Marilyn Falcon: We really enjoyed the pierogi, stuffed cabbage, and the potato pancakes! Delicious! Service was excellent! What a great place to eat with family and friends!Vegetarian options: Lots of varieties of their pierogi are vegetarian. Plus, potato pancakes and the restaurant's crepes are all vegetarian, too. Please note that the stuffed mushrooms do contain Polish ham.
Samantha Rager: Absolutely wonderful! The portions are large, but they don't sacrifice flavor. Everything was delicious and the team members were so warm and welcoming. My husband and I split the Polish Feast, and enough for a couple nights of leftovers. We'll definitely be back!Parking: Ample parkingWheelchair accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible, no stairs.

Polka Restaurant & Beer Cafe: what do users think?
Janice Barry: Went to the store because restaurant is closed. Great stop to get Polish food and specialties. Love this place
michael novak: Best wait staff I've seen in 60 years of eating in restaurants, this kid alyssa could teach the trade. Closed down due to COVID! Will be missedGood food as well totally Polish. Will definately return.Dobry Wait times are long, they encourage reservations, probably one of the most costly if not the most costly restaurant in the greater Detroit suburban area.Decent wheelchair accessibility but far from the best. Seating is cramped and tight, chairs are small and table area also small,The menu items are portion controlled, the portions are considered “average” but if you’re really hungry and want portions like you’d get at home be prepared to order double (and pay double)A group of 5 to 10 will set you back from $350 to $1000. Depending on drinks appetizers tips etcNot a cheap place but one of the few where you can actually get Polish food “americanized “ but close to correct.Too bad the place is closed downAnother casualty of the COVID scare
Joe Abraham: Beautiful place! The pierogies were outstanding.
Matthew Wint: Wow wow wow wow wow.Last night my girlfriend and I were discussing what we should have for dinner. She says to me "I want to try that Polish place in Troy!", which I said "Oh, yeah! Polish Market is great", thinking we were going grocery shopping for a nice home cooked meal. As we arrived and I tried parking in the Markets side of the lot, she informed me she was referring to this place called "Polka" across the way. I didn't even know this place opened. Last time I visited this plaza, that building was unoccupied.Well, I am glad she suggested this! The place upon initial impression was surprisingly nice. A lot of murals, a very beautiful bar, and nice and comfortable seating. As we were going through the menu we realized that this place is very fair on pricing (Average $12-15 person, some entrees can be a little more expensive).I ordered the polish combo which consisted of a stuffed cabbage, kielbasa link, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and 3 pierogis (choice of flavor was potato cheddar). Everything on that plate was great. Bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. While it took a little while to come out after ordering, you could tell it's because they care about the quality of the food they send out.The service is really great as well. The servers wear Polish outfits and are super friendly. To my surprise, our server actually spoke Polish fluently! While I had no idea what she was saying, it was cool to listen to her take another tables order.Definitely come here if you're into authentic Polish food and don't want to make the drive all the way to Hamtramck.
Justin Goodell: It's just ok. All frozen food, not made onsite. Golabki was still slightly frozen inside. City chicken was meh. Mashed potatoes were cold... Very cold.
Chris M: Great friendly atmosphere, great authentic Polish ethnic atmosphere with wall murals, curtains, dinner ware and more. Food is good price, great taste, well made, Polish potato pancakes are my favorite as they are tasty not greasy the way they should be. The soups mushroom and pickle I've had are delicious. Just wish they offered both types of kraut, I like sour kraut and they serve a sweet kraut, it's good I just prefer sour over sweet. I'm glad the restaurant is here also they have a banquet area and next door is the Polish Market so you can shop there and have your meal at the restaurant, a win-win great planning to have it all in one place.
Józef Ledziński (Dn.): Very good local
Pete Koski: Very inviting place. The service was friendly and the food was excellent! Dill Pickle Soup, Kielbasa, Sauerkraut and Pierogies
Lisa Tyburski: Both times there my food was very salty. Mashed potatoes taste watery. Not a fan. Bread was good.
Robert Kurowski: Great food very clean and the waitresses are great nothing not to like about it
Tracy Follis: Best Polish food ever! Sorry Grandma!👍😀
chozen1956: Average food and service. Some dishes were cold and had to be reheated.
Kellie Beach: Excellent food
Jeffrey Luokkala: Good eats
Julie Smith: We drive from toledo Ohio and were there at noon on a sunday and got right in! The waitress was amazing, the food was amazing and it came in a quick manner!! The restaurant was super clean also!!! We would highly recommend this place for great polish food!!!
Mary Pergeau: Great polish food. Lots of choices. Polish atmosphere. Very good serving staff. Make a reservation, often people standing in line.

Cathy Ostrowski: The worst pierogi's I've ever had!!Asked for pan fried, instead got boiled flavorless, lumps of soggy dough, no seasoning whatsoever! And was told the printed menus weren't accurate, so the price was significantly more than the menu stated. Totally disappointed!! Definitely won't be back😣😣😣

Nicole Seitz: Worst ever! Fish and chips was nothing but breading, ordered extra Tartar charged 85 cents didn't even get it. 2 extra pieces of fish for 8 bucks so not worth that. Schintel covered in a bland sauce. Coleslaw and tartar sauce are like eating sugar. Will definitely not be back.
K J: I’m literally now addicted to the pan seared pierogi dinner here, as well as the amazing smoked kielbasas!!

chris murray: Pasties were great. Best part we arrived at 6:01 because google says open til 7 only to find a closed sign. Owner was still there and waved us in. Heated up our food and chatted about the UP while we ate. We'll be back eaier because he has something we really want to try.
Tony McCrary: Tasty pasties. They're slightly different than what I'm used to, the dough is a little pierogish and shaped differently. But it was delicious, I'll definitely be back.
