jackie dalton: We went on mother's day and was forced to get the buffet. We didn't know that until the end of the 200 dollar meal that was brought to our table. The way we found out, we wanted to take our leftover soup home and was told the manager said we couldn't because it was a buffet. They gave us options to pick and told us the price. We had no control of the amount of food brought to the table but was told we would be charged a waste fee for not cooking All of it. Allen: The table near the window is very dirty. You can see a lot of oil stains and marks under the sunlight. The seafood is not fresh. The squid has changed color. The mussels have spoiled the taste. I feel a little indigestion in the stomach at night. It is similar to the fuji buffet next door The comparison experience is terrible. And their price is actually a bit more expensive than the fuji buffet.. I don’t know where the confidence comes from.. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Chendi Li: Was in Michigan for graduation weekend and stopped by for lunch. Definitely had better hot pot back home in the tri-state area. I'm used to AYCE for less than $30 pp. Here, our bill came out to be $100+ for 3 people, which is a lot for the amount of food we ordered. Make sure you keep track of which items you ordered because the server forgot the . The service was bad considering the place was pretty empty. No one came back to check on us and we had to physically get up to ask the server for more water.Everyone gets their own pot with 1 or 2 soup bases. The tomato and oxtail soup base, angus meat, and the sampler of meat/fish balls were good. Surprised to find a hot pot place in Michigan, however, the quality is incomparable to NY/NJ (*sorry not sorry).

A Z: 2023 MARCH UPDATE: the third time coming here and sadly the staff has only gotten lousier, worsening the whole experience. I ordered a few things off the bbq menu, specifically the lamb kebabs, clams, and enoki mushrooms, but apparently the server missed all that on the paper we filled in, so she ended up putting it in 20min late. Then, she gave us the grilled eggplant instead of the grilled enoki mushrooms and I told her that, but she insisted the eggplant was the enoki mushroom. Please, never do that again. Do not try to trick a customer who knows the difference between an eggplant and enoki mushrooms. That was really rude of you and very disrespectful. At least you finally realized your mistake after and went to put in the correct order for the second time, but you didn't even try to really apologize for your mistake. Then you came back and told us to just eat the grilled eggplant anyway, suggesting that it would be on the house. But to our surprise, it wasn't. We had to pay for it at the end, but it was already getting late and too difficult to get the server's attention, so we just paid and left.The server that day was so kind and the food was amazing! Definitely one of the best hotpots I've ever had. The lamb and beef looked fresh and sliced thinly, the seafood combo included hoki clam (one of my favorites) which I've never seen at a hotpot place, and they also had lotus root and bamboo shoots, which I also really like. There are many things to try and it's really all up to your taste since you can order plate by plate. They also had a sauce section where you can go up and mix your own sauce to dip your hotpot foods in, but they seemed to be running low on sesame paste, so I had to use the peanut sauce instead, which was a little too sweet for my taste. I'll have to go back next time for the sesame paste 😄Besides the hotpot they also had Chinese bbq! I loved the cumin lamb skewers, grilled eggplant, and grilled enoki mushrooms (they were so good I ate most of it before taking a picture 🤣). If you don't wanna try the hotpot, the bbq is a solid second option.

Linh Tran: We had bad experience with manager here . She tried to kick me out , she said with bad attitude without professional as her position must be required , she said no come back again . This is hot pot restaurant can’t be rush with hot food . They gave us a last call to leave restaurant in 15 minutes at 10pm . The first problem that they did not confirmed the restaurant close at 10pm ( we got there at 9 pm , with 3 guest ) , second the food was wrong for my order , last one we waited 45 minutes to have food even though restaurant was slow not busy . She said that : i gave you guys 1 hours to finish your food , and get out at 10 pm .

Rachel Vinson: I’m a party of three and have been sitting more than half an hour waiting for a server. Have asked twice for service. Table that sat the same time as us is already eating. 7 top that just sat down got asked if they were ready to order. Discrimination at its finest. Server actually just came. Didn’t even get an apology. They honestly don’t deserve our patronage but I’m hungry. I’m a server and am very understanding but this is terrible.

J Micallef: It had been years since I'd had Korean BBQ and when my friend suggested it, I jumped on the opportunity. The original place we were going to go was closed because of a snow storm, but Chung Ki Wa was not only open, but the best place we could have ended up.The staff were kind and friendly, and so helpful. The food was amazing. Best kimchi I've ever had. We all agreed that every dish was delicious. We will be back!

jaylynn Gladney: PLEASE GO HERE!!! Not only was the facility beautiful but so were the people here. I had a hard time finding a meal and the waitress had no problem offering her opinion when asked. There was another woman there, just as beautiful, was a big help whenever I needed something like wifi. Lastly, the prices were fare and the food was immaculate ✨👌🏼.
