Village Vinyl: what do users think?
John Ayers: They had Rush 2012, they had Metallica and they were playing Get Your Wings by Aerosmith. That's cool enough in my book. My 13 year old bought a new Pink Floyd album.
Adam Awesomeface: This place is small but jam packed with treasures. Most recent visit was for record store day. The staff is super easy going, passionate, and helpful. They kept the line entertained and moving. Pricing is pretty typical. Selection (again for the size) is great. Will be back for treasure hunts soon. A gem for the area.
Noah: I love coming here the staff is so nice and the selection is great. It's a little smaller than some of the other stores but it's my favorite and they still have or will get you everything you could want :)
Mike Holtyn: Nice place to get a little bit of every genre of music on vinyl and some CD's as well.
Mathew Peruzzi: Always fun going in and seeing all the neat stuff, the owner John is always helpful and if he dosnt have what I'm after, he can get it. 5stars.

Michael Woods!: Amazing selection of all genres. Metal and Punk selection was awesome of old and new material. Collectibles were killer. Definitely shopping here future purchases. Staff was friendly and had great music playing to make browsing even better.
Dook Combs: Well organized, some rare vinyls available

Jacob Byrd: Great store that's been there for years! Such a great collection of vintage and newer content as well highly recommend checking it out!
Tami: Excellent, thanks
Scott Long: Staff was helpful and friendly. My son was buying his first records after receiving a RP for Christmas. Even found a used album he really wanted in the back and cleaned it up for us while we waited. He was super excited. Thanks for making his first vinyl purchase memorable!
Erin Lenzini: Great record store and customer service! I recently called to see if they were getting one of the new releases in for Record Store Day. I was told that they weren’t getting it in, but later on someone was nice enough to leave me a message letting me know that they would be getting the record in for Record Store Day 2023. :)
Erik Courter: Awesome record store with a really good selection. If they don't have what you're looking for, they can order it for you. The staff is super nice here too, so don't be afraid to ask if they have something in stock. Definitely my favorite vinyl shop in the area!
Jeff Chevrier: Cool little shop in Warren good selection.
Wadd G: Very homey and peaceful vibe. Definitely going back all the albums are in mint condition and very nicely kept. They have rock and roll stickers and patches for your jackets and vests. I loved it ✌️😁

Found Sound: what do users think?
Brent Yousoufian-White: Still love this place but when u spend 1-2 hundred CASH u should be able to get a lil deal or at least no tax. Every other record store do it on used albums.
Jasen J: Love the name of this place. You can really get lost in the nostalgia alone. There's even an 8-track section for baby boomers or the collectors. Great selections. Vinyl prices are at a premium though but worth every penny for those looking to go back in time... Cheers!
Destiny Lewis: Nice record store. My son collects cds and always finds something he wants.
Owen Bradley: Great record location, a little bit pricier than I'm used to but that it is consistent with other prices of newer records these days. Pretty easy to navigate if you're looking for something consistent and the staff are nice!
shadowdork: They have a healthy selection of obscure and hard to find records for those (like me) that are trying to replace a bunch of beloved music such as Portishead or Depeche Mode.
Larry Trezil: HUGE selection!!!! Great customer service.
정하영: Best Recods Shop
K R: Records Day!Great energy and fun filled atmosphere from the staff. The store was packed with a line waiting to get in. Things moved quickly, even though it was cramped quarters. It took about an hour from standing in the pre-entrance line, looking through records and then the check out line.
Alec Wimpari: Amazing staff, lots of vinyl, CDs, tape decks, nerdy cool things like action figure photo set prints, patches, pin and more
Noah Fisher: I bought an awesome rage against the machine t shirt! Would recommend to anyone in the Ferndale area
jeffrey williams: Great and diverse music on vinyl!
Jason Jones: Found Sound in Ferndale, MI is a must-visit destination for any music lover. The store offers a wide variety of new and used vinyl records, CDs, and other music-related items. And with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always willing to offer recommendations and advice, it's easy to discover new music and find exactly what you're looking for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great music shopping experience.
Rick Golpe: Amazing selection of music mediums.
Paige Fraga: Great selection with knowledgeable, kind staff. Very cool place.
Dennis Williams: Awesome Selection! Very Cool Record Store! Highly recommend. 😎
Caleb Silvers: Awesome Record shop with a wide variety of records and memorabilia
Joshua Campos: My favorite record store. Super friendly staff, and not pretentious at all. All are welcomed. Ray is the man!
Godlee313: Great place and friendly staff

The Detroit Record Club: what do users think?
Akio Miller: Great and knowledgeable staff, good selection and clean store. I will be a regular from here on out.
Kristenn D: This is such a nice record store. Very well organized and clean. Amazing selection as well! You can find some rare records here as well. I didn’t think they would have what I wanted but sure enough! They did.
Sharon James: Nice store, good selection of music.
Jacob Scott: Excellent vibe and helpful staff
Ryan Michael Dinkgrave: Am excellent record store, though "store" isn't quite the right word here. It's an expertly curated selection of records - here you will not find hundreds of moldy polka records from someone's uncle's storage unit. It's like checking out the collection (but for sale!) of a friend with wide and eclectic tastes, in their cool living room or basement pad.
Brandon: Top notch
Olivia L: I loved this place because it brings me joy to music and I can explore different genres of music.
Kelsey Kneebone: Super friendly helpful humans
Cooper B: Great collection and very nice people. My friends and I think of it as the “Apple Store” of Vinyl stores. Very neat, organized, and welcoming! Definitely recommend!!
Howard Stanley: Great selection, good prices and friendly staff!
Jack Turner: David was friendly and knowledgeable and the store's inventory was fun to peruse.
Rich: Excellent store for both new & used vinyl records. The ultrasonic vinyl cleaning service is a real bonus! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.
Brian Ashley: Small, well-curated store.
alex sust: this might be my favorite record store in the area! the atmosphere is great. it is super inviting when you walk in and everything is organized/designed so well. I’ve never left this store empty handed, I always seem to find something I love. The staff is amazing, super knowledgeable and personable with all genres of music!
Max Senopole: The best place to go if you love rock and metal and are looking for some rare records.
Garrett Pelowski: This place rocks! Really nice space and a great selection of albums. The gentleman we spoke with was amazing and even helped us pick our first jazz album. Just go check it out!
Natalie Morgan-Nicolian: I LOVE this place! I just went for my first time last weekend, and I ended up FINALLY finding a physical copy of Outkast's vinyl reissue of "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below"! I believe the guy at the counter was a co-owner, and he was SO nice and helpful! My husband isn't as into music as me, but he always goes with me to record stores. This place has SUCH a relaxing atmosphere, and they even had a comfy seat for my husband! This store doesn't have as much stock as some other places, but by no means do they have a limited selection. A lot of their used vinyl are repackaged in slip covers (they also have several very cheap used options, and a record cleaner they use every time they get used items in.What this store has that I've enjoyed over the other record stores (all of them are still wonderful!) is a great stock of current music/music from the last couple of decades. It was hard walking away with just one item - but they have an old Oingo Boingo record I REALLY want next time to go with my reissues of "Dead Man's Party" and "Only a Lad" that my husband got me. But really, this place is a MUST VISIT!
Maurice Sampson: Cool record store, but used albums are pretty overpriced and not a very large selection
kerby hickman: Beautiful space, had just what i was looking for! Shop local ✨
Candace Thompson: Great layout. It’s great if you love classic rock and jazz but lacks variety.
Carol Kalvelage-Bohn: What a great store. My daughter wanted to go to a record store today, so I googled up this place and I am happy! The store is set up so perfectly sleek modern but has a front room with beautiful stereo systems all set up ..but they are from the "past" as am I. I loved it. Bins of Albums for a dollar right up front. Feel free to Browse. Once inside the store, more sleek, more beautiful items and more serious record people stuff. The gentleman David was very kind and we chatted alot about different music. Best part for me was to see David treat my teenage daughter so politely, yet professionally cool with his knowledge of "her" music. Excellent experience. Will absolutely be back soon. If they don't have it, they will try to order it. Vinyls backed up in production for a bit, so give it time. But if you want to find it, David's the guy

Melodies & Memories: what do users think?
Larry Trezil: Many unique items. Great selection of L.P'S
Tanyel Nappier: Super helpful staff and great selection
Richard Carloni: Love this place for albums and cd's!
Christopher Malone: Very good store for looking for vinyl or collectibles
Nathan Lewsick: It's a great record & old media shop. One could spend hours in there.
Denny Williams: Really Cool Store with LOTS of Cool Stuff! Highly recommend.
Joshua McAllister: The place is packed full of music. Cool place to visit, but very cramped and hard to find stuff you're looking for. The employees are happy to assist.
Pamela Guerra: This is the cemetery in Eastpointe Michigan that my mother is laid to rest next to St Peter's Church
Jaymie Peak: Loved this place since high school, took my nephew recently and it hasn't changed a bit. Great selection, friendly staff.
J S: I bought most of my vinyl from here, circa 1995-2000, while I was in highschool. My friends & I would drive over 200mi round-trip on weekends just to go to Melodies - Memories ("M&M's" is what we called it). They always had the most obscure or hard-to-find stuff in any format, and the room stacked floor-to-ceiling with 8" 45rpm records was incredible.House DJ Jeff Woodward was often there working, and I even still have his CD ("The Detroit Housing Commission"); along with the vinyl I've been hauling around for almost 30 years. And it looks like they haven't changed much at all since way back then; which is good, because this record store is a big part of Detroit's musical history, and is worth a visit just to see.... and to discover more great music.
Sarah Ullmann: This is everything a record store should be! We have found some great vinyl! Don't forget to ask if you can go look through House music and the dollar shelves!!!
Dianne Miller: Got a very fair deal on,selling my records
Michael Reynolds: Tons of stuff. Vinyl, tapes CDs lots to see.
Skullvillan: Very amazing collection, they were missing some records on my list but still exceeded my expectations
Jeremy Stefanski: The best record store in Michigan!
Valerie Thomas: Love looking through old vinyls. Good nostalgic records
John Schroeder: An actual record shop. I could spend days looking through their inventory. Say goodbye to your mad money when you cone in here.
Lackey Shackleford: A great local shop that has a wide assortment of vinyl. Dan the owner was friendly and offered help to show me where the different genres of vinyl located in the shop. Bring money and have lots of time to dig because you’ll be sure to find what your looking for. Prices are fair. Just fyi, No public restrooms.
Falecia Brown: Very nice gentleman the owner and his staff very helpful
Joel Hacker: Melodies & Memories has been here almost as long as I've been alive. My father used to spend hours picking through vinyl, tapes, and cds here. It was great to return home after all these years and find it still in business. This is a *massive* music store, with constantly rotating stock. There's enough inventory that's it's not even all all out at once despite the size of the space. There's also a lot of really great memorabilia from a variety of different era and subcultures on rotating display, some for sale, some not. The prices here are also very reasonable.
Steven Scherzer: The owner Dan the man Is a great person to deal with

UHF Records: what do users think?
Joy Bezeau: Never been but I do know is my husband and sons spend some money there for really great original, some of it's new things! They said 5 stars and go to this store, you will love it!
Yaseen Syed: Cool store right in the heart of downtown Royal Oak. The staff are really cool and friendly. In my case, stayed back a few minutes after hours so I could pick up an order. Def gonna be going back!
Carol Kalvelage-Bohn: Excellent Vinyl store. My daughter gets credit for this one! We went in on a Tuesday afternoon to browse. I really really like this store. Very good inventory of Vinyl..plus alot of vintage and new things. Cds, books, accessories...yeah....you gotta stop in. The prices looked very reasonable as well!
Adam Majestic: Great record store, always busy. Prices are competitive and there seems to always be new stock.
Jonathan Hazlett: Good selection, considering the size of the place. I like the mix of new and used vinyl, not to mention the overall vibe.
Chris Ruetenik: Cool store. Needs more stock. When I go to a record store I want to spend a great deal of time browsing. I love vinyl and that is the whole ballgame for me. If I were them I would get rid of the CDs. With streaming so available, who cares about CDs at this juncture?Use that space for vinyl. The jazz section needs expanding. Folk needs expanding. Classical needs a lot of work. I guess a case could be made that classical in the bins is a waste of space. However, since that’s a huge explorative thing for me, I’ll show up less at the store if they don’t give it at least a little more love.I like very much that they have new product out of Michigan bands. And the new music is general is ample and liberally given space in the store. Electronic needs expanding. It was nice seeing Stereolab nicely represented in the bins. I’ve been a fan since seeing them at Womad in Los Angeles. And that was a good while ago.
Juice Browser: Top Notch! decent prices, very organized, great vibes
Ron Northey: Good selection of used vinyl records.
Candice: Love this place. Narrow but not terrible to move around with a crowd. Crazy good selection of metal/punk/hardcore. Found some really neat albums here and the music they play is top notch.
Josh Wright: Great service, great selection of new and old records, great vibe. My favorite place to buy records.
P M: Was there 10/25/22 to sell some records. It was a very pleasant experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very very fair . Thought they were extremely trustworthy. Never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Will be going back soon!
Ken Huebschman: Nice small business with interesting merchandise.
Chris Wright: Great selections and the knowledge of the staff is Awesome 🤘🏼
Lackey Shackleford: A neat shop with lots of records. Definitely a great selection of punk and metal records to flip thru. Sometimes you can find a gem depending on what your looking for, if your into music themed books or stickers they have a good selection too.
Jessica West: Cool little Vinyl shop, found some rare vinyls we had been looking for.
T H: Great selection and the staff was very engaging and helpful.
chris harrie: very good selection for the size of the shop. Always neat and organized (which I appreciate very much).
Brenda Mims: 5 star vinyl and pop culture shop
Joey Kelly: The girl working at the front counter is pretty disrespectful & unwelcoming
John Mains: Awesome music store
Nathaniel Edmiston: Always nice to visit here. The selection rotates pretty frequently and rewards multiple visits and exploration. The staff is all very friendly and helpful too if you’re looking for something that might be a little elusive. Always worth checking with them before giving up on finding something! You’ll find a healthy mix of genres here, including some rarities and vintage picks that would be hard to find. Lots of rock, soundtracks, metal, punk, jazz, r&b, hip hop, dance, disco, electronic, and of course the all-inclusive independent section. Their independent section is probably my favorite to peruse, which boasts a large catalogue. When you first walk in, you’ll see an end cap by the long aisles of records that has the most recent releases of the week, and also most recently sold records to the store. Be sure to flip through that so you can see what’s most recent before it gets moved to the shelves! Found lots of gems doing that. They have a great policy for buying records too, if you have interest in that. They’ve also got a rewards program that gives you a healthy discount, so make sure you check into that when you’re picking up your goodies.
