the report to show him he said he didn’t need to see. He told me this was all just migraines and told me he would treat me with a migraine med. I don’t have headaches or migraines but he didn’t seem to care at all. With all the dizziness I’ve been having I asked if he would order a balance test. He said no that’s like water boarding and the test isn’t needed. I told him I researched and found a diagnosis of SCDS and if he could order the CT so I could be checked for that. He kinda laughed and said oh that’s way further down the road. You don’t have that. Well thankfully for my PCP he ordered the testing for me and was very upset that the specialist he sent me to was no help at all. I was diagnosed with the SCDS. I’m upset that Dr Handzo put a delay in my care with the carelessness he has as a Dr.
WhySoSerious: Great experience with my spouse's Dr. She just had a biopsy performed on her lip, everything went smooth and quickly. This is her 3rd ENT, she has no complaints!
Anthony: Front staffs are super impatient. They don't even listen to you and just transfer you to voicemail.
Derek Eschenburg: This office is very efficient and the staff all seemed very well versed and in tune with Dr. Rourke. For my first time being here I can say if I need further treatment within the realm of their expertise, I will be calling here first. Sometimes it's difficult to find a specialty office that is this easy to work with. Dr. Rourke and the staff are very competent from what I could tell. The diagnostic data they retrieved from the testing performed on me was pretty cool. Based on the data, they could tell what hobbies I engaged in that contributed to my condition without me even divulging any information to them about that. I would highly recommend Dr. Rourke and this facility for hearing related issues.Thank you Dr. Rourke!!
Sarah McNaughton: This establishment lets you walk in without a mask and wait 30+ mins to be seen with your preschooler, never once asking, reminding, or commenting on the necessity of mask wearing in their establishment. Then they call you back, only to harras you, saying you need a mask and when you tell them you’re happy to put one on you just don’t have one with you at the moment, they let you know they will not be accommodating and made it very clear they do not give out any masks. They then Cancel the entire appointment and tell you to reschedule. Closing the door on you. This incredible mother-daughter were in the waiting room and they gave us their extra masks—god bless you guys—while I was half in tears, but the medical professionals already were on to the next person and I was already forgotten, ignored, and unimportant to them. Even though I had just paid them the 133.93 dollar for my appointment with them (yes canceled it immediately with my credit card company!). This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I drove towns over for this appointment. I was excited and appreciative to been seen so short notice, I have been severely struggling for 10 days with dizziness, vertigo, lightheadedness and head/ sinus issues. Would have loved some answers. I would be so disappointed to be a part of this establishment who doesn’t enforce its guidelines and rules up front with you. Letting my son and I in the establishment without masks and then continue to let us sit and wait is WRONG. It is even more unbelievable that we waited without any commentary, guidance, or notary of masks. From anyone! Until, of course, I am to be seen, like a sick game. Why oh why was I not reminded. I am a very understanding and easygoing individual. I cannot believe my experience. I am disgusted with the actions of the nurses at intake. But even more so, there was no verbal reminder when I talked, multiple times, to the ladies at the front desk. Medical professionals used to be accommodating and understanding and helpful. Not rude, hurtful, and discriminatory 😭🤦‍♀️
Robert Freude: Fixed my hearing aids fast
Michelle Renee: Dr Becker is so friendly. He truly is the best ENT Dr. Highly recommend
Amanda W: My primary doctor determined the very small bump on my nose was a cyst. I elected to have it removed, Dr. Fozo sent it in for testing because he disagreed that it was a cyst. It was exactly what my doctor said it was, but that's ok. What I didn't appreciate was being charged a full office visit ($60) per his request to come back in to tell me in person that it was a benign cyst. Billing refused to remove or reduce that fee. Total out of pocket cost was just under $400 with an additional $943 billed to my insurance.Front staff are super nice and I didn't have to sit and wait.
Penny Grabowski: Didnt have to wait long doc an staff were nice
Val V: Dr. Arden was very nice and funny too. From the first phone call I had with this place to the visit I was very satisfied. Also, very friendly staff that will make you feel welcomed.
Linda Cordner: A few years back Dr Arden operated on my throat for a small tumor removal. My mother also had reconstructive facial deformity from cancer fixed by Dr Arden. He did an amazing job on my mother and also myself. Now I am facing a throat problem and I'm looking forward to having Dr Arden be the physician that I've chosen to help me once again. Dr Arden is a wonderful Doctor who puts his patients first. I'm looking forward to seeing him again.
Lana Gittens: He was very nice! He checked my ears and moved my head in different directions. And is sending me for a balance test. Gave me some medicine for some other issues.
Reba M: I have never had such good experiences in any doctors office. Everyone is very friendly both visits I have been called back right away I wouldn’t trust anyone but dr arden thank you so much
Ryan Ranocchini: Staff and doctor were professional and effective. However wait time was 30+ minutes. Since they were behind there were 20 people or so people waiting. I haven't been confined in a small room with that many people since COVID-19 started. The whole experience was unexpected since my PCP doesn't even have a functioning waiting room. Instead they have you wait in your car and they call you in when they have your room ready. The staff did take your temperature but not untill they bring you back to the room. Seems like it should be immediately at check-in. Besides the lose social distancing everything was fine. Waiting on a call to schedule surgery.
Carol Calahan: Prompt and professional experience!

John W. Becker, MD: what do users think?
Michael Jaber: My 6 years old was so afraid to be tested through his nose, we asked the nurse to be patient with him and give us time to make it happen, nurse was not having it , when my son finally was ok to let them test him, the nurse left the room and finished our appt saying the doctor doesn’t have time, saying we have to reschedule . To my surprise the charged me for the office visit even though no service was provided. Staff treating us like numbers and units, Rude to the core. I won’t be back to this office
Ebony M: Dr. Becker was GREAT with my daughter! To hear her say "I like him," that means a lot coming from a child! He was thorough & patient!
Andrew Crandall: Best ent doctor out there been seeing him sense I was 5 and I've seen other doctors he's the best
Annie Sadecki: Dr. Becker was GREAT! Great bedside manner! Explained everything to my 14-yo daughter and I about the ear wax, her double ear infection AND how to handle her itchy ears due to allergies.
Danielle Harrison: Very knowledgeable and a great bedside manor. Great Service. Very friendly. I would highly recommend thier office.
Hillary Karas: Dr. Becker is AMAZING!!! He’s been seeing our now 3 year old son for the past year and half after he had tubes put in. It’s the one doctor he actually enjoys going to see. The support staff are all great too. Highly recommend this office!
Samantha Klingler: Dr. Becker is phenomenal with kids. He made my son feel comfortable, made him laugh, and treated the issue. We were very pleased.
Ayad Bunni: Great office, doctors and nurses. God bless you
crystal cook: My daughter has been seeing Dr. Becker for over 5+ years. We met Dr. Becker because would visit the Troy District Schools. After meeting him I knew I wanted to switch my daughter ENT doctor from Children’s to Dr. Becker. He is so patient, kind, and make sure he provide us with all the information we need to be comfortable and reassured about my child situation. My daughter has to often have tubes in her ear and he reassured me that it was need to continue with the short tubes so she has surgery to have the long tubes and everything went excellent. Dr. Becker is an excellent ENT doctor and I would recommend him to everyone I know. His staff is awesome too. Thank you Dr. Becker for having us and treating my daughter with such great care.
Richard Gluski: Lily just loves Dr Becker —- super with the kids
Nikki Marku: Dr. Becker is amazing.
Valorie Rossell: Dr. Becker is an excellent doctor. He has a great bedside manner and has a great rapport with my kids. He takes time to answer all of our questions and you can really tell that he cares about his patients.

David Scapini, MD: what do users think?
Thomas Kendro: I went through throat cancer with him, part of which was a hospital biopsy surgery which he performed. He's a good man and a great Doctor. Office visits are quick, but not hurried and he will answer any questions you have in a simply and direct way.
Kelly Carroll: This office is super clean, organized and efficient. The Dr and staff not only listens to you, they do what they can to help you achieve health and wellness. Dr Scapini is an excellent Dr and a great leader. Thanks to all his respectful staff for a positive experience!
Kimberly McClain: Dr. Scapini placed my sons ear tubes. He is very straightforward and honest. He allows time to see if fluid will clear or conditions will improve before recommending surgical treatment. He is conservative in treatment but very thorough. I would recommend him to anyone needing an ent for their children or themselves.
Tony A: This is a review of the office and Dr. Arden not Dr. Scapini. Awful experience with Dr. Arden and the office. Would not recommend any procedures with the doctor.

lol 101: 5 stars for Dr A.Ko. I was had an anxiety attack due to lack of sleep from nosebleedshad gone to an ENTThe staff was very friendly and Dr. Ko and his resident were so throughly professional and calmed me down. They had a great sense of humor with my cheesey humor. They explained everything to me before, during and after my cauterized nasal procedure.I went to Dr. Garlapaty in Southgate and, they knew who.he was. When I moved here I was anxious to find new doctors.Henry Ford Lakeside has amazing doctors. I would recommend this ENT Dr.Ko to all ge was great. It was a very positive experience here !
janet raimondo: I highly recommend Dr. Ko, he treats you very kindly, and listens well, and informs you of what needs to be done, and makes you feel less anxious while working on you.
The045199: Great physician. Takes his time to explain everything. He is by far the most communicable doctor with active listening skills, talks confidently with emphasis on the specific patients needs. His style of patient care should be taught in medical schools. Really knowledgable in his field.
MsChinchy101: Horrible staff and hospital! Arrived at noon...didn't take daughter into surgery until 6:45 p.m. Dr called me to tell me the surgery went well with my daughter instead of coming out to meet with me face to face (he had to go get his kids he said). Two people out of twenty had good bed side manners...everyone else from the Valet, to information services and other staff appears to need more training and an education for starters

Madgy David N Do: what do users think?
Unome 2: My child has been seeing him since 2008. We've always had great experiences, we've always enjoyed his humor, and seriousness if I had questions throughout these ten years. UPDATE: RIP Dr Madgy. You were great. Thank you
Chanda Kalish: Dr. Madgy is amazing!!!! I highly recommend him to any parent looking for an amazing ENT. He made my son feel so comfortable and he’s funny and an amazing dr. He answered all of my questions and made me know my child was in great care with him. He’s smart funny and truly a great Dr for any child!
Katherine Clark: While Dr. Madgy was wonderful to my son, and made him feel comfortble; he was extremely condescending to me any time I asked questions or cut me off if he just didn't want to listen. He then schedules my son for surgery, procedes to cancel that surgery a month later. I then reschedule for January 26th and have family flying in to help take care of him while I work, they are coming the 25th. I get a call today (jan 19th) saying he "decided to take that week off" so with 7 days notice they want to cancel and reschedule again to the middle of February. Luckily one of his partners doesn't take sick children quite so lightly and fit my son in on the 25th. After speaking with Lisa, his scheduler, she made it sound quite clear that he does this frequently, saying the man she had just gotten off the phone with had been canceled on 3 times.

Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center: what do users think?
Mike K: The office staff was nice. Met with a PA that wasn't interested in my questions. Very hurried, apparently looking to move on to the next patient. Had some additional testing done. Never heard from the PA regarding the results, which were concerning. I called and obtained the information after not hearing back.
Sandra Arnold: I went for ringing in my ears and sinus issues, and trouble swallowing.I saw Dr.Heilbronn.He told me to use a saline spray for the sinusAs for the ringing in my ears,he told me, because I have slight deafness in my right ear, that is what is causing the ringing in my ears, and told me there was nothing that could be done for that,I have to just deal with it.Also told him bout my head and neck, and that was ignored. He didn't order no test to exactly what is going on.
Courtney Tweedale: Front office girl is absolutely rude. After I figure out what’s going on with my ear I won’t be returning. Not sure with my experience and all the similar experiences others have had why they haven’t fired her yet.
Kevin Smutek: 30 minutes on hold and no one ever picked up, I’ll try another ENT I guess…
janice sutton: My husband had a bad experience here. First by an extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist who didn't seen to know how to do her job and seemed very put out about scheduling appointments. Also Dr. Derek Handzo was very rough in cleaning out my husbands ear and rude and unsympathetic in his comments. So uncalled for!! won't be back!!
ARCADIA: MY FAVORITE WASTE OF TIME,,,,, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Sheree Tremblay: Staff / Very Unfriendly. Nice Dr. But could have used Google & not paid $45 copay, just to be told use breath right stripes, nostril plugs & Celine solution. Save your money & go somewhere else. This is a Very Bad Place Of Business!
Christine Lucian: Made an appointment for my very young son over 8 weeks in advance. Received a text message 6 days prior to appointment that it had been cancelled. Mind you the appointment is the Thursday prior to 4th of July weekend. I was told via phone by an unsympathetic employee that the next available was another 7 weeks away. So I’m glad the health of my young child isn’t as important as the doctor going what I assume is to be on a long vacation weekend for the holiday. I will not be even attempting to make another appointment due to the unprofessionalism of this office. I had also gone to this office for myself last year, and the bill for a literal 90 second appointment was astronomical. I should have learned back then instead of wasting my own time.
JoAnn Hughes: Front desk personal is extremely RUDE!! WON'T LET YOU SPEAK, AND CUTS YOU OFF BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN FINISH YOUR QUESTION!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED OR TALKED TO SO POORLY!!!
Nina: The doctors are great but the staff is seriously awful. They're rude and unkind. Recently, while running until a scheduling conflict, one woman told me in a very snarky tone (half under her breath) "I guess you just gonna have ta go somewhere else ain't you?" This morning, another was just blatantly unkind. I've overheard them acting the same way to other patients as well. I just dont understand how they can operate like this.
Judy Adamski: Never again!Took me months to get the appointment and minutes to walk out.RUDE so done with the girls at the front DeskOn the phone and then in the office!
Eric Berger: Dr. kubeck is the man!
Paulie 96: I was really hesitant to see a new ENT. After a while, you grow accustomed to the one you have and change feels weird and borderline unwelcoming. With this attitude, I went into this place with very little expectation -in hopes of avoiding disappointment. I can truthfully and genuinely say, this change might've been the best choice I've made in a while!!The front desk ladies are really nice and helpful, they'll guide you thru any new patient paperwork that needs to be completed prior to your first appt and make sure you understand it. They work out Ascension so you can literally check in to your appt via phone confirmation before you get there to avoid unnecessary paper work hassle. The Lobby is wheelchair accessible and pretty spacious. Theres plenty of room to social distance and tons of seats available. The doctors and medical staff are top tier. I had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Rourke and I can definitely say it was the most comfortable experience ever. He is thorough and concise. He doesn't throw medical -mumbo jumbo- terminology in your direction and expect you to understand it. He is to the point and very well-educated.I would definitely recommend this facility to ANYONE who experiences issues where they need an ENT specialist.Special shoutout to Mary in the navy blue scrubs, that woman is a saint.10/10 super professional and comfortable. that place is full of heroes.
Nathan Blair: WARNING.. if you are a new patient there is a $250 new patient fee you'll pay. They do NOT tell you about it.. it just shows up on your bill. The doctors are fine..
Danielle Sullivan: I was referred here and, as usual, another doctor that doesn’t care about his patients. He prescribed me a medication that causes Neuropsychiatric issues and the FDA advises against it. I told him that I was uncomfortable taking it and I needed a prescription for something like loratadine (Claritin). He told me to go buy it over the counter, when my insurance will pay for the prescription and I expressed that. He refused. Terrible job, Dr. Kubek.
Jackie M.: I have always been impressed with this place, they have taken good care of 3 of my kids but today I am beyond impressed. After surgery today the doctor himself, called to check on our daughter. You just can't put a price on that kind of care. Thank you Dr. Becker for taking such kind care
Kelly Smith: I called to make an appointment because I’m in pain and have something going on with my salivary gland and was told that there aren’t any openings for people with my insurance (Aetna better health) and that there is a waiting list (180 people on the list) for people that have that insurance. I think it’s wrong and unethical to schedule and/or put people on waiting lists with certain insurances, especially if people are in pain. I will be reporting them to my insurance company.
Micheal Hardy: Best place ever i was there on Tuesday December 1 my doctor dr.handzo was awesome doctor he is a good doctor great staff and workers to you guys are awesome thank you for your service by helping people out.
Janie Wilson: Overall good experience. I was able to complete my new patient information packet on line. The wait in the waiting room was minimal and the staff was nice. Saw Dr. Dzul who explained my treatment in a way that was easy to understand.
David Edwards: A very professional and compassionate facility. Dr.Kubeck and staff are awesome.
Jacquelyn Havlik: Terrible receptionists-incredibly snippy and rude. Website lists insurances they don't even take anymore. Different Locations provide different information about what insurance they take.

HARMONY Center for Surgery of the Ears, Nose and Throat- Kenneth L. Gwinn MD, F.A.C.S., Principal: what do users think?
Teresa King: This was life changing for me, literally. I’ve dealt with some issues for a long period of time & finally feel like I have some answers. Looking forward to a great outcome!
Margaret Topous: Dr. Gwin is the best ENT there is. Professional, kind, compassionate; he is the epitome of an excellent doctor and surgeon. ❤🌟❤🌟❤🌟❤🌟❤🌟💯He's professional but compassionate. He shares info in a way you can understand. He welcomes and answers questions. He takes as much time with you as needed. There's a thorough history done. (This means you might have to wait, but he affords all his patients his time and attention.) I will go to see no other ENT.His staff is the same way. 😊👍💯If I could give them a higher rating I would.
Avie Shapiro: It was an extremely pleasant experience from the moment that I was greeted at the reception desk, through being seen by three medical professionals, and culminating with my concluding review of their team's findings which was handled by Dr. Gwinn. While waiting for my turn in the welcoming waiting room, I even watched a few nostalgic minutes of Gilligan's Island on the big screen tv.
Kathy Pagliai: Very friendly and competent office staff. Dr. Gwinn is through and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Gwinn!
Sharon Shackelford-Jones: Dr. Gwinn and the ENTIRE staff at Harmony Center are knowledgeable and empathetic to their patients whatever point you are with your ENT issues and/or hearing loss. My entire family are now patients.
Jeffrey Brown: Dr Gwinn helped me figure out respiratory issues that I've had my entire adult life and provided quality treatment. My questions were answered and I wasn't hurried out of the office. The office staff were very helpful. Dr Gwinn performed sinus surgery and it corrected a lifetime of respiratory issues. My care was well coordinated, after surgery care instructions were easy to understand. Michelle at the office was especially helpful in helping me file the medical paperwork I needed to be off from work after surgery. I have dealt with respiratory problems my entire life and had been to a good number of doctors who seemed to either not take my symptoms seriously or weren't knowledgeable enough to understand and address my issues. Dr Gwinn got to the bottom of my issues quickly, performed the surgery I needed, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I feel like a new person thanks to the care I got from Dr Gwinn.
Jim: Very thorough exam, explained things well and listened to what I was saying regarding my symptoms. Unlike some doctors Dr Guinn actually listened to me and what I was trying to explain to him
David Black: Dr. Gwinn was fantastic. He spent the time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood what he was seeing.
Donna Wallace: Dr. Gwinn and staff were very friendly and professional. Took time to listen, do examination and analyze condition. Further test scheduled.Would recommend this ENT to others.
Katie Moultrie: I saw Dr. Gwinn for some breathing issues I was having. After an office exam, he ordered some outside the office testing and a follow up appointment. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill from his office for $200 (I had already paid my office visit co-pay) for a "nasal endoscopy", billed as a separate procedure. Apparently sticking a magnified flashlight down someone's nose for 30 seconds costs loads extra, and no one warms you ahead of time or asks if you want this "procedure". Ethically wrong, shading billing if you ask me.
Stephanie Hall: During my consultation, Dr. Gwinn was very thorough and informative. As I approached my surgery date, the office staff were very helpful in explaining everything that was necessary for my upcoming procedure. On the surgery date (a Septoplasty surgery at Troy Beaumont), the hospital staff were amazing and Dr. Gwinn made sure all of my questions were answered. I received my prescriptions several days prior to my surgery, so there was no need to run out thereafter. After surgery, I was given some medical supplies to help in my recovery, and Beaumont called the day after surgery to check on my status. Dr. Gwinn also provided his cell phone number, in the event that an emergency occurred. I highly recommend Dr. Gwinn and his office staff for any of your ENT procedures!
Donna Dembinski: Everyone is so kind and helpful! Doctors are wonderful they explain everything to you. Excellent care!
Brent Ferree: What a good visit ,took the time to cover all the bases, and road to fix..best visit ever, office and staff pleasant and professional...
Dave Montgomery: I have found people that I more the welcome to help me out and to answer all of my question. Highly recommend
Heather DePoorter: Dr. Gwinn was patient, kind and took the time to answer all of our questions. The staff was kind and helpful as well! We highly recommend him and the practice.
Laura Gonzales: Dr. Gwinn listens and cares about his patients.
KAREN VAN PAMEL: Seemed good the first visit. Went there for new onset Tinnitus almost 3 years ago. Saw Dr Gwinn who appeared to care & do thorough exam. Yet $200 each visit thereafter had no Dr Gwinn. Instead the same lady doc put me in the box for testing multiple visits and each time said, " nice to meet you." When box testing completed she just says "still have some hearing loss with that tinnitus, ya know your insurance would probably cover hearing aids." Then you are walked to the checkout window to schedule next appointment - and cycle starts over again.
Pat Z: Explains everything & staff is nice too
Iva Schmitt: Dr Gwinn is very informative. His bedside manner could not be better. I always leave without any questions at all. Until next time. I will do what he told me to do and hopefully things will improve
Jason Mittler: Dr. Gwinn and his team are the best! They explain everything so well and truly care and get to the root of the problem.
Elizabeth Guglielmetti: Dr. Gwinn and the staff were professional and courteous. Dr. Gwinn was very thorough and provided information that was detail oriented, yet easy to understand. I have a sense of relief that after some upcoming tests, he has a plan that will provide relief in the future. I highly recommend him and wish I hadn't wasted time with a previous prationer that I was referred to.

Dhafer S Salama PC: what do users think?
Bashar Yalda: Amazing doctor. if you’re having a hard time breathing through the nose then this is deff the doctor you want to see. I went from not being able to breath through my nose at all to breathing perfectly fine.
Roy Arabu: Bad ENT Dr. My Son have a stuffy nose the doctor see him he doing a surgery for my son and he's getting worse after the surgery in 7 months he's bleeding and more worse stuffy nose. Don't waste your time with that doctor...and all the time the follow up appointment its not in the same day or next day they give a week for that follow up
Amy: Dr. Salama, has been seeing me since I was 11 years old and I am over 50 now.. great bed side manner and I am always anxious because of all my sensitivity in my ears. Never rushed very patient, I recommend him to all my friends and family 😊
Tina McDonald: Wow! What a great experience! My mom really needed to see an ENT Today. Many offices could not see us. We were able to get a same day appointment and treatment! What an Amazing, kind, compassionate team! Thank You So Much for the Great Care.
allen noel: Bad doctor and didn’t care for the patient and just spend the time for nothing and at last NO results for your visit this clinic.. advice any patient E.N.T go to another doctor .
J M: Worst customer service over the phone they are extremely rude and unprofessional.
lolothamer thamer: It is very good doctor
Ronald: I have been going to this office for a very long time, great office staff and a great doctor .
Atul Vij: Rating is based on front office and phone experience. They are not good with answering phone calls and make you wait OUTSIDE while they check your insurance information.
David Hoffman: Dr. Salama and his staff are great. He respects your time and situation. I would recommend him to anyone that needs good service with fair costs.
maryam gorgees: I was sitting in the office and the receptionist were talking about people and saying people don’t understand they should be professionals they’re working in a doctors office it’s extremely unnecessary and disrespectful I made it clear to her and told her that the doctor is good but the staff it disrespectful
Reem Lage: The absolute best! Have been going here my entire life and will not go anywhere else. The doctor and staff are great!
Nancy A: Amazing doctor so happy with the surgery I got done.
Bryan DeHenau: Had a terrible nose bleed about 5 years ago, Dr. Salama cauterized it and 2 years of torture came to an end. Great doctor. Hes affordable. You want to pay for some huge new office? I don’t, I want to get fixed and thats what this doctor does.
Pheng Lee: Staff is horrible. They really need to consider replacing their staff with people who actually wants to help people. Called and the lady was giving me an attitude for no reason.
alexis lada: Great service!! The office staff was very helpful and polite. Great doctor he has helped with my constant ear pains and ear troubles through out the years.
sarah Kurkes: Very good doctor
Author Detroit: The doctor is nice enough. But his staff is very unhelpful and has a little bit of an attitude. Also, the way the office code procedures is not covered under insurance. Ear wax removal is considered surgery...odd. My previous ear doctors code procedures as office visits.
Nawar Kezi: I just called to have a appointment with the dr. And the girl she answered me the way she talk wasn’t professional and didn’t like how she talks to me
Mariam Dawod: THE WORST!!! the front desk is horrible and very disrespectful!!! Vivian who checks people in is very rude and unprofessional!! she treated many people i know that went there poorly... never going there again.
Georgette Goring: For Dr. Salama you a brilliant man and you get your job done. The blonde office manager is wonderful but the dark haired woman that looks middle eastern needs a attitude adjustment to be more comfortable to be around. Patients get the wrong idea how great this office is. Thank you for finding my dads head and neck cancer.

Michigan Pediatric Ear, Nose, & Throat: what do users think?
Sarah: The actual doctors here are great if you can get in to see one. The front desk is terrible I had to call in 3 separate times just to get an appointment because I kept rudely being put on hold and cut off and disconnected. One lady switched me back to on hold mid sentence. Then when I finally get through no one apologizes. What a joke. Front desk doesn't send prescription messages and it's just a mess.
patrycja g: Office is dirty. Staff could be more pleasant especially since they work with pediatric patients. My 4 yo and I weren't updated on the delay and waited 40 minutes to be seen by Dr.Bohr who seemed rushed. I would not recommend this Dr's office.
Amanda Cabrera: Written by my 7 year old who saw a Dr here today:They have a machine that sucks it out but it doesn't hurt. I like it.LolShe had some ear wax and a nearly 5 year old tube taken out today and made a point to tell me she "gives this doctor 5 stars".
Tiffany Smith: I called them and told them my son's in pain they keep telling me to put ear drops in his ear that causes his ears more pain .I ended up taking my son to his family doctor turns out the pain is from a double ear infection
J C: The people that answer the phones here believe that they are doctors and or nurses however they are neither. They will give you conflicting information and then make decisions medical decisions for your child without any information over the phone. It's very scary. You are not allowed to do that and it could put the doctors into a very touchy situation that could be unethical and lead to complaints at the state level to the medical board. I'm sure the doctors are just fine however, as many people have pointed out in other comments the front desk staff are completely incompetent. One particular woman stated to me today that she assists the doctors in the room but she's neither a nurse, a nurse practitioner, a physician assistant or a doctor and she said she was qualified to make a decision over the phone about the care my son needed. Never let that woman answer the phone again. She was extremely offended when I told her she did not have the skills or education to make those decisions and I didn't feel comfortable speaking to her about my son's medical information without even knowing her name that she failed to give me. Her reply was "excuse me" in the most snotty tone ever. Apparently I needed to repeat myself and I told her that I needed to speak with a nurse directly. She refused to let me do that so we will not be coming here ever again. For safety reasons for patient safety reasons specifically I would not allow this woman to work in my office anymore. She needs to get off her high horse and maybe go back to school if she doesn't like that she's not considered educated enough to make medical decisions about a patient over the phone. She answers the phones that's what she does and what she's paid to do however she's not even doing that very well.
Golfer Guy: The providers here are excellent! They all take good care of their patients. We have seen a few different Doctors from the clinic and have been happy with them all. The scheduling/front desk is down right awful though. Very rude and short. Wont give answers and will hang up on you. They are a very poor representation of how good the providers are. Would definitely rate this a 5 star if it was strictly based on the ENT's
Vanessa Smith: I have been calling this place for weeks now in an attempt to get my 2 year old daughter in for an exam. I have left several messages, and have tried reaching them through their website in order to set up an appointment. She has been in feeding therapy for the better part of a year with no improvements in volume (as in, eats a singular bite of anything, and is all done) and her feeding therapist believes there is something medically wrong. I feel it is unacceptable to not respond to a parent of a potential patient who is clearly in distress. Needless to say, I will never take my daughter there.Edited to add:I have never once received a call back from this practice, contrary to what is stated. If I had, I would have answered, or called back immediately as we are desperate to get her in somewhere. I have never left a review for a place without actually going there. However, I have been in the medical field for many years, not only as a firefighter/EMT, but also as an ophthalmic technician. It speaks volumes when the front line doesn't make an effort to reach out after several requests. I am not sure how I would even go about reviewing this practice, as it seems to be next to impossible to get ahold of anyone for an actual appointment. Perhaps instead of being passive aggressive in your response and putting the blame on someone who has made the effort, accept responsibility for letting someone "fall through the cracks", and try to make it right.
Tausha Anderson: My son had a tonsillectomy and his adenoids removed. I wouldn’t have wanted any other doctor performing the surgery than Dr. Thottam. He was professional, patient and made an immediate connection with my son. It could have been just my son’s pain tolerance, but he had hardly any pain in the two weeks (without needing the prescription pain meds). If your child needs a tonsillectomy or adenoids removed, I would highly recommend this doctor.
Alyssa Derrick: The doctors are great, we really love going here but, they ALMOST never answer the phones! 5 stars to the doctors but, the staff I’m not sure..Called on Friday to ask about my son’s surgery and they never answered. Called them twice already on Monday and have been on hold for a total of 10 minutes.
Yuliya: Dr thottam was very friendly and very quick!
Julie Pinto: I had an appt set for my son. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 2pm appt with my 3 year old daughter tagging along with permission from the office. She loves going to the doctor. We went into the exam room at 2:19pm; however, Dr. Haupert did not come into the exam room until 3pm. By that time my autistic son was upset and crying from the extensive wait. My daughter was also very upset and crying (she called him scary doctor after we left and was crying well after we got back home). Dr. Haupert did not acknowledge or apologize for the wait, saw my son for 2 minutes and left the room. I had to ask questions for additional screenings for allergies since my son is non-verbal and I don't know everything he is experiencing. It felt as though he did not care to meet with us. Any type of pediatric doctor should know that children have short windows of patience and cooperation especially when they have different disabilities. I was extremely disappointed with the experience.
Kayla Powell: The staff was very nice and the drs very proficient. My child took a particular liking to the lady audiologist! He was sad when she left the room(he’s almost 2). They were very thorough and answered any questions I had.
Jason Hido: Brainless staff members.
Stacey McCormack: I absolutely love my daughters doctor, Dr. Thottam (spelling might be off). My daughter was born with a cleft palate, not cleft lip luckily, just palate. The condition causes a lot of fluid in the ears, which can effect her hearing, speech, balance, etc. He placed tubes in her ears the same time she had cleft palate repair surgery. He did such great work, her hearing loss has went from mild/moderate back to normal hearing! I can tell her speech is better now too. He’s an absolute joy to be in the presence of as well. He is such an upbeat, positive, nice guy and he actually cares! He’s very informative and I can tell he really enjoys what he does. He’s great with me and my daughter. Just like any parent, I make sure my children are in the very best of care and I honestly feel Dr. Thottam provides that. I will NEVER take her or mmy son anywhere else!!!! Thank you Dr. Thottam!!
Marie Garcia: Staff is very nice and polite and so is Dr. Prasad John Thottam very nice I would definitely recommend
Jenna Calahan: Absolutely love Michigan Pediatric ENT! The staff at the Garfield office are always so nice and welcoming. We have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Thottam who has been seeing our daughter since she was 3 months old (she is now 2). We would recommend this place to anyone!
Rebecca Holzen: Staff is always friendly! Very quick in and out at all of our appointments. Dr Thottam has done surgery on two of daughters. Would highly recommend him and this practice!
Kayla Howard: I love this place, I have been taking my daughter here since she was born and the whole staff has always been so nice!
Carrie Fuson: Friendly staff. The doctor had extremely good "bedside manner." He worked well with children. I really loved all the art around the building as well. The examine room had superheroes on the walls and they were adapted to wearing face masks due to a sign of these covid-19 times and I really appreciated that little attention to detail to make the abnormal more normal. We went for an evaluation. Would recommend!
Brianna Werr: The quality of care here is excellent! My son was very young when he required ear tubes and the staff was very supportive, informative and thorough through the entire process. They took great care of my son and followed up to make sure his recovery was going well which was very much appreciated. Every follow up appointment since then has gone so smooth and their office does an excellent job with running on time as scheduled!
Amanda Elliott: Doctors are great, staff is great, clean friendly!!
