Andy Curtiss: I'm sorry, Sterling Heights. But someone has to say it... Let the mall die with what dignity it has left. Aside from Hollister and FYE, I can't see a reason to go inside anymore. We've reached the point where some units are falling apart and not getting repaired because the mall is just THAT empty. Whole sections are empty. There is no one there. The food court has two options... Take it out back and shoot it, folks. It's time.

Especially when my husband and I can remember how it once bustled with crowds of people, packed stores, and big chocolate chip cookies (The Cookie Factory - Yum!). Feels like a ghost town now. Times have definitely changed. Just seems like it's time to move on to the next endeavor planned for this enormous property.

Heather Alexander: I have nothing against Great Lakes Crossing, I just really don't enjoy malls in general. I will say that they have a lot of great stores and booths at this mall and there are lots of food options along with a Star Theater inside. I was there to find a prom dress for my daughter and was not disappointed. We ate in the food court, which is always really crowded, and usually has lines that can get pretty lengthy. There is something here for every kind of Eater. Sit-down restaurants, snack booths, and food court options. While I enjoy the variety of stores, I do get nervous to go there at night because of the risk of a crime occurring.
Will B: One of the best outlets malls to get deals at. They have a movie theatre, legoland, a good amount of restaurants around, and plenty of very good stores. A must visit place if you are visit east Michigan area.

Lisa (The Sterling Critic): This shopping center has quite a few great place in it but could really use some updating to the building and parking lot. It is right on the corner of Van Dyke and Riverland rd in Sterling Heights. Shop within it is Zap Zone, Grace Center of Hope thrift store, Apollo Coney Island, CSI Plasma donation center, New Garden Chinese, Family Dollar, miller’s optical and bible books and fine things. Across the parking lot is Gabriels Vacuum.

James Tomlinson: They helped the carnival run smoothly.
Blackheart Lives: An apartment complex is going up in the middle of the parking lot. That's really weird, and construction items are making the parking lot very rough. Imagine when they are done and all of the parking spots are being used by tenants. That will make parking a struggle and the confusion and busy traffic flow will be impossible to tolerate. Looks like a new Americas Best location for us and a LOT more traffic on Schoenherr.
