LaShuna Early: We love Sylvan! My oldest son goes there for math and we are starting to see an improvement in his grades at school, as well as his confidence in math. My younger son goes there as well and he enjoys going. Neither of my children complain about attending their sessions. The staff is wonderful. Monthly meetings with the director are very detailed and help me to understand what areas they have mastered and what they still need more help/practice with. We have no complaints at all.

He leaves his sessions with excitement and tells me all about what he did and how many tokens he has saved up. The atmosphere is fun and engaging, always looking forward to the next visit. Monthly parent meetings with the director keeps me updated with the progress and the individualized plan for my child. I have had all positive interactions with Sylvan of Sterling Heights!

I was there this one time and this lady helped me with a vocabulary worksheet that I didn’t get. I got a 0 on the paper. This place had me crying at nights and in the morning and it’s extremely over priced. I do not recommend.

E.Christine Welch: I give Sylvan a 2. I loved how professional the staff and director were. The assessments were extremely detailed. The location is nice and clean in a great area. However, for 45-50.00 an hour I never saw any improvement with my daughter in the particular subject we signed up for. I saw moments for potential but my daughter’s grades never got better. We attended for 9 months or so. I will say on multiple occasions we were late 3-8 minutes for tutoring so maybe the tardiness played a factor but this was my experience despite the staff being very very nice.

Fransheska Wiggins: Great establishment. Highly recommend. Been coming to sylvan since June 2018. My son is doing very well here, loves it. He has improved a whole lot and is even above his level in math now. He is a 4th grader. He used to struggle with math, now it's his favorite subject. Clean location, very professional and understanding of situations. We are a military family and move a lot, different states have different standards so I will most definitely continue to invest with sylvan.

I was told they ASSUME you will return within 24 hours so they don’t tell you about the 90day cut off.Money is non refundableThis location is not in Sterling Heights I was not able to make it back to Utica Hall rd. The staff are absolutely the best. They are very in tuned to each student and really are hands on. I couldn't have asked for better Teachers for my daughter. Rick Raichle: My daughter has been receiving tutoring to prepare for her SAT exam from Debora @ Macomb Tutoring. Her experience has been exceptional/ 5 star! She has been a big help with math and English concepts, as well as assisting her with mental preparation when it comes to the anxiety of taking a big test(Mid terms, Finals, SAT, etc...). Would definitely recommend!

Macomb tutoring was very understanding in working around my schedule and offering as much help as was necessary. The tutoring service went above and beyond to make sure I understood the material and could pass the course. If you need a math tutor and you want more personal or individual assistance for either yourself or a child, then I cannot recommend this place enough.
