ppr 007: I recently visited TJ Maxx and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I mean, I was actually greeted by friendly staff who were genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed. Can you believe it? In this day and age, where customer service seems to be a dying art, TJ Maxx's staff went above and beyond to assist my friend and me.Overall, I had a great experience at TJ Maxx. The staff was amazing and made me feel like a VIP. The only downside is that I spent way too much money on great deals. But hey, that's the price you pay for an enjoyable shopping experience, am I right? TJ Maxx, you've won me over with your killer deals and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back for more.

Cheryll Lee: TJ'Maxx is the most Fabulously store to shop in. Look in one area/ to be amazed in another. Breathe taken' from key chains to pots' and Pans'. To car items' bed spreads' makeup is nice also. Love everything. Also!!! A Gift for My DOG!!! Bones' food/ dog toys' we can't forget CATs' birds'' any kind of Animal. Fish too. Wow. I forgot shoes!!!.

Many of the others around the Detroit area, didn't have much staff to the point you couldn't try on anything.They had a healthy supply of food here as well. Plenty of clearance options too which is always nice.It's definitely one of the better locations around.5/5. I also called the location to tell them that the staff member was very rude and they also decided to not only talk over me but also talk down to me as well. Very very disappointed. And will have to take a break from this location which is super disappointing considering it’s closer for me.

Rachel Vinson: Had a return. When I couldn’t find the card used during purchase quick enough she tried to rush me by stating the four numbers on the card multiple times. I explained to her it was purchased by a different account holder which means different card numbers. She rolled her eyes. Entire experience she had a very blah attitude. Pretty sure you get paid to act like you don’t hate your life/job, especially in a management position. Also, I was sold a defective product and was told it wasn’t returnable. She sarcastically told me to go to the location I got it from, as she clearly saw it was a purchase made on the other side of the country. 0 stars for customer service.

Jeff Stasevich: Fabulous Team at the Rochester Hills, Michigan TJ Maxx. While waiting in line for my turn to check out yesterday I witnessed one of the most considerate acts that I wanted to share. A mother with young children and an infant in a stroller was working to calm her crying baby. She was at the back of line and would've had to wait maybe 5+ minutes for her turn to check out as it was a very busy weekend. A store associate or manager saw this and went to the aid of this customer by bringing her to a register so she could immediately complete her check out and be on her way with a fussy/hungry infant. Very heart warming.

Artist Lynn: It just isnt the same store. I used to find designer clothes at half off now l am lucky if its 25%. But store was clean, and staff were awesome. The manager even extended the return date for a gift item. Store was clean, and organized. But the new business pricing, and inventory sold is not as good as original.
Lana Brohl: Went up to register and the whole time I was checking out the cashier with short blonde hair continuously made comments about how she was sick of customers and didn’t want to check a single customer. Felt like I was an inconvenience even though I was just checking out. Seemed to get frustrated I had several items and called over someone else while saying “can you check people out to make this line go away” (like I was an inconvenience for having several items and was holding up the line)However I give the store a 2 stars because it’s usually an enjoyable experience and the deals are pretty good! 😅

Christine: I really love this location. They have a way bigger jewelry selection than other locations in my opinion. They also have better clothing and jackets than the other locations that are on the east side of metro Detroit. Seems like everyone that works here is really friendly, the line moves fast, and they just overall have a better selection than any of the locations closer to the east side of Detroit.

T C: Decent selection of clothing but being treated like a criminal before and after going into the fitting room is ridiculous. I won’t be back to this location. Making the customer hold up each item of clothing before entering and after exiting is a little humiliating. If you want to count the items you can have the staff take them from the customer, count them and bring them to the fitting room to hang them up as well.

They were so rude I dont think I will ever enter this store again. I left my stuff and walked out.

I would admit it wasn’t horrible but definitely noticeable and she said she would give her them for $29 and they were $29.99. Didn’t even try to be accommodating and they were absolutely rude the whole time. I wish I would’ve went back to get their names but don’t expect good service from this location because it just seems they don’t care about their customers and are just trying to leave and blow them off.

Nicholas Forcier: These stores are hit and miss for men. The clothing section for men is viciously picked over usually and all that's left is childish looking stuff with cartoons or ugly stuff that will never sell. I have been lucky and found nice Puma clothing but it's uncommon usually to find much. (For men)
Trudy L: Took the time to pick out 9 items I wanted to try on. Wait in line for dressing room. Get to the front of the line and the dressing room attendant says we don’t allow people to try on jackets in the dressing room anymore. Weird, but fine. I only had one sweatshirt jacket in the bunch. Then she proceeds to take out the cardigan sweaters I had. I asked why she was taking those? Now she says no jackets AND no sweaters in the dressing room. Well, I picked those sweaters to go with matching tops I wanted to try on, so I just say never mind and walk our. The store will not get my money.If someone cares to explain the logic of this, I’m all ears. They count the items you take in and they count the items you take out. What difference does it make if it’s a cardigan or anything else? Truly bizarre. Maybe don’t treat your clients like criminals and you might make more revenue. I will not be back and I was a regular customer.
Alexandra L: Used to be a nice location with great selection. Now super dumpy and dirty. Overall gross and not enough workers. Long line is not worth staying in.
J W: It's really a store that has everything, I went here for a pair of socks for an event and came out with $60 more of stuff. I'm honestly not sure what they don't have. Big parking lot outside wasn't very busy while I was there and staff was friendly checking out.

I am just happy to be able to try on clothes now in their fitting room post covid!Fast customer service at all their check out registers.Roomy store, space enough to shop without bumping into other people.The only concern I have with this store is "Why is there an armed security guard on duty there now?"

Candace Suriano: Went here for Christmas presents! They have wrap around rings, they are perfect for my mother-in-law, who has arthritis. They also have long necklaces without clasps! Whoo Hoo! Naomi is so nice, she helped me get what I needed! THANKS Naomi!
Melissa Baroni: This is my favorite location of T.J. Maxx in the area. You can tell they make an effort to keep the displays clean and the clothing sized. The selection is also good with a nice mix of brands and price points. It can get busy and the checkout line can be long if they don't have many cashiers working. When you get the max for the minimum price, it's worth the wait. 😉
