Secretary of State office: what do users think?
Valerie Viola: Yesterday I went to renew my license in this place and I was really satisfied with Shauntee's excellent attention! This is really the first time that I have received first-class attention, super friendly and efficient! I definitely recommend this place!
Jill Laroway: Great Experience!! Not very busy at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
David Maxon: For not having an appointment they understood I had a small problem and took care of it fast.
Marwan Adam: I have never had a good person, explaining everything doing her job for the nice attitude ..thank you for your help and your time you are the best shaunte thank you
RIXXBIZ: Tamara was delightful!! Her manage was equally awesome and I feel horrible for not getting her name. What is truly amazing though, is that the visit took a TOTAL of FIFTEEN minutes!!Best SOS experience of my life. Period.
Anar Nissan: Customer service is HORRIBLE on the phone the representatives huff and puff and then end the phone on your face
angela P: In and out very nice and fast service.
KAREN VAN PAMEL: Shante was our Sec of State rep earlier today and she was FANTASTIC!! Super personable and professional 👌
Michael J: Very very annoying that some talk radio is on at a low volume so you can’t really hear it clear. All that goes in everyone’s subconscious so thanks for driving me crazy the whole entire freaking time. Very rude and inconsiderate.
Tim Brosnihan: Even though I followed the directions on the sign for my appointment I was stopped going in and had to be checked in by a person.
Ashley Cuthbert: Very fast and efficient service!! The people who work here are very nice. This was the best Sec of State I ever been to!
Stringer Justin: The ladies working were very professional and extremely friendly, made the experience great..
brian K: Shante is great at this location
J: I hate the Secretary of State.
Valorie Anderson-Branch: Very efficient and very well organized
Mary Beth Pace: Used SOS to transfer a title to a well deserving family that needed a car. Appt at 10, done by 1020. Great customer service. Thank you
Fred Gibson: My wife passed away a few months ago after a lengthy battle with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She had a lease vehicle that I needed to have the lease transferred to my name. After months of extremely frustrating phone and written communications with the company that leased the vehicle, I finally rec'd a packet from the lease company that would allegedly allow that to occur and allow me to renew the now expired registration plate. I made a same day appt with the Sterling Heights branch on 19 Mile Rd. That was amazing of itself. I arrived early - with all paperwork in hand. I was greeted by a very gregarious lady who ckd my paperwork and directed me to a very short line. The lady I first met with was very pleasant. She was concerned the leasing company didn't send me the correct documents. You can imagine my frustration. I explained the difficulties dealing with the leasing company to that pt. She discussed the matter with the branch Mgr. -Elizabeth. Elizabeth took the time to contact the leasing company herself. She then took even more time to fax necessary documents to the leasing company. Because the plate was expired and due to the circumstances contacted her higher up to try and waive the fee for a 'temporary' plate. Even though that was not possible Elizabeth explained what I needed to do to follow up with leasing company and with Sec of State to achieve finalization of lease and plate transfer/renewal. I think she saw the tears in my eyes that I was trying to hide. She went above and beyond as did the first 2 CSR's I had contact with. Absolutely impressed. Thank you.
Missy Stables: I had the most wonderful, upbeat, cheerful, sweetheart help me out today by the name of Shauntee and she deserves a raise! She's by far the nicest and most helpful customer service worker I've ever encountered in my life! If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Evan Gonzales: This was the most streamlined and nicest SOS/DMV visit I've ever had in my entire life. Staff were super nice and efficient. It was borderline a good time, but let's be honest with ourselves, no SOS visit is a "GOOD" time... It did approach it, though. 10/10 would license again
Aditya Deshmukh: Great and efficient staff.
j mizz: My wait was to long my process was quick

Secretary of State office: what do users think?
AM SPIEGEL: Super chill experience. 3 enhanced licenses in 12 minutes easy! Definitely exceeded expectations
Ron Houseman: Nice and helpful
Geni Zeroni: Came in with an apt for a license after moving here was helped very quickly by a women with brown hair and dimples. She was very kind and had me out of there quick.
Colin Ryle: They really have it streamlined now. Make an appointment ahead of time. It was quick & easy.
Deepesh Reddy: The appointment system is very easy and convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful. Get the things done in minutes if we have all the supporting documents handy.
Sahid Mansour: Keyera was great and I was in and out within 10 minutes. Great service.
Kiran Sankanur: The appointment system is very easy and well maintained place. People are very helpful and your work will be completed within minutes if you have all the documents right.
David Mc: Went at 11;30AM without an appointment. I felt guilty with others waiting on chairs. I was out within 15 minutes!
Ed Lukens: I waited over 2 hours to transfer the title on a collectable vehicle I bought. They typed the mileage on the car as 168,461 instead of 160,461 just before closing. I had to drive the car home to central Ohio that night. The Ohio Clerk of Courts issued a title with the 168,461 miles instead of the 160,981 the BMV had just confirmed in a VIN check.
Makhethe Vuma: Ms Jay was awesome! She and I, her co-workers and other customers were cracking jokes through the whole otherwise mundane process, while paying attention to detail and explaining everything thoroughly. They will test you though if you’re getting a license transfer, and they won’t help you with the answers 😆
City Valet Parking Management: Service is poor.
JoeR W: 3 hours to renew a drivers license. The manager just sat in her office and never came out to help a single customer even though around 75 people are standing in her branch. This place is a joke. They have 12 service windows and only 5 are in use. When I signed in 118 people were ahead of me.
Lin Sal: Very nice lady. I was in line 11 but I don't recall her name, maybe kayesha? Anyway, she was very efficient, cheerful, and helpful. Also had very nice, neat, legible, handwriting.
Fozz Dowsley: We had an appointment at 9:30 this morning. We walked in and were greeted promptly by a lady with an iPad who checked us in. We just needed to get a copy of our title. She directed us to the line in the middle of the office. We waited maybe 10 minutes, and were called to the counter. The lady who helped us was extremely helpful, friendly and quick. As someone who remembers the “old days” of spending hours waiting at the SOS, this experience was fantastic! Thank you SOS for getting things under control and making things much better.
kirkkath: I was able to book a next day appointment online with ease. I walked into the office and there was no chaos. There was a person at the front desk that provided clear guidance once I told her my appointment time and reason for appointment. I was in and out of my appointment to update a vehicle title in 10 minutes. This place has really improved.
IT Dhoosh: Never seen people treating others like animals. Worst worst worst staffs! Pls pick other sos, there are really nice people who treats others with compassion and empathy,
Daniel Mendias: I schedule on Monday at 4:30 pm and it was almost empty. Dont expectate people to be as gently as if it was early morning.
Paulene Anne Lasaca: I've been here multiple times. The first few times I had no problem and even got in early. But this one specific time I had this guy who had the BIGGEST attitude over the fact I gave my SSN in protective cover. He demanded I give it to him "properly" by removing my clear protective cover. He was overall rude. But the other workers at the place were very nice and respectful. Just try not to get your information done with this guy.
J P: The clerk I had today at this Troy location was extremely rude and not very knowledgeable. She also became very defensive when I pointed out multiple times that what she was saying was incorrect according to the SOS website itself. I left this office in tremendous frustration. I went to the office in Oak Park and got the matter resolved immediately.
Gary Grimm: The staff is extremely rude. If you can, use a different branch.
Guillermo De La Mora: Service way more promptly, just had to wait 30 minutes on my appointment that I got the same day, and I was out in no time.

Secretary of State Self-service Station: what do users think?
Traci Privette: Love how easy it was to renew my license online. I think it cost $18. The site was easy to sign into. My phone saved my username and password from my previous use. It was nice to not have to hassle with any of that. They also had me do some quick security stuff to make sure I am me.
Christine Harrison: No line! Great place to go if you only need the kiosk!
A Adas: Easy and fast when you don't have to go to secretary of state office.

Secretary of State office: what do users think?
susie lee: I had pang and she was friendly. Must make an appt!
Steve Barber: The office was very efficient. You will need to make an appointment just to stand in line. However, everyone was very polite and helpful.
MsMoua01: It’s always a great experience coming here. I’ve never had an issue, but now that there’s kiosk available at Kroger it definitely saves me a lot of time coming here. If you’re just wanting to get your title and registration done then I recommend the kiosk.
J B: APPOINTMENT REQUIRED at this location, NO WALK INS even if you’re disabled. Plus, Thursdays open at 10am not 9am (or at least they did today 5/4/23). Make an appointment online or call to make an appointment. If no appointment, then they will make you make an appointment inside and tell you to come back either later that day or the next day. But the workers were at least nice.
Chris Davis: Very nice staff and they don't play in there they get you in and out fast .......
Rolaine Hearn: This was the most pleasant visit. I walk in with a question no appointment, couldn't get the website to work and the lady at the information desk was pleasant, helpful , got me an appointment. I was in-and-out in less than 15 minutes. It was a good day.
Richard Dolata: We all wish it was faster
Denise Leonard: Enjoyed that my visit wasn't that long
Іван Цимбалістий: Real professionals work here. They solved the problem in 10 minutes, which Hamtramck Sec of State couldn't do in 40 days.
Boba Foot: I recently brought in a bunch of documents for our business, which was switching names. In my multiple visits taking care of our boats, trailers, and trucks, I was helped by several employees. All were helpful and friendly. This is the best SOS office I have been to. Erin was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me through most of the process.
ric allen: Oleshia was great. Help us get in and out quick
Cash For Cars A1-Abbeys Cash For Junk Cars: Very fast.
Christin Dewberry: DO NOT GO HERE. I have been to SOS in Clarkston, West Bloomfield, Southfield and even Pontiac and received MUCH better service. I scheduled two appointments for two transactions at 2 pm and 2:10 pm. I arrived in time, and was ushered to the line where I waited for almost an hour. Once I was finally called to window 4 a light skin young lady with glasses and a ponytail was sitting with a a very upset look. I greeted her and let her know why I came in. As I mentioned I have been to other SOS so I am used to a little attitude from the employees but this lady didn't even respond to my greeting. She did NOT ask for the documentation for my enhanced license and proceeded to patronize me. This lady had such a disgusting attitude I had to take the high road. But 0/10 I do not recommend this SOS I actually think they need to close it. It is poorly ran and inefficiently functioning. I hope they close.
Juanita McKeever: Experience thorough and quick, even without an appointment. Not real busy perhaps due to impending weather.
Margaret: I had an appointment at 3 o'clock they had me sit for 15 minutes then I took my CDL test which took hour and a 1/2 and I failed, Gotta take it again, Next time I'm gonna ask for earphones cause it was very distracting in there noisy And study some more
Robert Baber: You better have an appt. Or you don't get to be seen until your time is ready.
Franklin Olterman: Make sure you ignore the signs even though they say have a seat no need to check in if you scheduled an appointment you still need to check in for your name to be called sat there for an hour before I went up to ask to finally get put on the list
lance l: Horrible and rude dealing with these clowns. They need training on good customers skills. Wish I can give 0 stars.
Francis Sana: Very friendly and helpful. I'm usually in and out with no issues, in no time.
Chuck Stimac: Very happy with the staff they were super helpful. Guy at the front door was awesome!
John Golec: Got everything handled ... thank you for being there.
