AYWC MEDIA: I remember when the pool here was open to the public. It was amazing. They need to restore it
colette nutton: What a gem! The Friends of Detroit Rowing was essentially started in the 1800s and is the oldest in the US! The building it is housed in is gorgeous (needs lots of TLC, as it was built in the early 1900s).
Ty Kennedy: Had a fantastic experience at the bourbon tasting hosted by the Detroit bolt club. Will be attending next year if they have one.

Latimer: Not only is the boat club seeping with history and built with innate architecture, but it offers a beautiful view of the Detroit River. A great training facility and an even more amazing venue!
Jenny Sorbie: My sister had her wedding service and reception there. It's a beautiful, charming, and historic building. It reminded me of a building in Europe. The ballroom was large enough to hold the reception of at least 100 people. Very happy with this venue!
Mike Dockus: Beerfest was a blast! Hope they get to renovate the premises.
Halle Pepper: Im a rower for DBC amd the facilites while are a bit older, everything is in great working conditions. The machines are nice and locker rooms are kept up.

Karen Morris: The drinks were good, however, out of the 4 in our group, 1 meal came quickly and the other 2 were not far behind. The 4th meal was very late. The restaurant did take it off of the bill. The Lardon salad was ordered with shrimp. The shrimp was very spicy but it was not mentioned on the menu. I believe a spice level should be added to the menu. If some one does not like spice, their meal would have be not palatable. With that.said, the location is amazing.

SpidersInMyBed: Nice litte bar. hang out, eatery. Right off the water with a small outdoor patio. The upstairs has a kitchen with a modest size dining area, very clean and recently redone, perfect for hosting a small affair.

Vickie Maddock: OCBC is a members only establishment, you can also go as long as you are with a member. It's a nice place on the canal of Sylvan Lake. I happen to know many people that are members of the boat club so I am able to visit often.

Deborah Y Harman: Great spot right on the water with reasonable pricing. Parking is tight if they are very busy for an event or something. It is just the lack of space on the waterfront.

Deborah Harman: The facility is really nice and comfy with a fire place inside. Outside, there are two Tiki Bars for nicer weather and a nice Marina. This is a members only club the best that I could tell. You have to signed in as a guest. We can't wait to visit during the summer. We met some really nice people! Drink prices are very reasonable also.
