Eric Carlson: I've eaten a lot of pupusas all over the U.S. and these are easily among the very best. The curtido is excellent. The whole meal was great and an amazing bargain. The only downside is the parking lot, but that won't stop me from returning.

Thee Artistic Squad: Customer service is terrible! My order was completely wrong. I requested a refund for the order, they gave me a hard time when trying to get a refund. I was never issued a receipt when I paid. I’ve supported this restaurant and no longer will anymore. I would not recommend anyone to eat here.Parking: Parking lot is terrible
Gordito DeFela: Closest thing to Puerto Rican cuisine is this Salvadoran / Mexican hybrid restaurant. This plate is their ground beef empanadas, fried cassava (yuca frita), pan fried plantains and fried pork chunks. Don't care for the spicy slaw. Their orchata drink is the best I've tasted. Definitely going back to try other stuff.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Plantains, Rice and Beans, Salsa, Chips, Chips and Salsa, Pupusas De Queso Frijoles Y Loroco and Beef Empanada, Fried Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Ahren Savickas: How do you usually get your Latin Street food? Mine is with their Polo pollo guisado and the sauce on the side is sweet.
Chris Gibson: The food and service was very good! The actual place is small, however they do have an add on building with more tables. I'm very glad to had found this place. I had a taste for empanadas and it came up in Google search! Thanks Google!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tacos, Shrimp Tacos and Steak Tacos, Pupusas De Queso Frijoles Y Loroco and Beef Empanada, Carnitas Tacos, Salsa, Chips and Salsa, Corn Tamales …More

Jack Riviera: Just get the Papusa dinner.. select the fillings of your choice. Add a side of fried plantains because you deserve it.Put aside every other judgement you have as you drive up and walk in.The food is phenomenal. The people are great and clearly care and work hard to put out excellent food.Just try it and you will see what you were missing.
Chanel Drake: The inside of this place is very dark and dingy. They have a total of four or five booths and three of them have the windows covered. They do have and eating area outside when it's warm and it's basically a big tent with plastic covers. They're parking lot is super small like I think there's six spaces. You have to park over on the building next door in their parking lot if you want a parking spot. I've gone there for a couple times because it was convenient. I won't be going back again.Parking: Unwelcoming, dark, outdated.

Pawas Somvanshi: Delicious food & very good service ! I did a dine in here & despite reaching only 30min before closing time I was welcomed without any hesitation. I have to appreciate that the staff did not tried to rush through despite being the final 30min of their closing hours. They showed great hospitality. I could order anything I wanted. I ordered Empanadas, Papusas, Pollo Guisado. The food was served on time without any follow up & I could tell that it was freshly cooked. Salad was also fresh. I only had appreciation for the chef & the staff. I wasnt finished with my food until 9.15pm but nobody bothered me about the overtime. They let me finish my food in peace. I will visit more.Vegetarian options: they have vegetarian options too !

Kurt Hohmann: Small hole in the wall Salvadoran restraunt with very good food. Try the pupusas (chicken, beef, bean or cheese) they are cheap but oh so delicious. Two are more than enough for me a grown man. But there are so many other awesome selections as well. No frills place, service is ok, but you'll go here for an affordable and scrumptious Mexican and Salvadoran fare.

Pupuseria Y Restaurante Salvadoreno: what do users think?
Andy Newton: Don't let the outside fool you! They are definitely open. The most filling/tasty meal for under $10 you can get in Detroit. No doubts about authenticity at this place.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Dos Pupusas Dinner Con Arroz Y Frijoles …More
Kevin Pena: I'm Salvadoran traveling through Detroit for work from Los Angeles where there are over 2 million Salvadorans. Happy to see my people in the midwest. Great food.
Alba McConnell: First time visiting this restaurant. I ordered the cheese &beans pupusas dinner. This was absolutely delicious!!! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste Salvadorian food. You won't be disappointed. And the lovely couple seating next to me that paid for my lunch I want to say thank you, it will comeback to you 100 fold.
Nia P: Contestan el telefono como si fruera a llamar a su casa. Esto es UN negocio Gente contestan Bien por favor
A P: This would have been a five star review food was amazing, waitress was new but really tried and did a good job, menu has no prices should have been a red flag but didn't realize they just decided to charge you whatever they want to, waitress was like I'm new and I'm so sorry she just kept apologizing I asked for a manager and was told one wasn't available, and I would like to note I was charged 22.00 for chicken soup. All the recipt says is all food and amounts entered the only item specified on our receipt was the cheapest item. Great food but who wants to leave lunch feeling ripped off, to note this is listed on ever site as a $ restaurant price range so I didn't expect 100 bill for lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids not including tip.
Logan Collier: Incredible food, super affordable. A meal that feeds your soul

Cesar Hervert: This place become one of the most expensive experience in Mexican Town. I know the present economic crisis everything is more expensive. But, 3 breakfast plates, one pupusa and 3 coffees for $79? The servers has not experience. The lady made me wait in the cashier after telling me that she will be right back, she walk around and start "flirting" with couple customers in the table totally ignoring me when I ask her to take care of my bill she started making faces. After I left 25% tip.i was a regular customer and I ignore many other things because I like the food but that's it. I'm done with this place.
Veronica Rodriguez: Pupusas y el Mundial, papi chulo.
CORAZON CRISTERO ORAD Y LABORAD: This place needed better service Not friendly at all there's respectful no buenoParking: very muddy

Robert G: Great customer serviceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Liz G.: The food is wonderful, it's always so good. But unfortunately the service is really bad like really really bad which usually I don't care as long as the food is good but this time I don't think I can let it slide. First they don't offer or give you your beverage even if you ordered one. I had to ask for a cup of water twice so don't expect refills cause she doesn't even look your way. We ordered at 3:00 it was 3:55 and we still didn't have our order. They don't give you beverages, napkins or good service.
