Jennifer Wiebelhaus: The staff at the Sunglass Hut within Macy's at Lakeside is unhelpful and inconsistent. I had stopped twice prior to look at sunglasses and received no help besides a "take a look around" and no real answers when I had questions. I have had two recent "issues" about the same pair of sunglasses. I bought the RayBan's online through Macy's - I went to the store with the original box with bar-codes attached to ask to have them adjusted and I was told that I needed a receipt to prove that I bought them from there. Apparently the bar-codes on the box were not enough. Okay - came back another time to a different lady working and she didn't even care or ask if I bought them from there or ask to see a receipt, she just adjusted them. Not a big deal - just a waste of time and again, no consistency. Second issue: Was already at the mall so I stopped to ask about a repair I needed done to my glasses and what I had to do to get them fixed. She asked me a few questions and told me what I had to do and that I would have to pay for half the price of the sunglasses if it has been longer then the 90 day warranty. I came back 2 weeks later with receipt and she told me "I can't help you. There is nothing I can do." Again, consistency or at least provide customers with the correct information the first time so they do not have to waste their time. Will not be buying from Sunglass Hut again or sunglasses from Macy's.
Nick: I am very disappointed at the Macy's Salon area. The people there are NOT professional at all. They had me waiting there endlessly. Mind you, I had an appointment as well. Anyways, I simply got up and left. I advise you not to go there. Very bad!

Aiman Chatle: The doctors have been fine but the front desk is atrocious. Very unprofessional seems like no vetting what so ever as to who they put up there to deal with customers. I called to make an appointment after getting their appointment reminder and called during the posted pandemic hours and the phone just rang and rang...no voicemail no pickup nothing. A week or so later I’m in the area so I decide to just walk in and just book the appointment in person. The two ladies seemed confused so I said it again slowly I would like to make an appointment. One started to make her way to her computer then decided to just give me a business card and to use the number to make the appointment because they are about to close. I told them I tried that route but no one picks up over here. At that point I decided to just walk away only to be given a snarky “have a nice day’. Will never use that place again, I have an appointment somewhere else thank god.

I'm always nervous going to the eye doc just from past experiences where I had a doctor yell at me because I told him that there was no difference in the two lenses. According to my visit the other day it seems like prices have not went up and glasses. I would highly recommend this location. The only thing that was a little deceiving was the buy one get 1/2 off. They take the half off of the retail price so it’s not half off the price that you paid for your original glasses, it’s almost double.

Richard Schlagel: I walked in knowing what sunglasses I wanted so the worker had a easy sale. She opened a drawer to grab a pair of my sunglasses I picked out but did not find it in stock. She then began to take a sticker off the arm of the floor model sunglasses and began to sell me them. Also asked if I wanted a protection plan. ( I couldn't believe it) I asked if I could have a new pair at that point and that's when she said we do not have it in stock. She then said she will order them online so I gave my info and paid and left. Once I left I went online to see what my Oakley glasses cost to buy online seeing that's what I had to do. I found out that my Oakleys were 20% off at the store but she didn't give me the discount as well. What a joke. So my 20% discount turned into this review of my experience at Partridge Creek Sunglass Hut. Buyer beware.

They were not taking cash because they couldn’t make change, so she held them for me. Sara was super friendly even helped me with my change pouch that got stuck. She was super personable and friendly. We take exceptional care of our glasses and treat them very respectfully because of the hefty price tagUnfortunately, recently my mother’s pair broker. The arm snapped off and I knew she was afraid to tell me because she knew I would be upset that the gorgeous shades I bought for her are broken.I don’t know who took care of my mother today, but thank you. My mother provided proof of authenticity, the box her sunglasses game in, and proof of purchase and they were able to replace her a brand new pair at no cost.Customer service is very important to me. I will be coming back to this location for my accessories. Thank you for the great experience, I know my mom is very happy as well.

MpM 2025: 05/21/23I was at them 14 mile Macy’s today. I had very wonderful and excellent customer service by Miss Alesha she helped me find exactly what I need and everything I need and it took her only five minute I was so surprised I am amazed by her customer service in my whole entire life. I never had this kind of service in anywhere I am very humbled and appreciated for her service. Thank you for everything you made my day. anytime I will wear and every time I will wear my new Gucci glasses. I’ll think about this location.

Never glanced back, never apologized, did't come back after I stood there flabbergasted for five minutes. I finally left. Will never buy anything here.

Good frame selection and I received my glasses within a week. Never again will I go back to the chain stores that offer deals on your health (glasses).

The next morning I went to Miller Optical and asked if I could pay them to make my glasses so I can wear them again. They refused to be paid but they did fix my glasses for which I'm extremely grateful. Actually this happened a couple years ago also. Same situation. Friendly helpful staff
