allisbright onthedarkside: Patti is amazing. Stop your search for a pet sitter and just call her now! I was away for a week long break and a power outage happened at the house. Patti was extremely pro-active, made useful suggestions and called DTE to get an estimate, offered to bring over her generator AND offered to keep my food in her freezer until I got back. She made sure my cats were comfortable, saved the fish from overheating and even made sure the pet snail (really) was spritzed with water. I want to give her two hundred Gold stars if I could. She’s professional, responsive, personable, dependable, gentle, kind, compassionate and extremely good at what she does. I feel so extremely thankful and grateful to have found Patti and you can be rest assured that when she says she’ll take care of your pets, she’ll go above and beyond for your peace of mind too. She emailed twice daily report cards on how the cats and pets were in addition to sending pictures. She’ll not only feed them and keep their litter pans clean, but there’s also play time and cuddles. Patti is terrific!!

Sue Jalkanen: We had a wonderful vacation thanks to Patti’s Pet Services. Our 18 year old cat was left in loving care with Patti. We hired her services for two shifts a day. Not only did she feed, brush and clean his litter box, but she spent time snuggling, petting, and chatting with him. As an added bonus, after each visit she sent us pictures and comments about how he was doing. Highly recommend Patti’s Pet Service. We will definitely be hiring Patti again for our next vacation.
alison boggs: I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care Patti gave my 2 dogs, 2 cats, and bird. From our first meet and greet it was obvious she loves animals. While we were away she sent pictures, videos, and updates on how everyone was doing after each visit. She even took initiative to put water in our pond when she realized the level was low. It is always stressful to leave our pets, but Patti make sure we didn't have anything to worry about. They were in great hands!

Megan Fogel: Happy Dog Daycare is an amazing daycare facility! I’ve been taking my pup, Laila, here for a couple of months now and she always gets so excited when we pull up to the building. She loves playing with the other dogs and is usually exhausted when I bring her home at the end of the day. I also love being able to watch her on the cameras during work! The owner and staff take incredible care of Laila; it’s obvious that they care about the dogs and their owners. I highly recommend this doggy daycare!

Love that it is open and the dogs can go outdoors to play. Love that I can see my dog throughout the day to see how he is doing.

John Boyle: What a great place! We've been taking our dog there for several months, and he is always excited to go. When we say "Happy Dog" to him, he heads to the door and is ready to go. They love him and he loves them. Every day we see him on camera playing with his buddies, and every night he comes home exhausted. He was a COVID pup, so he wasn't great around other dogs at first - but being there has really helped him. Jim and his staff know the dogs, and love them.

Brittany Hepner: I can’t say enough good things about Happy Dog, and would give them 10 stars if that was an option. My neighbor wasn’t able to watch our dogs like usual when we went on vacation, and I had never boarded them before. The owner, Jim, made sure that my girls would fit in with their daycare pups a couple times before we boarded them. I was so nervous to leave them with a someone I didn’t know, but Jim put me at ease. He sent me videos and updates while we were gone. My 8 year old pup was able to get away from the other dogs and nap on her bed behind the front desk during the day. They even have cameras on during the day so you can watch them all play. You can tell Jim and his staff love the dogs because I would always see them petting and playing with them on the webcam. Our flight home came in at 12:30am. Jim knew we missed the dogs and that they were ready to go home too. He met my neighbor at my house to drop the dogs off for us so they would be there when we got home. He even called me the next day to check up on them and make sure they were doing ok. I can’t recommend them enough. Happy Dog will be our go-to for boarding in the future, and my pups will be happy to go back to play on some daycare days too.
Sean Williams: I spoke with the owner, he walked me through the process, and answered my questions as well as gave advice and suggestions. We took our dog there, it was a great experience for our dog. I really love the fact that they have cameras to see what's going on, and that the dogs have acess to OUTSIDE FRESH AIR, as well as inside. I also like that, the dogs don't go in kennels. Because of the stimulation, the outside air and socialization, our dog was exhausted and rested well. There hours of operation is great! I really appreciate the service they extend to the customers.
Rob Reid: Not long ago I had an emergency where my wife had to go into surgery. I needed someone to board our wire fox terrier and on very short/ no notice. Having done business with other dog daycares I knew this would be asking for a very big favor and during a super busy time for boarding (spring break). Jim and his team were wonderful and very understanding. They took our dog in immediately. This allowed me to watch over my wife at the hospital without any additional concerns. While we were there, his team would also send video and updates on her to let us know she was doing well. And by the way, she had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back. We will always be grateful for Happy Dog Daycare, and how they took great care of us during such a stressful moment.

Celia Jackson: Can’t say enough good stuff about Happy Dog. Our two dogs have been going there for boarding since the fall of 2020. We travel a LOT and probably board them twice a month on average. It’s a no frills place but it's perfect for our no frills dogs. They absolutely love the Happy Dog staff and hanging out with all the other dogs, and we love watching them on the live cams during the week! The live cams were the reason we first tried them out, and the friendly, family vibes keep us there. They especially do a great job screening the dogs and making sure everyone gets along. Highly recommended!
B. D4-A: This was our first time leaving our English Pointer mix, Forrest, @ Happy Dog. I had toured the facility beforehand & was very impressed with the wide-open spaces, the accessibility of the indoor/outdoor areas for the dogs, the cleanliness & organization, & of course, with the attentive caregivers. Forrest is a very active, high energy, sometimes high anxiety dog & I love their approach to boarding/daycare- minimal time in the kennels! Ultimately, we decided to board him @ Happy Dog & moved him from previously staying at a different boarding place. During Forrest’s stay, I communicated with the owner several times- he responded quickly & with great care. After 6 days @ Happy Dog, Forrest came home very happy & very tired, which says a lot for him! We will be bringing him back to Happy Dog in the future! :) Thank You!

Eve creates such a tranquil and welcoming environment for our cats.Eve is so very kind/welcoming, knowledgeable, organized, accommodating, and she truly has a gift with animals. I feel so incredibly comfortable leaving my two cats with her; I never have to worry about them. I KNOW they are in the best hands. She is wonderful about communicating with me while I am away. To speak to Eve’s gift with cats, my one cat Queso is scared of her own shadow. She once went on a four-day hunger strike at a local cat boarding facility and had to be picked up! The FIRST time I took her to Eve’s home she came right out of her cage! She ate food the first day! She allows Eve to pet her and she truly seems relaxed and happy there. I like having the option to view the live cameras that are in the cat’s room while they stay. I can always see just how comfortable and happy they are as they are lounging on one of the many fun spaces in their room. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, clean, calm. Just the best!You will not find a more loving person and wonderful space for your kitties. I feel so extremely fortunate to have found Eve at Grateful Paws. Thank you, Eve!

Monkey (our cat) loves her and loves the delux cat room with a window to look out and lots of climbing and running areas. I love that we can remotely watch via the camera and feel comfort knowing how our cat is doing while away. The calendar is helpful to know what is available and Eve is always so easy to work with, I definitely recommend for all cat/dog watching needs.

Lalena Malloian: Eve and Shiloh have been caring for my dog, Django, for nearly 5 years! They are the gold standard in dog walking, sitting, and giving real quality love. They treat Django as they would their own animal. I’m so entirely grateful for their service. Django knows them as auntie Eve and auntie Shiloh and greets them both with doggo hugs. Some facts: 1. Updates are given after each walk or on each day of boarding with pictures sometimes accompanied with the texts, 2. They work within time windows allowing some flexibility for your own schedule, 3. They will follow your own instructions or requests for how you want your pet handled, 4. There have never been any scheduling mishaps, 5. Payments are via checks paid monthly with emailed invoices.You can’t go wrong with this company!

Sara Patrick: I recently boarded my kittens at Eve's house for a week while on vacation. It was such a great experience! The room has tons of options for cats to play, even four month old energetic kittens, and many places to curl up and sleep. There's a web cam in the room so I could check on them whenever I wanted, and they always looked content. They got plenty of attention and the price is extremely reasonable -- much cheaper than boarding services where they'd be stuck in a cage all day. Eve also used to do home visits with my previous cat and did a great job with him. She is very trustworthy and reliable, with good communication. Highly recommended!

I have heard Rover horror stories, but also didn’t want to have to remove our cat from the home as it causes her major stress, which led us to Bloomfield Pet Care. With each visit we received a full report and photo from the team member visiting our cat, Ponyo Prior to our departure the same team member, Emile, came to our residence to get the lay of the land and meet Ponyo.She has always been extremely people shy and this was our first extended vacation away from our girl, but she warmed right up to Emile and meeting her/the daily reports put my anxiety and nerves at ease. You can see one of the photos Emile took for us! The owner, Meghan, was also quick to respond when requesting services and replying to emails, and answered all our questions. If you’re looking for a reliable, attentive service, this is it! We will be using them for all of our future needs!
