My daughter and l went on October 15th and they TOTALLY RIPPED US OFF! They ripped everyone off! Ive been to over 400 concerts in my life and lve never ever have been to one where a major headlining band played for BARELY ONE HOUR! BMTH played for exactly 67 minutes and just ended. No encore, no "thank you Michigan" no NOTHING! They are a great live band, they definitely put it all together, they jam, but come on man! 67 minutes?! Absolutely reprehensible and a total joke! Bring Me The Horizon is a joke and they will rip you off! Never again Olli!

Kat Kerby: Had a great time at the show! A drunk guy fell in front of me and my key fob got attached to him from my lanyard and ripped off when he fell. I didn't notice until I got back to my car, and with being rushed out so quickly by security after the show, there was no way to check for lost/missing items. It took me two days, 40 calls, dozens of emails, social media messages, and comments to finally have someone get a hold of me. Eventually, I got in contact with Jessica, who was the last of the staff left at this venue for the season. She located the fob in the lost and found, and put it aside. I then talked to Mike Buggy, the head of security, who walked me through getting the fob back and where to go since the venue is closed. I appreciate the staff that helped me out with this problem so much, special thanks to Montez, Jessica, and Mike. I saw the box at the lost and found and wasn't surprised to see it filled with missing items as it's so incredibly hard to get a hold of someone at this specific venue the day after the last show of the season. I'm hoping this venue can work on their communication and disorganization a little better before next year.

Especially when it was the day before Thanksgiving that I went out to go visit my Little Sister and Nephew. And everything done turned out Great afterwards. and on my way back it was one quite the Adventure that I can't explain how much I done enjoy my Trip on the Train and especially when it is early in the morning and I gotta tell you. Most of the time my eyes was only looking out the window because I didn't wanna miss anything spectacular like the Rivers,Parks,Bridges,Tunnels,Old Buildings,Abandoned Junk Yards, Abandoned Machine Factories and watching other Trains passing by and hearing the Noise Coming from the Train as I was laying back in my seat Smiling and feeling Blessed that I had a incredible experience on the Train to and from. And dispite of the Negative reviews I gotta say this Amtrak is Worth the money and Worth the Quality to Travel On and Trust and Believe it is not gonna be my Last Time. it's because I can't wait to I see my Love Ones Again Real Soon Thanks Amtrak YOU ARE THEEEE BEST!!!!!!!!

Ms Isaac: Listen, it’s not terrible. There is a waiting room that opens sometime between 5:30-6:00am. Amtrak’s site says 6:00am but I was there last week and people were inside well before that time. The major issue here is that there is only one elevator that is small relative to the number of folks flowing through with bags that they can’t carry up and down the stairs. The staff here is great - knowledgeable and friendly, even at 6:00am when everyone else is cranky as all get out.

Deborah Evans: Plenty of well lit parking is available at this beautiful station on Michigan Ave. The station features exhibit info and artifacts from the nearby Greenfield Village. Clean restrooms and two vending machines. There is a pamphlet display sponsored by the Michigan Railroad Passenger Association. You will enjoy the public art display inside of the station. Friendly and helpful station staff will assist you. Nice place to begin or end a trip. A Tim Hortons is next door to the station.

Amanda Lewinski: My fiancé and I see a movie almost every weekend. We are A List members and love it. Highly recommend if you are movie go-ers like us. We only watch movies on Dolby (it’s so much better) so the seats are comfortable and lean back. Concessions are always good-we’ve gotten a variety of food there. Their chicken tenders are amazing!! Staff is always friendly. Drinks are always good. And bathrooms are always clean!! This is a really nice theater overall. I remember going there as a kid too and as an adult I have a great experience.

Michael McCarthy: The environmentally friendly straws are bad. I had to go through a couple of different ones that were falling apart inside of the wrapper. The seats are not comfortable. The automated ticket kiosks at the entrance didn't work so we went to the window. The ticket window vendor was crass. The commercials and previews before the feature had the volume cranked all the way up. The concessions attendant that was a nice young lady was great to deal with, not the guy with long hair and glasses though, he gave me the creeps. I'll probably stick with MJR in the future.

Lulu: Pretty decent. Went during Matinee hours, no crowds no trouble. The best way to do it is, order your tickets online so that you won't have to stand in a line. Tickets were very reasonable for adults and children. Will be making a return visit.

Tea Bee: This movie theater over sell tickets. The movie theatre was so crowded, people were sitting on the stairs. A manger came and brought a few foldable chairs, and placed those in the handicap section. Still, some people were out of seats, that were paid for. People were able to get a refund for the movie and concessions, so that was good. But all in all, bad experience. Good thing MJR is down the street.

Darcie: Avatar 2 in IMAX was incredible, but the theater had some big faults. The seating is very outdated, and the prices of the popcorn and soda are outrageous. If I'm paying $9 for a popcorn the size of a lunch bag (see photo), the seats better be nice. The ones in the IMAX theater don't recline at all, and they're quite shallow. I'm not likely to return. I always have popcorn and a soda at the movies.Update:The theater wallpaper was also falling off (see photo). Where the heck does the concession money go?!? Fix up the place!

Carmine Tenaglia: First off, the theater seats were less comfortable then the chairs the CIA uses to interrogate at gitmo. The web experience to buy the tickets was really bad and the experience was confusing.I recommend Emagine or another theater before going here.

Christina Maier: We went to a 715 movie on a Tuesday. You pay ridiculous cost for pop and popcorn, but at 815, the concessions AND AUTOMATED POP MACHINES were shut down so no one could get the refill they were entitled to. My kids were really disappointed.

kyle ollila: The area inside and outside is not infested with homeless people. The indoor area has food, and drink machines if you get thirsty or want a snack. The bathrooms are, kind of bad, but what do you expect from a public bathroom.

Bluemax20: The Amtrak stop in Royal Oak is nothing but a track side shelter along the tracks.The Smart bus transit center is across the parking lot and riders are welcome to wait there indoors during hours of operation.Parking is $5 per day Sundays and holidays are free.For those who are visiting Royal Oak or utilizing the Smart bus this is a good connection point.However,if you want a better station head north 3 miles to Coolidge and 14 mile in the shopping center by Krogers.The new Troy station is enclosed plenty of free parking and it sits within the shopping complex behind the Kroger's.Fir those in Oakland or Macomb county this is the station you want to use

In front of this small waiting room area in Detroit she shouts Ma’am, Ma’am, can you walk?!. I said, “Pardon?” She said, in a loud voice, “I said Ma’am, can you walk!?. There are 2 flights of stairs—are you able to walk!?” She basically assumed that because I am overweight that I wasn’t capable of walking up the stairs with my carryon. She shouts in a room full and targets me and thinks that’s kind?Then she calls business class. My son and I walk toward her. She calls business class again. It’s my son and I. I said “we are in business class”. She then holds up 3 fingers in my face and says, “business class while staring at me”. Then says, 3! There’s 3 people in business class!…then she mutters to herself about how she knows what she’s doing as she’s been doing this for years and we’re all crazy that we don’t understand her loud, gestural, rude manner. We get up stairs and then she says to the people waiting, “let me me make my 30 dollars” as people were trying to move ahead before she called on them.You can have a lot going on in your life and still be kind. Never again. And for your information I exercise daily and could have walked up 30 flights of those stairs.

reaction team: The Amtrak Man working behind the desk was very rude. He was highly disrespectful. I didn’t receive his name but it was this morning at 8:03am. I had lost an item on the train. However my item was return to the train station. I was called to come get it. Once I get there the man ask me what I needed. I told him I just received a call saying my item was here. He instantly say “You don’t look like the person on the ID. Then he ask me “Show me some ID”. I tells him my ID is in my lose item that you have. But mind you he just said “I don’t look like the person on the ID” meaning he knew I didn’t have my ID and he saw my ID but still ask me to show him. I asked him to give me my wallet, he then proceeded to toss my wallet in the slot. Gave him my real state ID to show him because the ID he swore didn’t look like me was my school ID, and he glanced at it then tossed it back through the slot. This experience was very rude, the workers of Amtrak is highly unprofessional and rude.

Michael Ems: Employees can be very rude and uninviting here, ask for some sort of help or anything you are treated like a nuisance. Also why does this building look more like a trailer than a flagship location? Chicago has Union Station, Detroit has an old double wide not a great representation of the city especially when Detroit already has a bad reputation.

Gene Pate: Ironically I saw some of the poor reviews before heading to this station to go back to Chicago from my trip to Detroit - I arrived at the Dearborn station on the way in (way better experience). Some of the reviews discussed the constant delays and lack of cleanliness at the station… they were not wrong. There was an older woman at the window. She seemed annoyed or bothered by anyone who approached her and told them to take a seat until she tells them otherwise. To no surprise, she makes an announcement that our train is delayed due to “problems with a train car” and that she’ll update us when the train is near. This was frustrating as the station was absolutely filthy, the seats were uncomfortable and a large percentage of them were broken. I have never had this issue at any other Amtrak station before and I saw on the website that they had a delay with the train earlier in the day as well - go figure… I went to use the restroom and noticed that there is caution tape all over the Women’s restroom, so they taped a sign over the men’s restroom that says “unisex”. Keep in mind, this isn’t a private restroom. This is a restroom with a urinal, two stalls, and the restroom door was held wide open… very strange…. The bathroom was of course disgusting, but that’s what I expected at this station at this point. After about 35minutes the train is about to arrive, the lady rounds everyone up and rudely rushes and hurries everyone aboard the train. She yelled at me to enter another car instead as I was waiting behind a young woman to climb in to. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a 15-20 minute cab to the Dearborn station if that’s an option for you. I will NEVER utilize this station again. Terrible service and staff.

On the way back to Michigan, they tell us that, they are only going as far as Dearborn, MI and not Detroit because of the flood warning (we paid for a trip to Detroit) although I don’t know if there is a price difference between Dearborn and Detroit but on top of dropping us off in Dearborn our train was delayed while on the train, which is okay.. but we left Chicago around 1:30pm and we didn’t get back until 10:30pm, also they didn’t care how we were getting to Detroit, what if we didn’t have money for a Lyft or Uber??? What if we didn’t have anyone to pick us up, they did NOT care.. and the restroom smelled like strong urine, urine was on the floor and still sitting in the toilet. This was our FIRST time on a train and it was a bad experience 👎🏽

oatmealbrownie09: This station was not timely. Our train was scheduled to leave for Chicago at 6:26 am and the staff arrived at 6:00 am. All the passengers should've been told to line up to board the train at least 30 minutes before departure. Instead, the train arrived near the time we were supposed to depart and we were told to line up and were expected to board in 5 minutes. We had a stroller and 6 pieces of luggage and had to wait for the elevator. When we got to the next floor, their staff tried to convince the staff on the train to ask the conductor to wait. The staff saw us standing there and said he already called it and shut the door. The train left us. Do not use this station. Unorganized.

Tushar Suradkar: This station is perhaps not much popular since t was difficult to find even for an experienced taxicab driver but fortunately I had the zip code which helped reaching. The staff is helpful and courteous and there is a ramp for the handicap people. The platform are not very clean but the Amtrak train and the journey fro Detroit to Chicago was comfortable.♿️ This place has:Yes=Ramp access.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Seating.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Parking.

Nat Zorach: Part of me just wants to give a one-star rating so I can figure out how we can get this rating down to an average of 1.0 out of five, because that would be really impressive.But in this case I'm also giving them one out of five stars because one of their drivers passed me on Howard Street just a few minutes ago while I was driving the speed limit. The driver who passed me was going about 35 in a 25. I'm not sure why people think it's okay to pass on a street where there are only two lanes, ie one travel Lane and either direction.How does driving work? How does an engine work? What are rules? What are laws? Well, it seems as though this person didn't know the answer to any of those questions, but maybe they will learn one of these days.

Andrew Spak: Never got a physical ticket on my car. Got a late notice in the mail 2 months later with an additional $20 fee. It is 2022, there has got to be a better way to issue parking tickets than putting it under windshield wipers. Also, it sounds like the Detroit Parking Dept has no actual oversight and has the courts under their rule.

William: I parked where my front right bumper was at the Zone sign. I paid my parking at the meter. When I come out I have a blocking crosswalk ticket. My rear bumper was 6-8 feet away from the crosswalk lines. Nowhere near blocking any walker, biker or wheelchair. Two Detroit Police were walking and I asked them "Is this blocking the crosswalk to you?" They were very nice and said NO, but said they don`t do the parking tickets. One female officer said the parking system is a scam for $$$ as there are no real signs. So I paid for parking and got a ticket too. No wonder Detroit has such a bad reputation.

Michael C: I got a ticket at the Garden Bowl yesterday (Sunday) for parking in a coach spot. There is a bus stop sign where I parked, and within inches there is a sign saying it's a parking sign for zone 206. Sorry but this is a parking spot since the sign is there. This isn't just a bus stop. Was this intentionally put here like this to bait people into parking in a 'bus stop'? I bet it was. As I cop to my car an officer (not the one who wrote it) saw me a slowed down and rolled his window down and pointed at the sign, I pointed at the one saying it's zone 206 and he just said to read the signs. Ian: Received a ticket for being 5 minutes late to renewing my parking, appealed, and was denied. I was at work bussing tables and didn't have time to pull out my phone the second it expired. First time ever getting a parking ticket in my life as well. Ridiculous. Park at the Greentown casino parking for free is my recommendation.

brandon korr: Predatory parking practices. Ticketed 1 minute after my parking expired in the app, while I was refreshing for another 2 hours of parking. Not to mention that they also start counting down the minute you start using the app, even before you confirm your time. Shame on the City of Detroit, its no wonder things haven't changed.

Ethan Martin: I also received a ticket on a street that had no signs or meters of any sort nearby. I sent in a detailed explanation and google map pictures showing there are no signs or meters. They mailed me a denial with NO EXPLANATION!!!! Corruption at it's finest.Leadership needs to improve

Andrew -: I was unloading bicycles to drop off at Downtown Detroit Bike Shop on Peterboro. (car is on with someone it) The ticket agent pulls up and I tell her I am not parked as she did not begin to write the ticket it proceeded even after I told her what I was doing. Since there is no area to drop of the bikes, I was simply rolling them to the door and going to park.It’s small situations like this that spark huge problems in our city. While they need to do their jobs, it was apparent that I was not abusing any privilege and was going to be on my way.If you want a friendly, profitable Cory, start by training those to create the atmosphere you are seeking all while enforcing with good judgement.
