Womancare of Macomb PC: what do users think?
Resell King: My baby was born alive and they killed him.
Melissa Green: Dr Kalo was the only Dr who was able to fix my hormone imbalance and help me with a miscarriage! While all other doctors wanted to keep drawing blood and charging my insurance he was the only honest one that gave me bc and helped me balance my hormones! Thank you Dr Kalo for not being money hungry and caring about your patients
Jay M: Please go to northland family planning or planned parenthood before considering this place. There is only one woman working in the office, she can barely draw blood or do a proper ultrasound.. they only communicate with a doctor via FaceTime. This is dangerous business ..I should of walked out when I found out a physical doctor would not be present. They make sure they take your money first before they show how incompetent they are. I just spent 10+ hours in an emergency room because of them. I am pro choice this review is not to discourage anyone from abortions, just a reminder to do your research and don’t end up like me.
No Name: Still pregnant
The final Flash: Don’t come here. They overcharged for everything & the follow up they claim is free is not.
Mick Mick: Very nice staff. comfortable, friendly, timly service
Rob Stephens: Showed up at 9AM as scheduled. They didn't open the doors until 9:30. Worst of all, it's 11AM, I'm in the car and my girlfriend is in the room already done with an ultrasound and blood work... Yet they're still waiting on the "doctor" to actually show up?!?! What the hell is going on here? Completely unprofessional and unacceptable when it comes to health services.
Ckkk Mmh: The women answering this phone doesnt belong in this line of business u dont know people lifes amd why they are choosing this route and u are no one to judge i would never call this place this women is cold hearted and does nothing but run other places down
K Keyla: Do not bother scheduling here they will cancel your appointment the day before
Heather C: I did not visit Womancare of Macomb because the woman on the phone was very cold. When I called back to cancel my appointment they unprofessionally bashed other clinics. I don't know their level of care but their professionalism about such a delicate subject is beyond lacking.
Sue Gable: The clinic has A+ Dr who is kind. But clinic should not allow children in lobby. Plus this clinic does NOT offer counseling for termination procedure. Birth control available. But know going in that this clinic is overwhelmed in it's patient load. They do not have a lot of time for individual attention.. medical procedure only so if you are terminating.. please have solid support system. Someone able to advocate for you as your emotional health is not the priority
jihad hornbuckle: RUDE! They had 5-8 women in the waiting room with scheduled appointments as early as 8am, and the doctor didn't even show up until NOON!! I couldnt even believe it when he came stumbling in demanding a nurse to plug his phone in. The nurses were nice but I do NOT remcommend this place. Its also a pretty gross and unsettling environment. Please go elsewhere. Not to Dr. Kalo.

Henry Ford Reproductive Medicine - Troy: what do users think?
Lidi Armenta: My entire experience with this team was an A+. Highly recommend. Thank you, Dr. H, Lorrie P., NP, and all of the ultrasound techs and nurses.
Katrina Crouch (Blushed Design): Staff was very sensitive overall and celebrated with us when we finally got pregnant! ONE of the ultrasound techs was rather cold, but the rest of them were so nice and sensitive to my feelings during that difficult time. We will go back if we struggle to conceive again!UPDATE:We did have trouble conceiving again and returned in 2019. Some of the nurses remembered me and it was such a comfort to be somewhere familiar. Didn’t run into the rude nurse this time and we had another healthy pregnancy ❤️
Mel: Please do not go here - I would give zero stars if I could . They do not care to help you with infertility/ recurrent miscarriages . I got my HSG test done on April 28th and my Dr. ( Dr. Posegay) has not reached out to me not ONCE afterwards to go over what the next steps are. It is not my responsibility as a patient to follow up, that is the doctors job. Also, they sent me to the hospital to get the testing done and I just got a bill for a whopping $3,100 . PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. I will be finding a different Dr. elsewhere.
Jacob Richardson: Please don't go here. You couldn't pay me to go back. Lack of respect and service to patients even though you bend over backwards to accommodate them. Almost never answer phones. You get a call back after a few days. They do insist they are incredibly busy, but when you get there it is a ghost town.... I wonder why? They insist they are super busy and can accommodate nobody like it's their sole mission. Did I also mention they didn't even do a COVID screen when you walk in? You seriously can't trust this office and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Oh and don't forget: you cannot ever be late even though it looks like the staff do nothing at all. Especially since they say you should call and they don't answer.
Rekiyah Rowzee: Dr Budrys and Her staff is EXCELLENT, very prompt in responding to your messages, very helpful I just love everything about this Office
Marishia Whittaker: My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our entire time receiving care at the Troy location. Dr. Budrys and her team of awesome nurses were helpful throughout the whole process and very patient. I would recommend this location to any women who're trying to conceive. My wife and I are expecting two beautiful twin babies and couldn't be more happy.
tinaloves terrance: I was told I had two blocked tubes ..I watched dye spill out of my right side ...he told me I needed ivf ..never offered any other advice all they want is money from desperate couples I went to oakwood and he put me on clomid he told me my right tube was not blocked!
Amanda Kelly: Very unhappy with my whole experience using this office. Nobody seems to communicate very well or efficiently, and I do not have a lot of faith in this office for future processes that we will probably have to explore. Also, a nurse just released my husband's medical record to me, without even sending to him or his online account, and apparently it never reached the doctor, because I had to send it to her myself. Yet, when I tried to get my own records, I was given a runaround about how to request them. Probably will be looking for a new office, not impressed by anyone here.
Megan Alexa: I had a wonderful experience with this office and their staff. No wait, attentive care and I didn't feel rushed or pushed through at all, which you often get from other doctors. They answered all of my questions, offered a great level of care, and took the time to understand my individual needs. I would recommend this office to anyone!
Piper Furman: The service is horrible and they do not use discretion for your own personal business. I would not recommend going to this particular location.

Michigan Center For Fertility And Women's Health: what do users think?
Shay Bunnie: Very friendly and welcoming. They are sensitive to my needs and always trying to make sure I’m comfortable if someone comes in the room with us or with the procedures. This has been a great experience.
Liz Skelton: I would warn anyone against this office. They were difficult to work with and gave my husband and me false information about our health. After putting us through numerous invasive procedures they refused to treat us because of a slightly elevated A1C that was being managed by a PCP. We never even had the opportunity to see the doctor. We only saw PAs and NPs. At one point they had me come in for a procedure, and after it was done they handed me a $700 bill and said I owed it then and there. They told us we would have to do insemination as well. All lies. We found a new doctor who said there is NO reason we can't conceive naturally with help inducing ovulation. This office is unprofessional, disrespectful, and simply wants to bill as much as possible. Do not let them take advantage of you. I found a new doctor who walked us through our results and what they actually meant, has been a partner in care with us, and who developed a plan for us that doesn't involve invasive procedures in order to get pregnant. We start our first cycle in a few weeks!
Delilah Hines: Very disappointed with thus office. I have an appointment to talk with Mandy about some test results and I'm still waiting. Ive been here 42 minutes and counting. What is the point of coming to get me from the front to put me in a room to just wait some more. At least in the front i know where the door is. I guess my time isn't valuable.
Liz Griem: Amazing staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and help you with whatever your situation is. Nurses, PA’s and Dr. Kowalczyk are quick to get back to you whenever you have any questions and are so reassuring on the phone and help with everything. If something comes up they always have a plan. I’ve been to both Warren and Bloomfield Hills offices and both are great. Highly recommend!
Nicole Grabowski: Signed up for satellite monitoring, I told the office I didn’t have insurance—I would pay out of pocket. My appointment was confirmed for 11/10. On 11/7 I find out I DO have insurance, unbeknownst to me. I call and leave the billing department a message letting them know I have insurance (Medicaid) on the same day. They finally call me back on 11/9, the day before my appointment, and tell me BECAUSE I have Medicaid, they can’t accept me as a patient, even if I pay out of pocket. I have never heard of a policy like this, but that isn’t the issue. My issue is, they took 2 full days and waited to call me back and tell me that I cannot be a patient with them THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT. So now I am scrambling to find another IVF clinic that will accept me as a satellite monitoring patient AND do my baseline labs and ultrasound NEXT DAY. Luckily, RMA of Michigan was able to squeeze me in, AND they had no issue with me paying out of pocket because they didn’t accept Medicaid either. THANK GOD I found RMA of Michigan. IVF is stressful enough without this kind of runaround. The least Michigan center of fertility could have done, was called me back sooner and gave me more time to find another office. Very unprofessional.
Katie Trybula: They are amazing! Very attentive and accommodating. Extremely organized and treat you like family. So thankful to have them while I go through this journey!!
Serena Slaiwa: they didn't help me in anyway after all the crazy charges they charged 😤
Devin Wolschon: After 4 attempts on different days I cannot get a hold of anyone to schedule in
Mariana Carrillo: Had an appointment at 5pm to find out office is closed had asked for day off at work for nothing.
Whitney Brown: No idea what that one star review is about. They always call back! Dr. K and her team are the best! So helpful, very friendly, they are VERY BUSY but extremely responsive.
Alesha Martiss: The 1x1 attention you receive here is like nothing I have experienced before. The atmosphere is calming, which is so important with infertility. I really enjoyed working with both PA’s. Scheduling is accommodating and hassle free. Grateful to have found this office.
Michelle Stein: Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. Love the staff. They helped my husband and I have our beautiful daughter. ♥️
Tammy Putinsky: I could never get a hold of anyone regarding billing questions or when I was trying to reschedule my appointment. I would leave messages and no one ever returned my calls. The way they handled contact during COVID was not very helpful at all and I did not feel they were very understanding of me not wanting to physically come in during the beginning of COVID.

Michigan Center for Fertility & Women's Health - Dr. Carole Kowalczyk: what do users think?
Victoria Leicht: I have nothing but positive things to say about this office. All of the nurses, medical assistants and support staff were supportive and great at answering questions. Alexa was caring, professional and always put my mind at ease during a difficult process.
Mel P: At the beginning of my journey here, I had a few small complaints, mostly with how long I had to wait to start our process lol. Which, at the end of my journey, I realized were responsible tests to do before deciding proper treatment for me. Of course I didn’t think anything was wrong with me, but I also didn’t *know*. I had four IUIs here. The first one didn’t work (which I knew could be a possibility), the second worked, but I miscarried at 8 weeks. The third worked, but I had a chemical pregnancy before 6weeks.After those two losses, Dr. Budrys started running tests on me again for recurrent loss. Again, I was really impatient, but I really didn’t want anymore losses. Our fourth IUI worked, we were able to announce on Christmas, and my baby GIRL is due two days before my birthday. Everything works the way it is meant to, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this office helping us get our miracle.I felt like the office was a tad off communication, until they closed the Lake Orion office and I started going to Bloomfield. From then on out, I got timely calls back, and every small “complaint” I had before, was remedied with that change. Everyone is super friendly here and compassionate. Quick to call in prescriptions, and Robin who did 3/4 of my iuis is always amazing and sweet! I have referred a couple people to this clinic already.
Doug S: I was so impressed with the ultrasound tech's (Becca) bedside manner, knowledge, ability to explain things and also to set her patient at ease. Her passion for what she does was obvious from the beginning . . . you could tell this is more than just a job for her.We had a few bumps in the road with bleeds and clots and multiple months without getting pregnant. Every time I went in for an ultrasound, I was happy to see when it was Becca working that day. She took the time to explain exactly what she was looking at while doing the ultrasound and set my mind at ease throughout the process, which I believe is a big part of realizing success in this overall goal that so many of us have, which is making a baby 😊
Joshua Lisiecki: Although the center employees were very nice, this clinic not only stole money from us, they were very difficult to schedule with, and did not listen to us/ because of this started my wife on an early perimenopause. Luckily we stopped going here before any more damage was done. I hope others have a better experience.
Beth E: Unfortunately, my experience hasn’t been good at all. I came to them to try IUI for unexplained infertility. On my very first CD13 ultrasound, I was told to trigger shot that night, but no one actually showed me how or where to trigger shot. I assumed it must be easy, like other self-administered shots with a button on some sort of housing, or else they’d surely have helped me my first time. Nope, full needle, and I had to watch you tube videos at home to figure it out. My 2nd cycle of IUI, they ran the catheter directly into my Fallopian tubes to find it (instead of using an external ultrasound) before releasing the sample, and the pain was excruciating. My 3rd cycle of IUI, I was told the prior 2 cycles had been checking my progesterone later than they should have, which means I’m now left concerned I wasted two full cycles when the 3rd cycle showed my progesterone low for where it should be 5days post procedure. Lastly, the nurse forgot about me during my third cycle of IUI. Literally. I finally had to JUMP off the elevated table after 30 minutes post-IUI had passed, and no one was coming to get me (should only have been 10-15 minutes of elevated rest, and a nurse comes and puts the table down so you can get off it). The office never had my full file, and when I discussed things with one staff member, it never seemed to make it to the others. I’ve never spoken with an actual doctor since my consultation, and almost every nurse has a different opinion when asked the same questions. I’m really disappointed in the lack of trust I feel for this practice.
Ashley Buhler: All locations were amazing! They figured out the issue and because of them we were able to add another beautiful baby to our family!! I couldn't thank them enough!!

Advanced Women's Health Specialists: what do users think?
Ananya Dutta: i kept getting charged for the same treatment for 3 years even though i made the payment not just once,. but twice online each year. Nowhere it sends a receipt for the payment made to track it in system.Tomorrow I am going in person to make a payment-hopefully after this, I can get a receipt for the payment and they can remove my expenditure from the system for good and not send new receipts for the same thing at the start of each year. Never will go back here . Being charged for the same thing thrice!!
Victoria Catherine: After scheduling a new patient appointment here, I was worried about what kind of care I would received based on these reviews. But my first appointment with Heather, the NP, was informative and eased all of my fears about seeing a gynecologist. I am so glad to have found this office and to be a patient here. Heather took the time to listen to my concerns, went through with blood work and exams necessary to get to the root of my symptoms, was incredibly informative during my diagnosis, and did not push prescription medication on me (which is something I prefer to avoid). The office staff is friendly and I know I am in good hands here.
Chris John: If I can give 0 stars I would so bad I’ll never go backYou would think a team of woman would no how to treat a pregnant woman very rude they should be closed down in very dirty office
Weather Seal: Completely horrible do not care for their patients I never seen such heartless people and a heartless team of doctors very rude staff and nurses are horrible I am looking forward to suing them
Suzy Palmer: Dr. G and her staff are absolutely wonderful and amazing! They're so understanding, friendly and know how to treat a crazy mama who is always so worried about everything! From check ups to deliveries. I couldn't be happier! They even made my husband feel welcomed and answered his questions without thinking twice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
oneta william: Amazing doctor with the best advice friendly too and such nice staff the office is so clean and professional the front desk girls are so easy to talk to same with the M.As very nice office
V J: Staff was very terrible. The nurse practitioner had glassy eyes, and her hands were jittery , like she was on something when she gave me my yearly check-up.The staff was very Un-kind.
kelly R: There is something wrong with their phone line. When I call, I can hear them but they cant hear me. This does not happen when calling any other phone numbers. I've called from a different phone and same issue. There is no other number to call, nor is there an Email address I can use as an alternate communication.
Erin Yang: Didn’t even get basic respect at this place. Called in to make an appointment for a relative who didn’t know much English. Her doctor referred her to this place to check out a very prolonged menstrual cycle. Spoke with a woman over the phone who asked me what the concern was and what insurance she had. Was told they didn’t accept the insurance which was understandable (tone was rude, which was not understandable nor excusable), but she proceeded to say that prolonged periods over 2 weeks long are normal and that there’s no need to check it out at their office. So first of all, if she was a receptionist or a nurse, she shouldn’t be talking as if she was the doctor. Second, if she was the doctor, shame on her for telling us that the issue was not a concern without even seeing the patient. To sum it up: my relative’s pcp referred her here, meaning a DOCTOR believes there’s an issue and they denied her care (oh yeah, on their website, it says they accept credit card/cash payments, so I don’t see why they didn’t explain that she had the option of paying out of pocket if she so wishes. For all they know, her insurance may not even cover seeing a women’s health specialist). This clinic downplayed her issues and concerns without even seeing her. The health care system dominated by male practitioners already downplays the health concerns of women. I expected more from a women’s health clinic .
Sara Myrick: Dr. Jafri was absolutely incredible! I've had horrible experiences at a gyno office and was years overdue for an appointment. She made my appointment the least invasive, least painful, and least judgy I've ever had in over 10 years. I recommend her completely!
Sarah: Please do not go here. You will never get to see the doctor, there is only one and there is hardly ever availability to see her. I schedule weeks in advance to see her just to get a call the day before or morning of asking If I can reschedule because the doctor has something else going on, every single time except one time. Rude office staff who do not think anyone else has a job but them and you should just be able to reschedule at the drop of a hat. I am 37 weeks pregnant and have seen the actual doctor twice. They also lost my urine test when I thought I had a bladder infection and wanted me to go out of my way to retake it. Just don't go here and save yourself the frustration because being pregnant is hard enough. They clearly don't get that. Go somewhere with more doctors who are actually available and value their patients.
apu chowdhury: Terrible customer service. Had a appointment call me hour late then tell me doctor is not here. 👿
saurabh kumar: Good caring hospital
Cristina Zatek: Dr. Ghuznavi is amazing, caring, funny and down-to-earth. My appointments always pretty much run on time. I don't understand any of the bad feedback, but I go for the Gyn services... done having babies!~
Jessica Kulaga: They didnt even tell me i was getting induced till the morning of & all they could say is "im sorry no one informed you but your having your baby today " OH YEAH GREAT DOCTORS RIGHT & i only met the lady that delivered my baby 3 times lol
Liana Del: They operate like robots, fast and wasn't compassionate for me. They treated me like I was just a thing. Not too friendly, no useful advice was shared with me that was very much needed at the time of my situation but instead I had to learn and and get help through google or YouTube when it was too late. They Kept telling me something was wrong with my unborn baby and other hospitals said she's 100% healthy and normal, same with any other testing they gave me. Waste of time and money! It was a roller coaster ride.
Deanna Doede: Dr. Jasmine Ghuznavi is great!

Dr. Carole Kowalczyk, M.D. - Michigan Center for Fertility & Women's Health: what do users think?
Katie McFadden: My experience was really positive at this office. Every single person I came in contact with, was really friendly and welcoming. Most of the time I met with the PA, Alexa who is absolutely amazing. I know that I was not the easiest patient, but Alexa had all the patience in the world for me. She is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and definitely passionate about her job. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone, and if you end up working with Alexa, you’re in great hands.
Mohamad Atrissi: My wife called doctor carol clinic to set an appointment & the operator informed her that we don’t take your insurance. Hence, my wife offered to pay cash but she was informed that the doctor will not take cash or card only through insurance coverage which is weird. She asked her if she can talk to medical assistant to explain to her why she want to set an appointment & what kind of blood test she had through her previous doctor because she want to transfer to doctor carol clinic. The operator get angry & told my wife that I will not transfer you to anyone or you talk to me or we don’t have time for you & she hang up ! My wife tried to call again several times but the call was transferred to the answering machine! So weird ! totally unprofessional & unacceptable. The reason we decided to call doctor carol because my wife’s doctor Rola alaawar recommended her!!!!!
Caro Lynne: Dr. K is God’s sent..She made our dream of becoming parents come true. I work in mother-baby as a RN and having fertility issues myself was hard to deal with but with God’s grace and believing that one day we will have our own, made into reality with the amazing hand of Dr. K. Our son is already 1 yr and 9 mos.now and we are hoping to have our girl frozen embryo transferred someday. We are praying and hoping for a successful transfer again this time.
Aimee Buechler: After losing My 1st child to miscarriage and struggling for over a year to conceive again and came across this clinic, overall this clinic was wonderful I mainly worked with the PA at this location and never once seen Dr. K herself but I now have a 19 month old daughter, and am thinking about coming back to the clinic if needed to conceive another child. The staff here overall listened greatly to what each women has gone through and come up with a different treatment plan for everyone which I think is amazing.
Jessica Clark: My husband and I worked with Dr.k who gave us a very thorough and successful IVF experience. We were so fortunate and blessed that our first round was successful! We will go back for a 2nd round in the near future3. The entire staff is wonderful as well! I Highly suggest choosing Dr.K!
Jennifer Ball: I am currently a patient here while we are preparing for our first transfer. I have not been asked or prompted to leave a review at any time, but I wanted to wait until our egg retrieval to say some honest things about this clinic. If you’re worried reading any bad reviews, please know that while those people are rightfully upset, they are taking out their frustration on the clinic due to the high costs of IVF and not being successful. Not all procedures are 100%, but I will say this clinic will advocate for you to make sure that they are doing everything medically possible to help grow your family. As for any reviews about rudeness… maybe you should treat others the way you want to be treated and see how it goes from there. The support staff here is amazing. I was lucky enough to get to know most of them during my multiple trips when doing injections. They never made me feel unwelcomed or that I was a burden with the multiple questions I had and still have. It was so nice on egg retrieval day having a ton of smiling faces going “hey Jennifer! It’s finally the big day! Yay!” and staff peeking their heads around corners to smile and wave.I am very thankful to find Dr. Kowalczyk and her amazing team. I like doctors and staff that don’t sugar coat things and tell you exactly what you need to do, when and why you need to do it.Even if my transfers are not successful, we will still be trying with the clinic and I would refer anyone to this amazing team.
God Luvs All 277: I would like to know how this doctor got so many 5 star reviews. There literally can’t be a worse place to seek treatment. You NEVER see the doctor, the staff is beyond sub par, the ultrasound tech congratulated on my delivery the previous year which was actually an ectopic miscarriage. I can literally go on and on about how awful this place is. Kowalczyk missed so many issues that likely caused my miscarriages and failed transfers. Moved to Dr. Abuzeid and couldn’t be happier. Please, I implore you to seek treatment elsewhere…I don’t care where it will be better than her. My OB said she will never refer her patients to Kowalczyk after she experienced first-hand how improperly my treatment played out. So for all those 5 star review people, do everyone a favor and stop leaving high reviews for this incompetent doctor. You’re doing more good because then others won’t fall victim to her malpractice.
Autumn Constance: My experience was mostly positive; consult, testing, feedback, and insemination all went pretty smooth. However throughout the process steps were missed or information was relayed incorrectly, and I feel these situations could have been handled with more compassion and care instead of client blaming. Scheduling is difficult as their is little availability, they do offer telehealth but you cant sign documents or paperwork that way, so extra trips to office might be necessary.
Ron and Hannah Alfes: Thanks to Dr. K and the staff at the Warren office, we were blessed with our perfect baby girl in 2019. Everyone was so wonderful and helpful through the whole process. Looking forward to going back in the near future for another transfer.
Amanda Folske: We had a wonderful experience at this office. Dr Kowalczyk is so warm & welcoming. She’s also very knowledgeable, patient, & forthcoming. Kim is a wonderful MA & she makes you feel so comfortable. We went through 4 rounds of fertility treatments before we were blessed with our miracle baby (we are actually going back to see her soon to start the process again) and we are so incredibly grateful for Dr Kowalczyk & her staff. I highly recommend choosing her to help with your fertility journey!
Tam Love: The staff is very friendly but you never see the doctor. I had to request to see the doctor, I seen a different person every time I came. Which was very disappointing.
Rawa: This doctor is all about the money. She acts nice and caring, but she is the opposite. She stole my sister eggs and told her that her eggs did not make it to the fifth day because of bad quality. My sister spent around $10,000 and lost her eggs. Stay away from this doctor!
Jessica Crooks: This clinic is amazing! After roughly 1.5 years of treatments and trying to figure out which meds worked for my body they helped my husband and I bring a beautiful girl into the world. She's almost a year now and I have just gone back for help with baby number 2 now!
Tony Piazza: We had a horrible experience here!We do not recommend going to this office. They did not care about the patient. They only cared about getting money, their payments and charging for more services. The IVF procedure was a failure, they continually bothered us to pay bills for failed and unclear services, and even after we retrieved our frozen embryos from their storage facility, they still asked for additional payment for storage even after they were removed. Horrible! They did not care about the patient. They only cared about getting money, their payments and charging for more services.Go somewhere else.
Rachel May: As I approach another egg retrieval, I had to leave a review. This process is incredibly sensitive and difficult. There’s a lot of tears and a lot of stress, but I’ve felt so incredibly supported with the office behind me every step of the way. Today they let me have the later egg retrieval this weekend so it worked with my sitter, I am so grateful. When you visit an office 2-3 times a week, heck this week it’s 5, you get to know everyone. The staff here is phenomenal. I first met with Alexa and we discussed my options in 2 separate meetings. Then, after my first failed IVF, Dr. K and I spoke via phone and then she fit us in for an appointment to also review everything with my husband.Negative pregnancy tests are hard. But this staff has comforted me every step of the way. The front office greets me with a smile and works around my schedule for appointments. Kim knows the books I’m reading, all of the ultrasound techs ask me about how I’m enjoying boxing, and every time someone calls with my test results they check on me too. Carly encourages me to try boxing in the first place and Barbara always deals with my 20 questions.Highly recommend for this really difficult journey.
TJ Johns: My wife and I had been with Dr. Kowalczyk's office since around June or July 2018. This is a lengthy review, but please read it all if you are considering this office. They were very accommodating with my wife's work schedule; making the times available for early morning appointments. This was very helpful and the only reason for the 1 star review (lesser was not possible). Overall - we tried IUI on four separate occasions, which of course can be a very emotional roller coaster of ups and downs throughout the entire process. A fertility clinic should be a warming environment with a welcoming staff. The staff (other than Alexa - she is GREAT!) was occasionally rude to either my wife or myself on the phone, late to calling with pregnancy results (after 2PM) - when you try to call the office after 2PM - the answering machine advises they are closed, so you are left in limbo not knowing if you will be getting the test results that day or not (they always called, but we weren't sure if they were going to or not).We had countless appointments with this office, at least 20-30, and not one time with 3 negative results and 1 positive pregnancy, did we meet Dr. Kowalczyk. We met Alexa at our first appointment and she went above and beyond and was very helpful. We saw the doctor (know her face based on the internet and their website), but not once did she say hello, introduce herself, or have a consultation with us. At our prior fertility clinic, we met the doctor on the very first appointment (prior clinic closed due to retirement). We both think this is very unprofessional and our OBGYN was just as shocked as us to know that we had never even met the doctor face-to-face, and only spoke to her one time. My wife received a voicemail from Dr. Kowalczyk after our positive pregnancy test when she called to advise it was "okay" to "figure it out with our OBGYN (name w/held)" - I have the voicemail saved for our records.Lastly, when my wife went in for her last pregnancy test, the young male associate who drew her blood advised that her progesterone levels from the prior week were "great!" ---- with my wife's conflicting work schedule, she was unable to get her progesterone levels checked the week prior. This gave us a really bad sense of "are these really are results?" "what paper are you reading from?" "somebody had good levels...heck, we may have, but she was never tested".It was very stressful and the ups and downs, made worse by this doctor, made the overall process harder than it needed to me. My wife was always stressed when going to this doctors office and that's completely uncalled for, especially in this industry. It didn't seem like the doctor cared AT ALL for her patients, based on our experience anyways. We made a few complaints to the medical assistants advising how unhappy we were with the process and the doctors lack of contact with us.Overall, a poor experience with this doctor. We received a different recommendation from our OB and will be taking our business elsewhere as my wife suffered a miscarriage last week. I couldn't put her through this process again with this fertility doctor. My name is Tara Neves, my wife's name is Chelsea Neves and we were patients for about 9 months.
Jacquelyn McKay: My husband and I had a very positive experience with Dr Kowalczyk and the office staff at MI Center for Fertility and Women's Health. It can be a very emotional and challenging time for couples that experience unexplained infertility or infertility in general and want nothing more than to be parents. From the physician to the front desk staff to the Ultrasound Techs and MA's, this team truly provides compassionate quality care. They are truly sensitive to your needs and I am so blessed and thankful for them!
Hannah A: We did IVF and had a successful frozen transfer with Dr. Kowalczyk. Everyone was absolutly wonderful! IVF nurses were always there to answer any questions or concerns we had through the whole process. We are so grateful for this office and everything they did for us.
Seth Winterholler: If you're reading this, chances are that you are struggling with infertility. I am sorry about what you are going through. This is a difficult and trying journey. Hang in there and take care of yourself. With that being said, you've come to the right place. Dr. Kowalczyk is a wonderful fertility doctor. She treats her patients with respect and does not sugarcoat things. She has a way of being caring while also candid at the same time. She will not recommend unnecessary treatments and she will be honest with you about your situation. She is very trustworthy. Her prices are also competitive. Her staff is wonderful, as well. From Liz at the front desk to her nurses and techs, including Bonnie, Ashley, Carly, Julie, Barb, and others. They treat you like family. The communication is excellent. You will ALWAYS receive a return phone call and an answer to your question. In summary, I would highly recommend the Michigan Center for Fertility. God bless you, Dr. Kowalcyzk.
Dena Divine Love: I love Michigan Center for Fertility, they give older wanna be moms like me hope. Dr. K was so personable, I had gotten in a car accident and had to stop treatment before I even began, but I felt like I picked up where I left off. The Nurses and staff are amazing and take their time to explain everything and I mean everything pertaining to your treatment. I call and my phone calls are returned in a timely manner. We're Sean and Denise M. and I can say I am so looking forward to this journey. I know I'm in the right hands. By the way I love Dr. K's office in Warren, you can just feel the love from all the families she's helped. I haven't been to the other office yet, but I'm sure you can feel the genuine love and care as well. God Bless you all and keep doing what God has put in your hearts to do and that's help others in need. I can't wait to share my success story with you all. God Bless
Abir Danial: My husband and I pursued treatment here, made a payment plan for our out of pocket cost. Upon skipping two payments, we got shoved to collections which is absurd to say the least. Billing dept was supposed to communicate with me but rather had collections send us a letter (unprofessional). We regret every penny we paid this office from us of and our insurance. BE WARE

Michigan Center for Fertility & Women's Health - Dr. Carole Kowalczyk & Dr. Nicole Budrys: what do users think?
lyndsey marie: I will start by saying everyone in the Plymouth office is very kind. That’s where the positive experience ends. You will be treated like a number here, and good luck ever speaking to the doctor. After a failed first IUI attempt I had to beg to finally get the doctor to call me back. The group as a whole is extremely disorganized, and consistently made small errors , causing a complete loss of trust and credibility. The final straw was when the ultrasound tech actually told me you could get pregnant up to 6 days after confirmed ovulation. If you work in a fertility office, at the very least I’d expect you to know that isn’t remotely true. I switched doctors and it is night and day. There are much better options in SE Michigan.

Northland Family Planning - Southfield: what do users think?
Ivy Nyburg: I was mostly satisfied with the care provided except for the hidden fact they don't give patients/customer/clients the original ultrasound photos at all under any circumstances which is really odd & made me more upset than I already was to be having a TFMR. The only pics I will have are poor quality.otherwise the staff was mostly kind & I felt well informed, not too rushed. I was there a while though bring a drink, snack & a book, maybe phone charger too if your appointment is on the weekend.Big thanks to everyone at NFP - I just wish I had been fully informed I'd be getting ONLY photo copies of my ultrasound everyone knows ultrasounds come printed on film... y'all can't take six pic instead of only three so we all get originals? just doesn't make sense why y'all "need" to keep the originals? No other clinic or dr office or private practice conducting ultrasound does. I was already so upset to be having a TFMR then having my original ultrasound being stolen was like a punch in the gut.PLEASE inform your clients going forward. I KNOW after reading reviews after the fact that I'm not the only one who was caught off guard and upset by this. Y'all have to do better. Thank you though.
Kendra Baronski: Im using my friends account but I came here today for something I didn’t ever want to but knew it was the right choice.I came early not knowing what to expect and scared but the WOMEN here are true blessings I will thank god for they make you feel so safe and protected.I came in and their were protester and one came up to me and with red paint on their hands touched mine said that’s your babies blood traumatized and broken the who work here and took me back and made me feel so safe the Dr was just as amazing such kind person she made me for safe and welcomed but mostly supportive❤️ thank you all today for your love and support.for those who are scared I know it’s hard I never want that one anyone ether I wish I didn’t have the outcome I did but it’s okay to be upset it’s okay to be broken and it’s okay to feel none of those your feelings and emotions are so valid.I looked up what to expect so I will say it here incase you are unsure be prepared to wait1) check in your ID and take you back they will go over tons of paper work make sure this your choice and talk to you like human and support you they will give you paper work you take in the waiting room and fill out2) they do ultra sound they ask if you want to see the baby or not ( I chose not but changed my mind and wanted to see it)3) another weigh in and blood to check all your vitals4) intake they take hour payment and go through what’s going to happen I was so nervous I didn’t listen to all of it.5) I did surgical they took me back and talked to me again and made feel so safe6) I got the IV felt nothing woke up in recovery where the nicest girl will get you heating pad I brought an adult diaper for the bleeding it was easier and sweats they helped me get dressed.7) I was good to go home I slept a lot the pain does hurt but thing not manageable and the bleeding is the worst part but I hate periods to begin with.8) you go home you rest you do feel out of it but at the end you made the best choice for yourself.Again thank you to all these ladies.Ans all the women I met you will forever be kn my prayers❤️
Gavin McFadden: The procedure saved my girlfriends life due to mental health issues- she feels she cant be a mom yet- this isnt an easy decision but we connected our heads and our hearts to decide what’s best. Thank you for taking care of women so desperately in need. This facility was the cleanest and kindest that we could find in the Detroit area. We are so grateful to have this safe option.
Raven Graham: Went there today, service was bad. The manager apologized after I posted a review, made me delete my original review. when I left they didn’t even get me all my medicine now this is my second time calling trying to see where is the antibiotic nobody seems to know. This is very terrible
Anya Blumenfeld: Judgmental, passive aggressive, refused service when I privately voiced an opinion to a staff member. Clearly they have little to no training with mental health crisis, which one would think staff members in such a sensitive medical area would be thoroughly trained on. I thought doctors had to treat all patients regardless of personal beliefs, apparently not here.
Meagan Norman: Horrible place. Rude staff. Little to no customer service. Read their replies to each review they are even nasty on here with their responses. Definitely does not provide great customer service. They are very argumentative and rude towards every patient. I don’t see them being in business for too much longer too many people are complaining about their services. They lack empathy and are not understanding at all. All they will do is respond here and say they never serviced me or they don’t understand what happened it’s all a ploy to cover up their rudeness. They really don’t care and it’s way too many negative responses on this company.
Chris Black: This place told me to come at 8am, they said expect to be here 6-8 hours. It’s a room full of women who are waiting at least 30 women waiting. I got here at 8am it’s 2 pm. I just sitting here waiting. Nothing is done. They got to do better. All these women have been sitting waiting. We are hungry, tired. There no way we should have to wait 6 hours just to be called for a 5-10 min procedure. This is dumb. Figure out a different way. I’ll don’t recommend this place
C: Trash, they don’t tell you the 24 hour paperwork is time-stamped or that you’ll need it to be served and then blame you and are rude to you about it. Jocelyn the receptionist chooses to say snarky things to make you feel badly when you’re already suffering. Worst customer service ever I could never get away with talking to people the way she does at my healthcare job.
Jena H: Sat for 8 hrs, then had a misabortion, had to be rush to er
Angel N: The staff here is amazing. Your reason for coming can be nerve-wracking, but you are safe here. They go above and beyond to comfort you and give you everything you need, including a hand to hold the entire time. Thank you to the staff for being a positive light in this world and during these sad times for people.
Shantwanice Vincent: Every single staff person I encountered was really nice. At no time did I feel judged or rushed. I was confused on my appointment time and showed up an hour late, they still saw me and didn’t make me feel bad about my late arrival. They just informed me that since I was late, I would have a longer wait time. My total time from check in to discharge was just about 4hrs. The initial waiting room is very neat and clean. I liked when I signed my name on the check in sheet that nobody except the staff could see my information. I was able to receive some financial assistance to offset my amount owed. They gave me a mask and i sanitized each time i was called back. The doctor was patient and kind and compassionate. She explained everything and answered my questions. When I expressed that i was scared/nervous she was very reassuring! My decision was a tough one to make, but the process was painless for me. If I ever had to experience this again or recommend a safe place to go, this would definitely be my go to
Kayla Kaala: Very rude and inconsiderate I was told to be there at 8am I got there at 8am I was not seen until 12pm-1pm . The lady taking ultrasound was very rude and aggressive
Jessica k.: The office is very clean! The staff makes you feel so comfortable and they’re so nice. 10/10
Keep it real: I have to say making the decision to have an abortion was really difficult, but the staff here was absolutely amazing. every single person I spoke to today was very helpful and encouraging in my decision. I chose to go to surgical route Kinda painful but doctor Ramen talk to me through it all while one of the lovely nurse assistance held my hand I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to take care of your business. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart❤️❤️
Lashawn Griffin: They are very rude and unprofessional....had to be there at 830 am didn't get called back til 215pm when I asked why I was there so long, the so called manager or nurse was so rude and nasty til I asked for a refund..and she continued to be a nasty human being with no empathy what so ever.... this is already a hard life decision why would you be worse than the protesters outside.... 😡😡😡🤯
sfnaser: Supportive environment with a caring staff who are all very attentive to the needs of their patients! Clean facility, and integral to the community
Trinhsetter: I was pregnant 22 weeks and my baby has a lot of abnormalities and not given even 1% chance of survival. I finally come to a heart wrenching decision( termination). The staffs were extremely excellent. They completely professional and helpful. I always get taken care of with any pain or discomfort right away. The d&E was not traumatized like i thought at all. I was out like a light bulb. When i woke up, everything was over. I am in a healing process and extremely thankful for all staffs in the Southfield clinic. My daughter anf I are at peace.
Bryana Marks: A couple weeks ago I had a D&C done. After my procedure I started having some complications and the staff was right on to fixing it. I was scared out of my mind and everyone was so caring and stayed by my side. I unfortunately had to go to the hospital for extra care and the staff still stayed by my side until the ambulance got their to transport me. After coming home from the hospital the staff still made sure to check on me. I appreciate everyone at this facility who made sure I remained calm and kept the positive thoughts going.
Terra Moore: Staff was very rude when I mentioned my concern about every one not wearing a mask there was 10 people waiting in one room, when I addressed it staff said “I could leave” and not have services.
Family Fun: Please go everywhere but here !
Holly Burks: The staff is extremely rude and insensitive. They don’t treat patients like feeling human beings. The building is old and run down and their equipment is outdated. Please avoid this place like the plague if you can help it.
